Good Stuff Moving

They were on time, professional, worked non-stop, and even offered to put beds together for me. They moved a 3,000 square foot area in only two hours. I have no complaints.

We were impressed with the administrative personnel; the onsite bid was professional and quick. We were called the day before the move, to confirm time. On the day of the move, the three-man team we requested were on time. The three young men were professional, intelligent, articulate, neatly dressed, polite and efficient. They completed the move ahead of time and that reflected cost savings. They will be our mover of choice in the future.

They were very prompt and very professional. We even left money out accidentally which they packed. Very trustworthy, in my opinion. My only complaint is the actual cost was double the estimate. I had planned to pay cash for the move but as a result of the drastic difference we had to use a credit card which will cost even more since interest will accrue before we can pay it off.

I hired Good Stuff Moving company, and included with my move was 3 guys to move and a truck. They arrived right on time and went straight to work. They were so professional, and very quick to get the job done. They handled all of my furniture with great care. The move was quick, and the price very affordable. They were pleasant and professional to work with. We appreciated the attention and care they took with our things. They were focused on the work, but appeared to be enjoying each other's company as they worked.

They were prompt, polite, fast and efficient. I couldn't have asked for a better team. They introduced themselves, had us walk through both houses so they could see and understand what we wanted. They were very courteous and funny! I recommended Good Stuff to my sister and brother-in-law who had an upcoming and much more complicated move. From start to finish -- making the estimate, scheduling the move, moving our stuff, and following up afterwards -- Good Stuff delivered excellent service. Good Stuff Moving was very good at moving our household furniture and belongings from the house we had lived in for over 20 years to another. We did all the packing of all household goods ourselves using the boxes they provided. We have extensive art works and they provided special boxes for them and even offered an extra van for the art work only. We chose to move the art works ourselves and did not use the van but it was very nice of them to offer the use of it. The men were very polite and tried to be careful of walls and floors and put down down carpet runners in both the old and new home. They are not inexpensive but they are good.

We hired Good Stuff after they came out and did an on site estimate. Good Stuff was great to work with and very professional from the initial phone call, to the on-site estimate, to the actual move on moving day (note that we tried to get a couple other movers out for estimates too but one said they were booked and another agreed to come out but then didn't show up - this was Quality Moving in Edina - avoid Quality Moving, very poor customer service, see my review about them on their page). As for the move itself, Good Stuff was very careful with everything and wrapped the furniture with blankets and shrink wrap. They also put blankets and plastic wrap around the stairway railings to protect them, and they put down runners on the hardwood floors and also they put down plastic runners on the carpeting to protect it. They were very careful and we do not see a single nick or ding in either house in any walls or flooring! Also, the furniture was well protected too. The crew of 5 were all polite and professional, and worked hard. I used to be a mover myself years ago so I know that they were working as hard and fast as they could. They also took apart and reassembled several pieces of furniture for us too, and this was much appreciated. They also took off doors to fit things in and put them back on after the move. The estimate was very close to the final charge, so that was good too. This was the 3rd time we've hired movers in the last 15 years and this was by far the most professional company we have ever worked with for moving. I highly recommend Good Stuff! I would highly recommend Good Stuff Moving. From my first contact, they were very professional & helpful providing me with all of the information I needed to ensure a smooth moving day. The crew arrived early at 7:15am ready to work and had us packed up ~3 hours! They unloaded in about the same amount of time and were very careful to take care of all furniture, our floors, and boxes. They kept in constant communication with us and always asked us if they had any questions about moving certain items or the placement of certain items. They even helped with furniture placement in the new house & made some great recommendations for layouts! Our moving day was so smooth thanks to the hard working crew and were a big stress reliever as I didn't have to worry about a thing. Oh and they totally came in on the estimated time & budget! I would gladly use this company again.

The fellows from Good Stuff arrived 30 minutes earlier than was scheduled. They got quick instructions and started in. They worked quickly gathering things from the container in our condo. We also had a rented truck for items which would go to a storage unit. They asked questions on where certain boxes should go if the items in it were somewhat ambiguous. Our toughest item was a sleeper couch. They wrangled it into the proper room. All the furniture looks very good. We've found very few boxes that were in the wrong room. The guys had a short lunch break and came to the location of the storage unit. They unloaded all the items from the truck into the unit. All was quick and easy. Good Stuff personnel from the person taking the order to the fellows doing the unload were all professional and friendly. I have no idea how Good Stuff prepares and places household items into a truck/pod but I do know they do a fantastic job of moving items out of a container. I have no qualms recommending Good Stuff and will call on them again if I need moving help.

These folks do a great job of the schedule and planning - this was a very small job, but they have a great process on getting the job setup and scheduled - they showed up on time and this was the best thing of these guys. This was a very small job and they bill based on their time it takes - the person that scheduled explained the billing process and I agreed. My only issue was there was no urgency in what they were doing and I am pretty sure they slowed way down so they could bill me another 30 minutes and take the cost from $205 to $290. I almost had to chuckle as they had me wait while they slowly folded the packing blankets. Then when they "worked" on the paperwork and I waited, they pushed another 10 minutes onto the bill to get the next 30 minutes. I wasn't going to make a fuss - but I was not oblivious to what they were doing. So in short - dependable, but questionable business practices.

We cannot thank these gentlemen enough! They did a fantastic job. A team of 4 came in, on time, and moved everything quickly and efficiently. The job consisted of moving hundreds of dishes from our photo studio prop room, so it was not an easy task, believe me, but they handled it perfectly and took great caution in moving them out, and then having to come back a week later and move them all back to the original space (including disassembling and then assembling the large racks they were on!) They certainly were prepared and knew exactly what to do. We were extremely impressed with these guys!! We WILL be calling them again!! Thank you Angie's List... you, and Good Stuff Moving, made our project go smooth and on time!!

Good Stuff showed up on time with 3 very polite young men. They worked hard and never seemed to stop moving. By noon it was obvious that they needed more help so Good Stuff sent 3 more guys and another truck. With the 3 extra guys the move went faster. The cost was about $2000 for a total of 6 guys and two trucks. It was a great deal, I would hire them again.

Eric & Tyler arrived on time, loaded the items and drove across town to my new address and unloaded. The entire endeavor took 1 hour, but because of the 2-hour minimum I was required to pay the entire minimum amount.

I opted to have 4 guys and 2 trucks show up for the move. Even though the houses are in the same city, they are on opposite ends of the city and the drive time is about 15 to 20 minutes. I didn't want that commute slowing down the move. I knew that if I had only 1 truck, they would have to make 2 trips - which I didn't want. The guys showed up at 7:30am which was right on time. There were 4 young, strong guys who were all very polite. They wore uniforms (basically Under Armor shirts that were the same color) with their names on them which was a nice touch. We went through the house quickly to show them what needed to be done. We had moved all our boxes and small things the weekend before. I just wanted the movers to concentrate on the things I wasn't able to easily move. I am very glad we did this. It helps the movers (who are paid hourly) get through your move more quickly without all the small stuff. They wrapped all the necessary furniture before putting it on the truck. They packed it carefully. They didn't move at a break neck speed but they weren't dawdling either. At times I wish they were moving faster (that is just the nature of paying by the hour) but they really took care of our stuff. Nothing was damaged. At the new house, they moved everything in quickly. They set up the beds for us. They had an issue moving a refrigerator in. They had to take off a door to the house and a door of the fridge in order to get it in. They problem solved the issue until it was where we wanted it. Very professional. They also had to lift our patio table up 1 story onto the deck as there is no access from the ground and they couldn't get it through the house. Again, great problem solving to get the furniture to a place we wanted it. They finished the move at 1:15pm (6 hours and 45 minutes). They took off (from the time they charged us) 15 minutes for their lunch stop and 30 minutes of riding time. So the move was 6 hours. At $276 per hour the total was $1656. Again, I was very impressed at how well they took care of our stuff and their problem solving abilities to get the furniture to the spots we wanted. The guys were great and easy to deal with. I was very happy and would recommend them to anyone.

The guys worked very quickly, wrapped all items very well, broke down furniture as needed. We had a 3 man crew and were moving on a day with a higher rate but it was worth it - they moved so quickly it ended up being less money than originally quoted. Would recommend and use again definitely!

The person I spoke to on the phone was very professional and accommodating. He provided a solid estimate and was interested in providing me the service I needed at the lowest cost to me. The the three men showed up exactly on time (8 am). They were incredibly respectful and just generally nice. They worked hard, including disassembling exercise equipment and navigating stairs. At the storage facility they worked to ensure I would only need one facility vs two, saving me money. I will use them again when it is time to move back into the house.

Arrived as scheduled and got right to work. For some pieces that were difficult to maneuver, they took extra care to get them down (or up) stairs and out of the house. Crew was always cheerful and pleasant, despite the very hot weather. Greeted me with their names and were never put out for what I asked. They were even able to move extra items like bicycles that I hadn't bid out originally, but was VERY glad to have taken care of. There always seems to be more to do on moving day than you plan for up front - and I felt those issues were well taken care of. In the end, for what I paid, I felt like I got a real deal!!! I've already referred them to a few family members with the same results on work done. Thank you, Good Stuff!

Moving team arrived early and promptly packed everything we hadn't done ourselves already. They were open to reusing boxes and packing materials from our previous move. The team was done early and went ahead and loaded the truck as well, which had been scheduled for the next day. They fit everything into a 24' truck from Budget, which was amazing. Kipper, in particular, was a master at fitting things together and making sure it all got onto the truck and that nothing shifted. The only item that broke was something I had packed myself, obviously not well enough.

Awesome. The movers took excellent care of the furniture and wrapped it well for the move. The job performed was better than I expected and I was very happy with the move.

The movers were polite and fun loving. Good attitudes and very professional. They got it all done in one day and moved us in the next day. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They even picked up our empty cartons.
