Good Stuff Moving

I would HIGHLY recommend using this company. I have moved with over 7 companies across the US in both business and personal. I would rate this company as the best. Why? They were super professional. They checked in every month for over a year as follow up when my house was on market , the owner came out and gave a professional estimate and allowed me to ask questions and explained all details of the move. They also delivered free recycled boxes so that I could pack at my own pace and on moving day the movers did not hit a piece of furniture on the wall. I have never had that happen! Every one of the guys from owner to the movers were professional and nice. AND...the guys who packed were also the guys who delivered - they took personal ownership of making sure my things were delivered on time and without damage. A really great company and a really great team to work with!!!!!!!!! So nice during a stressful time to know that you have professional people you can count on. Thanks Good Stuff!!!!

This was a 4-stop, 5-hour move and James and Zach did a great job! They arrived on time, were very courteous and professional, and they were very careful with our belongings. The estimate we were given ahead of time was accurate and all arrangements went smoothly. This was the third time I've used Good Stuff Moving and I would certainly use them again and recommend them to others.

Excellent experience. They arrived on time, performed their tasks as expected in a professional manner. One very heavy piece was moved from a second floor room and down a winding staircase to a main floor exit. The 2 member crew was careful and did the work with no bumps or slips. Very good job!

Overall, it was great. They worked through the snow and were very nice. Sadly, the estimates on how long it would take was overshot by a number of hours, but that's what happens when you live in a snowy city! Compared to other companies on here, their pricing was great. Going over the estimated 4 hours by 2 additional hours was difficult on the wallet, though. A few pieces got dinged in the moving process. Fortunately the missing chunks are generally on the back of furniture and I can glue it back on with wood glue. No worries there, but that's why they got a B on Quality above. I'll use them again, for sure!

Great experience. The guys arrived on time, loaded the items from the first location quicker than I would have thought possible. They made good driving time to the second location where I had additional items to pickup and then arrived promptly at the final drop-off location. I had a bunch of really heavy items to be moved including a very heavy treadmill and several big heavy wooden dressers--and these had to be taken up to the second story of the new house. They did a great job not damaging the items or the walls/paint of the house. They laid out floor mats in the house to minimize any tracking of snow/dirt inside. The movers were very pleasant and courteous to deal with, all the more remarkable given it was something like -5 degrees on the morning of the move! The main office quoted me a reasonable hourly charge for the service which was calculated from the time of truck arrival to the time of final departure plus 1 additional hour to compensate for the drive time they had to make from the drop off location (about 50 miles out of town) back to their home base. Overall everything went perfectly. I have no reservations in recommending this company.

Paul gave us our estimate. He was thorough and looked at everything we intended to move. We were going to swap washing machines, but a plumbing problem prevented us from doing that. Getting an hourly price as opposed to a fixed price worked very well. Four movers arrived at the specified time. They were efficient and professional and were nice guys. I would definitely recommend that others use their services.

Excellent. Very thorough and pleasant office people. We were even called the evening before as a reminder! Movers were prompt, polite, careful, and quick. A very professional group.

Excellent. They charged by the hour so I was charged slightly less than the 4 hours they anticipated -- we were pretty prepared before they arrived. This is the 2nd time I've used them, and my wife's old roommate used them as well -- we all had only positive experiences with them. I would use them again (though right now, I hope I don't have to for a while).

They were terrific. Their price was right and they did what they said they would do. They were very courteous and responsive. They checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied.

From start to finish, I was incredibly impressed with their service. 5 guy completed the project with two trucks in about 10 hours. They were punctual, professional, and very courteous. Overall, a wonderful experience! I plan on continuing to use them as necessary.

When I first called, they let me know exactly what I could expect and were prompt in calling to followup and arrange a move date. Although because of an employee accident, they did not complete the move when first planned, they offered a very satisfactory financial adjustment and worked to make sure the move was completed in a timely way.

The crew of two showed up at the scheduled time--between 1 and 3. There were supposed to call before they arrived, but they must have called a wrong number cuz I didn't get a call. They came to the house any way and rang the door bell and I just caught them. I am glad that they didn't just blow the job off when they didn't get an answer on the phone. They introduced themselves and offered their hand for a hand shake. They went to work right away and even held up the roll top desk so that I could apply floor pads to the bottom. They paused so that I could dust the back of the desk. The crew was very polite and pleasant.

Thanks to the movers, we accomplished the move in less time than we anticipated. They were great to work with.

They are very good. They have already moved few loads for me. They are very helpful. I am paying a lot of money but they are doing a good job. The person that comes makes sure he follows what I say. He makes sure everything went fine. The people that came were very courteous and caused no damage. The quality of work they did was very good. They kept following up every time, and they got back to me within 24 hours. They were punctual. They are very professional and good to work with. I recommend them to anybody who is moving. They even helped me with small jobs.

Overall, several circumstances made the moving experience less then excellent. The heat was a factor, a damaged dresser compromised trust and a disagreement on the calculation of the final price jaded what could have been easy but appeared to be a tense situation late on a hot muggy Saturday afternoon in the rain.

Very responsive when we called. Came out to give us a bid right away. Provided a detailed estimate of services and costs and did a good job of managing our expectations upfront. Still experienced sticker shock, and we probably could have saved if we had shopped around some more. But it was the busiest moving month and time, so we understood we would be paying a premium, and we didn't have the energy to do a lot of research. They provided a crew of four guys each day, with at least two guys the same for continuity. All wore the same shirts that had their names on them. Nice touch. We really liked the crew; they were a pleasure to work with. They came on Wednesday to pack for six hours, came on Thursday to load for six hours, held the packed trucks overnight, drove 100 miles to our new home, and unloaded for six hours. Overall, we had a good experience, considering how stressful moving is. There was some minor damage to a couple pieces of furniture, which they promptly reimbursed us for by reducing our bill. I was frustrated that they didn't unpack my lateral file before moving it, especially since we were told that lateral files should be packed because they're too heavy. So my files were all over the place. My husband did not like how they packed his basement things (marking everything as "basement") because it was impossible to know what was in the individual boxes. If you decide to have someone pack for you, my advice is to be explicit about your expectations. We thought we did so, but we would be even more specific if we did it again.

They were wonderful. Only one thing was broken, which we could have done ourselves. They suggested 2 trucks and added 2 more people. This was great because the first truck was filled up within an hour and a half. The second truck was probably half to 3/4 full. As far as project planning, they had everything organized and were very professional.

The movers were fantastic and FAST! They actually came in under what was estimated by a few hundred dollars which was great. We moved an entire housefull of goods and furniture out of one house and into our new house in about 8 hours. They were courteous and respectful and took great care of our belongings. Nothing was broken or damaged and they wrapped all the furniture to protect it. All the guys were very professional. I will definately refer them to our friends.

They arrived on time, did a great job of wrapping or otherwise protecting the furniture, cheerfully took this heavy stuff from a second story duplex to a house with steep staris to the second floor--and were awfully nice, as well.

The estimator did a great job and was a key factor in winning the business. The only down fall was he showed up late and that came on the heels of a company the day before whose estimator never showed. However, he was apologetic, and made up for his mistake by providing free delivery of boxes and including garage packing at no charge. All services happened on time and with very thorough and courteous staff. The boxes came on the day promised and the garage packing occurred on the appointed day. The day of the move the crew arrived on time and wasted no time. They stopped to eat on route to our new home and deducted the time from the final bill. The move went fast and the crew finished an hour earlier than the original estimate. I have very little criticism of this company and the staff. They were all business and this seemed to be consistent from the estimator on through to the moving crew itself. We did have an issue with some minor damage to a couch resulting from trying to force it through and opening that was two small. It became clear a door should have been removed before attempting it. The men who attempted this were quite apologetic and we judged the damage minor, though it could have been worse. In moving in to our new home the crew was very helpful in placing furniture and continuously asked if there was any more they could do. I would not hesitate to use this company again

The guys at Good Stuff Moving were extremely courteous and made the whole experience worry-free. 2 guys showed up ready to work, and didn't stop until the job was complete. We had a couple items in the basement of the new house that we wanted to move upstairs, and the guys did it without blinking. My wife and I were very pleased with the service.

Matt, Ed, and Kipper were GREAT. They showed up on time, loaded all items carefully, and used blankets to protect our doorways and staircase banisters. They worked at a great pace. They were able to unload all of our belongings. Upon delivery to our new home, most of the boxes were labelled and put in the appropriate rooms. For a few things, we changed our mind where to put them, and the crew happily moved them to the new locations. Matt helped us put together the bed frames and mattresses. They took back some of our unused boxes and gave us immediate credit. Highly recommended. Well worth the money!

Matt & Ryan were on time, worked steadily and cheerfully. It was nice that they had a sense of humor. The armoire, especially, was a challenge to get out and then in as the spaces were small. After the move Matt pointed out a couple of places where a bit of paint was scraped onto the walls. After they left, I easily touched up one spot and the other was so small, I couldn't even find it again. Good Stuff moving deserves its high rating.
