Good Stuff Moving

The experience was excellent. Two guys came with their truck, did the move in a timely manner and at a fantastic price. Best move I ever had!

Good Stuff Moving was excellent!!!! Their estimate was right on the money! They offer free boxes, their staff was friendly, professional and careful! They moved our things like it was theirs! Everything was wrapped and stacked perfectly. I would give them a 10+ rating and would highly recommend them and their services! Thank you Good Stuff Moving for a great job!

From the initial quote to when the truck pulled away, this was an excellent experience. Moving is never fun, but the folks at Good Stuff do a good job of accurately estimating their expense and time. I packed a little more than half of my things, but left the kitchen and some other places for them to do. It was conscientiously packed and I have no broken or lost items from the move. Their crew was just phenomenal and had a good attitude, particularly with someone sensitive to how much junk he was moving like me! The owner was very straightforward about what they couldn’t move for me, but the guys packed it all up so I could take it in my car. All in all, this company made moving a breeze and if peace of mind is your need, they’re the place to go!

Everything went well. The movers were prompt, courteous, and professional. Absolutely no issues.

It didn't happen. Brent, one of the owners called me after my lengthy in home estimate and told me he didn't want to move me because I "Yelled at him before and because I asked him why he was calling today." I had talked to his office guy Jim in May and set dates for a long distance move. I called a couple weeks later to ask about the storage move I was contemplating. Brent the owner made some weird comment as I was trying to explain my situation is I told Him I couldn't tell if he was teasing me or not so please don't tease me because it was confusing enough as it was. That's what he called "yelling at him." My voice never changed volume or pitch. I did want him to stay focused on the current move not some potential business in the future. I agreed to have the estimator come out I think that may have been the other owner Paul that suggested that. I had already given a deposit for the long distance move. The estimator came out and re-entered most of the information that I had already given on the phone. He also did not have the dates which I thought were set in my initial call. so we reverified that. we then spent over an hour figuring out what would be moved to storage and what would be moved long distance. because we decided to do two different dates he asked for a second two hour deposit which was processed immediately. He left and all was well. Within 10 to fifteen minutes I got a call from the office from Brent, I asked why he was calling me. He was asking me what the moving dates were supposed to be and informing me it would be over two dates which had been established weeks ago on the first phone call which I had to reestablish with Matt just minuets ago which I did find annoying as I figured out this was the weird guy that was making inappropriate comments before. he said he didn't see it on the form and I told him I saw Matt enter it. I was thinking why didn't he just call Matt. shortly after that phone call he called again two tell me he didn't want to move me because I yelled at him before ( can't a girl ask not to be teased?) and I asked him why he was calling me. He then proceeded to ask me for my credit card information so it could be refunded. I felt very uncomfortable about giving him my credit card info so I called the card company to dispute the 296 prior deposit and alert me if the deposit for the storage move went thru. I thought he was being very unprofessional and I thought he seemed a little unbalanced so it was probably just as well. I called Quality moving company and had dates pinned down and both moves rescheduled in about 5 minutes for a similar price and a lot less hassle. And I only had to speak with one person, the owner.

Everything about Good Stuff was fantastic from the first phone call through the move. The staff was helpful, friendly and professional. Moving is stressful and working with a company that handles everything so well made it so much better. We loved being able to purchase boxes inexpensively and then return them for a full refund. This was such a plus. Our moving crew arrived right on time and was done in about 5 hours and the crew really did a perfect job. Thank you for your outstanding service. We couldn't be happier.

Overall, it went fairly well - after the dust settled. Price: Good Stuff was within dollars of any of the other bids we requested. They weren't at first, but on their own initiative, they dropped the cost which brought them in line. Quality: Overall, good. We had 3 movers and, for the most part, they moved right along. There were some glitches but most of them could be attributed to the lousy weather (sooooo much snow !!!) *See below for the downside and the reason not rated excellent. Responsiveness: Excellent. Any questions were answered quickly - both before and after service. Professionalism: I liked the professionalism of Matt who came out to bid the move. He noted what was to be moved and was good about answering questions. I also liked the 'professional' estimate that was emailed. *On the downside -- Quality: all started out well on the day of the move. But things got sloppy. (1) At the house to be vacated, floor coverings were put down. But only in the entry, hallway and bedroom section of the house. There were no coverings used in the living area nor on the lower level and, not only was snow tracked in from outside the garage but so also was the salt and sand from the street. ON TO HARDWOOD FLOORS. Worse, that stuff was tracked upstairs onto the cherry hardwood floors. We had to hire a cleaning service to get the house ready for a showing 2 days later. (2) There were some nicks on 2 of the bigger pieces of furniture. (3) Floor coverings were not put down on the hardwood floors at the new house. Thankfully no salt/sand issues. Professionalism: Overall, excellent. As indicated above, Matt was good to work with. And the lead fella on the 3-man crew was excellent as well. But there was 1 fella who more than once stated - purposely within ear shot - that they'd better get a BIG tip because some of the furniture was heavy. The 1st time it was irritating. After that it made us angry. The men were supposed to have equipment with them and I would wonder if that equipment might make moving easier. ***It should be noted that the company reimbursed some of the cost toward the cleaning service required at the 1st house (I had enclosed photos of the floors). I'm on the fence as to whether we would hire again. I think we would give them another chance - with maybe a discussion upfront.

We've undergone approximately a dozen moves, this was arguably the best experience we've ever had with a moving company. Brent the owner was super responsive and easy to get in contact with to discuss arrangements and arrange the quote. The quote we received provided several options for what would work best for us. The movers that arrived were exceptionally professional and particular with how they moved and cared for our items; we haven't identified anything that we believe has received a scratch or any other type of damage with this move. We highly recommend and expect to call this company first when we need to move again.

Scheduled to have movers arrive first thing Monday morning for a very small job of moving a couch from first floor to second floor. Woke up to a coating of ice in the entire MSP area so I figured they would either call to let me know it will be later in the day or reschedule. I was very surprised when they arrived right in their scheduled window of time. Couch was moved in a flash and they were done. Very much appreciated. Thank you.

I hired Good Stuff Moving to do a small move of a 1 bedroom apartment to another apartment 0.5 mile away. I am shocked and appalled at how slow and unprofessional the movers were. It took them well over an hour to unload the truck. For comparison, my friend and my dad took 45 minutes to unload the truck when I moved a month ago (into a temp situation). I brought FOUR CARLOADS over this week to the new apartment, so there were about half as many boxes and small items for the movers. Plus, my dad has severe balance and equilibrium issues due to hydrocephalus. There is no reason two healthy 20- or 30-somethings should have taken nearly TWICE as long to unload nearly HALF as many things. They quote you a cheap price, and it ends up being more expensive because their movers drag their feet to rack up the bill. I am furious. To add injury to injury, the movers damaged several items. What should have cost less than $200 cost $354 in services and likely quite a lot more in damages (the move was today, so I don't know the extent of the damage yet). This was outrageous and egregious.

Estimator did in-home inventory and e-mailed an estimate on Jan, 17, 2019. I e-mailed company on Jan. 26, 2019 asking for license/insurance information. Got phone call from Brent(?) telling me that they would not do the job with excuse they had a couple of big projects the last 10 days of March. Was it just a coincidence that they refused the job because of my inquiry? Would not do business with this company again and will warn my friends and realtor about its unprofessional behavior.

Good Stuff Moving was fantastic from start to finish. Very responsive, punctual and we had such a great group of guys move us. They were polite,considerate, careful, and very efficient with their time. I would highly recommend them. No complaints at all.

Went great. We had a few pieces of furniture to be moved...we found out last minute and had to scramble to find someone who could do it. The people at Good Stuff were happy to help even though we needed a truck the next morning. The had no problem covering that. The truck and two guys were there even a few minutes early the next morning. They actually knew the building better than I did, knew where to park. They were courteous, friendly and moved quickly and got everything wrapped and out the door to the truck...and when they got to our house...again..quickly got everything in and placed and were good to go. They did a great job and we would definitely hire them again and recommend them.

They did a great job, as usual. A little expensive for a single piece, but worth every penny.

Very well. The moving team were professional, polite and very efficient. Boxes cost $2 ea, but you get that fee back when you return the boxes which is a great approach both in savings and reducing landfill. We have now used Good Stuff for (2) moves and both went extremely well. We highly recommend them and their pricing was more than competitive!

Easy and professional. My stuff was loaded on their truck and came to my house in St. Paul without damage and no transfers (consolidators). Worked out great.

From the phone call thru estimate to the move, we couldn't be more pleased! They changed their schedule the day of the move to accommodate our changing schedule, saving us time and money. The three young men who did the grunt work couldn't have been more professional or hard working! This company gets customer service at it's highest level!

I did most of the packing and later got their tips which included not to make the boxes too heavy. oops. I'm still unpacking too many clothes for too small closets and too much stuff for tiny condo. I thought I had downsized. NOT enuf.

Great. They were efficient, careful and understanding. They asked for my input on where the objects should go before placing them, making it much easier to unpack (although I am still working on unpacking.) The shipment included plants and fragile items and they all arrived safely. I would absolutely recommend.

I called very last minute to ask for moving assistance. They were kind and quick; knew their schedule and even though they didn't have room initially, did attempt to fit me in. The callback was just 30 minutes later. Unfortunately they were not able to fit me in; but to be frank, I think it shows integrity. I'm going to keep them in mind for my next move!

Great. We had only 4 days to get ready for a remodeling job and needed help moving some large pieces of furniture and equipment. We had other bids and Good Stuff’s price was very competitive. They also were able to accommodate our request for same day moving services. They called to confirm 20 minutes before arriving. The movers were very quick, knowledgeable and efficient and they were really careful with all of our things. The entire move took less than an hour. We definitely recommend this company.

The company was responsive on a small job with deadline in 4 days. Great service from the quote to the moving. They called before the showed up , arriving 10 minutes early. I recommend them.

I wanted to hire these guys!! However, others had hired them before we could and they were booked for the date I need to move. They however made it right by letting us use their boxes for our move. Funny to see another company move all your boxes.... Do yourself a favor - hire the Good Stuff!!
