Good Stuff Moving

Very happy. Matt showed up right on time with the estimate. Was friendly and courteous. Took the time to walk through our house to get an accurate estimate of what we needed to move. Provided a detailed estimate, including factors that would potentially increase or decrease the final cost. On packing day, the crew showed up and worked quickly and efficiently. My only complaint is that some of the kitchen boxes weren't as clearly labeled as we would have liked. We couldn't be there when they were doing the packing, so my mother was supervising. Had we been there, we could have labeled things better. Matt's estimate of the number of boxes was almost right on, as well. Moving day went equally well. The crew showed up on time and wasted no time. They were very fast and had the entire truck loaded in a couple hours. Moving in went equally well. We paid them by the hour, but they worked like they were paid by the job! The only damage we had was a barely visible dent in a particle board shelf, and a cracked lamp shade that was so old the plastic had become brittle and you could push your finger through it without even trying. Even for these minor things, they were very concerned when they followed up with us and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied.

They were great. If I needed to move again, I would not hesitate to call them.

The two young men doing the move were very nice and did such a nice job. None of the items had been damaged, and they finished ahead of schedule. In fact, as soon as they had finished, I phoned the office to express my appreciation.

The movers also left many items at the old house. I was under the impression that they would handle ALL the moving for me; I had to make a special trip up to the old house to bring home a couple pieces of patio furniture. Overall, they did an OK job, but I have never hired movers before, so I wasn't completely sure on what to expect. For the price we paid, I would expected full-service with zero items damaged and all the items moved. OH well. Live and learn, I guess!

We decided we did not want to pay all that money, our furniture is mostly Ikea and not worth the money it would take to move it. Matt was very honest while he was here and said that is an option we might want to consider.

This review is long over-due; about four months. We had the pleasure of working with Good Stuff moving to move our belongings out of a basement in the North Metro, make a stop to pick up more items at another basement in-between, and finally to our new home in the south metro. We found it most beneficial and cost effective to hire THREE staff team members of Good Stuff. They were very forthcoming about how much everything would cost and how long it would take. They advised us on the route that would be taken to travel from one destination to the next. The staff worked hard the entire time and were very respectful. We had heard about other competitors that stopped to take breaks often and had foul language. This was not the case with Good Stuff moving, they were top notch from start to finish. We had problems getting the king size bed up the stairs. The offered to take off the front door in order to make it happen and were successful. We can not say enough, how pleased we are with their performance.

We choose them because of word of mouth. We found them on Angie's list. Both times that we have used them, we were very pleased.

I called these guys on Friday morning and they were ready to go the next day. They sent me a 3 man crew that worked hard the entire time, and didn't take breaks even when I offered them (several times). They did an especially outstanding job moving into the new house. They laid runners down everywhere and put plastic down on all the carpeting. It was truely truely professional. Oh, ad let's not forget the free boxes! I said I'd need 5-6 and the owner said "no problem, we'll bring 30" hahaha definitely experienced. Unfortunately for them, I hate moving as most people do, and I never intend on doing it again!! But If I had to, I wouldn't even look for another company. I'd go right to Good Stuff. Great job fellas, you really deserve all the great reviews.

They arrived on time and finished more quickly than we expected.

They did very well. They worked really hard. Technically, the only thing they broke was a plastic waste basket worth about $1.50! They get an 'A+' across the board.

They get high ratings and would use them again in the future.

Al and Derek, our movers, called when they were on their way. Again, a nice gesture. They were prompt, careful, personable and worked well together as a team. They even asked if I'd like help putting the shelves back in the refrigerator after the move was complete! I will be recommending Good Stuff to friends and family for any and all moving needs. THIS is how a company should run if they want to gain and retain business!! A++ experience !! Thank you, guys !!!

I would give them top ratings across the board. I've actually used them in the past and I went back to them, not only because the place I’m moving to recommended them, but they also had a 30 percent off coupon. I really had a good experience with them. They were professional. They had everything I needed for the move even if it was an added cost for moving boxes. I am a single person and they took apart my bed and put it back together because they had the tools and I didn't. I very much appreciated that. They put down runners so they wouldn't get the carpet dirty. They were very careful in terms of moving because I was moving from a second floor apartment that had stairs. They were very careful not to scratch the doors or walls. Their office staff was very easy to work with. They returned calls promptly and they asked good questions in terms of what might be needed. They are very much a full service organization. They also provided different alternatives to work with my price range.

They were excellent. They showed up on time, were very good at moving the furniture and very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

It was a complicated move. Good Stuff handled it beautifully. They were quick responsive and professional. They came in under quote by over $800. I was very pleased and would use Good Stuff again in the future.

The experience went good. The pricing was a little high, but the quality of service was good. They were not quite on time, nor were they all that professional. I will use them again if needed in the future.

They moved all the furniture and heavy boxes, as well as electronics. They were polite, calm, and were great about moving and giving suggestions on what the best way to move. They worked straight through until all was taken care of. They didn't damage anything and were clean (no mud in the area). They did some extra stuff, such as lifted a safe to the trash. Additionally, they were on time. They confirmed previous to coming to our place that they were coming on time. .

It was a very good experience. They gave a good estimate. They are very conscientious, careful, and made sure to protect our home during the entire process. They were quick, efficient, and professional. The estimate was dead on. I would definitely recommend their services.

The two movers arrived at the senior apartment building on time, coordinated quickly with the staff, and began the move quickly and efficiently. I couldn't believe how fast they moved everything out, causing minimal disruption for residents. I believe the move was one of the least disruptive of any at that building. At our home, they again oved quickly and efficiently. There were no scratches or damage to the furniture or to walls/floors. I found the movers to be very professional and courteous. If I ever have another move, I will definitely use Good Stuff Moving, and would recommend them to any friends.

They had to pack some things I didn't have time to do, they disassembled furniture at the starting location and reassembled them at the destination, wrapped and padded all my pictures and paintings, placed all the furniture exactly where I wanted them at my new apartment. They were very efficient and friendly and courteous. Everything arrived at my new apartment in perfect condition - nothing was broken, damaged or lost.

They were great. I got an estimate in July, and when I called in August to set up the specific day, their rates had gone up for the month but they honored the estimate I had received. I had problems with my move date and two days ahead of time I called to change the date, and they were very gracious about the change because of my extenuating circumstances. I went between date set up and our move to pick up boxes. They "rent" them to you for $2 ea, which you get back when you return them. They even helped me get them into my car, which took some time because I had a double stroller and my twins in the car. I still have a few to return to them and I'm sure I'll get the rest of my credit back, whenever I finally get around to it! On the day of the move, they gave a 20 minute phone call ahead of their arrival, as expected. I had a set amount I wanted to spend for their services [$400] to move the major items like furniture and as many boxes as they could during the time we had them for, but not go over the amount. They actually came in under that amount because they were cautious in the timing and straightforward with me on what they could accomplish--but they still got everything in our two bedroom duplex to our new apartment as I had hoped. We had them move all of our furniture and all the boxes we had packed at that time (about 1/2 of our apartment). Somewhere in this part of the move, 6 shelves for our bookcase went missing. Once they verified that they didn't have them in a truck, I dropped off the one shelf I did have and they had replacements cut at Home Depot store and dropped them off at our new apartment. The original shelves were basic boards, so they might have been mistaken for random boards left in the truck from something else, I'm guessing. Despite the missing shelves, if I'm moving locally again, I will use them again.

They did great. I liked that they showed up on time and they took care of our furniture. There was only a minor damage on something. They were very friendly. They weren’t ramming into walls or anything and they did everything like we asked them to. I also liked that they provided free boxes with the service. We had three months after our move date to return them and I really appreciate them for that. I really appreciated that and we were able to get all done. Their price was competitive with everybody else. I would use them again and I would recommend them to anybody.

I spent about $2,000 on the job. They were very professional. They were fantastic. They took care of all my stuff. They really wrapped it up. I felt very confident in whatever they did. I would use them again in the future.
