The service was really good. Everything was excellent from start to finish including the movers and the scheduling.

It was nice to have an estimate on price and time. During the free estimate visit, we had a chance to ask questions in person to better prepare for the moving day as well. On the moving day, three guys showed up on time and worked very professionally. They were very efficient and strong. Nothing was broken. It was raining earlier that morning, so we asked to have mats put down on the floor and they respected our request. We piled up all the boxes in the front room for them and it took less than two hours for them to empty our two-bedroom apartment. We asked them to move in our stuff either to the basement or the living room for our new place to save time and it took them only an hour to move everything in. It was so efficient and painless, we cannot imagine moving without movers never again! Especially after hearing all the horror stories with other moving companies, we were so glad to choose Good Stuff Moving and we will definitely use them again.

The service provided by Good Stuff Moving was excellent! The four individuals that helped with my move were professional and did a great job of protecting my furniture during the move. They took the time to talk to me up front so they understood what I wanted and asked me questions during the process so everything was moved properly. Would highly recommend them!!

The movers did a great job efficiently moving our belongings from one house to another. All four of the men that moved our stuff were seemed experienced. They put a small nick in a wall moving a large item down the stairs, but gave us a slight discount because of it which was nice of them. We were very pleased with the service provided.

Excellent, excellent, excellent company from initial contact to the last item moved. I packed most of my things ahead of time into boxes but wasn't sure how to pack lamps, huge flat screen plasma TV or my expensive artwork. No problem! All was packed safely and securely and everything arrived in perfect condition. An estimate was given ahead of time by a gentleman who came to view everything and interview me ahead of time. The movers were so careful and efficient and pleasant it was unbelievable and the estimate was spot on. I highly recommend this company.

My mom had a ton of fragile knick knacks filling her two bedroom apartment. The amount of packing materials used was perfect to ensure no damage to even the most fragile antiques. Great care was taken and they were diligent in getting the job done. No time wasted. I was very thankful I used Angie's List to find these guys. Very pleased with the results!!!

Brent called to let me know they were ready early and they showed up about an hour before the scheduled time, luckily we were prepared well enough. Very efficient team, friendly and considerate. 3 movers had me loaded up and moved in 3.5 hours. Great service since the day we moved was 8 below outside. Just a couple of small items didn't make it through move, but that probably says more about my packing skills than their moving skills. Overall, I am very please!!!

The guys arrived on time, they worked diligently and took very good care of all of my furniture and boxes. We also managed to enjoy lively conversation (without distracting from the job) which made the time pass quickly. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely use Good Stuff Moving again and recommend them to my friends.

Good Stuff came and made an estimate of the cost for moving my furnishings from Savage to Sioux Falls. He was detailed and friendly, and made suggestions that ultimately made the move easier and less expensive. On the move day it was incredibly cold. The team moved quickly but carefully, and took the necessary precautions to avoid any damage to the home. They were polite, and incredibly positive given the freezing temperatures! They brought the same professionalism to delivery, and it was great to know that my furniture was in the hands of employees (not contractors) who specialized in moving. The cost was very reasonable, and the estimate was a bit higher, so I had the pleasant surprise of a lower bill! I would highly recommend them.

We contacted three moving companies to give us an estimate on moving our entire house and storage unit from Sartell to Elk River. Although Good Stuff was not the lowest estimate, we felt more confident with them and appreciated that if the move went faster we would pay less $$ since the cost was based on time. We scheduled the move and made it clear that we wanted it all to happen in a single day. Baased on that requirement, they recommended using 3 trucks and 6 guys to make the move. Shortly before the move we called Good Stuff to let them know that our house builder (we were moving into a newly constructed house) recommended that they do not drive the trucks on the driveway. So, based on that fact and steep angle of the driveway, Good Stuff added a 7th mover to the crew. They had one truck meet me at the storage unit and the other two trucks met my wife at our old house. They gave us a 45 minute window of when they would arrive and showed up in the first 15 minutes. The guys were very courteous to my wife and went through all the necessary steps to protect the doors and the stairs. They worked very well as a team and had everything loaded faster than we expected. They headed down to Elk River and after a lunch break showed up at the new house and started unloading. They took precautions to protect the new driveway from the end of the truck ramps. They used ramps over the concrete stairs and protectors on the door frames. All of the boxes that we packed were marked and color-coded according to which room they were going into. This helped keep everything moving quickly and the guys worked hard to make sure the boxes got to the right place. We were amazed at how well everything went. We had some large furniture going into the basement and the guys were able to get it down without any damage to the walls or door frame. When all was said and done, there might have been a scuff or two on the walls, but in the days that followed, my wife and I have added about 10 times as many scuffs to the wall so it was not an issue. We had a new hutch going onto a hardwood floor. One of the guys noticed that it was going in front of a fresh air return and recommended that we had pads under the legs to protect the floor and allow us to slide it away from the wall easily to clean the fresh air return. We told him that we had the pads so they put the pads on the hutch for us before putting it into place. They finished right on time and right on budget. We could not be happier with the service provided by the crew. You could tell that they knew what they were doing and cared about the belongings and the houses. I have only one regret regarding the process: we moved from a tri-level with a crawl space to a 2-story with a full basement. I wound up marking way too many boxes for the garage they could have and should have really gone to the basement. A couple of the guys realized this and offered to start taking stuff into the basement, but since we wanted to keep it on budget we told them not to worry about it. But I appreciated that they were more than willing to move some items twice if it would make us happy. All in all it was worth every penny and I don't think it could have gone any better!

We started with the call to Good Stuff arranging for Matt to evaluate the move. We scheduled them to arrive at 7:30 AM. Prompotly at 7:30 the crew showed up. Chris did the walk through while Zack and Terry set up the truck and started laying floor covering down. They were very professional, courteous , and efficient. They loaded the trucks after wrapping furniture in plastic or tarps and bagging the mattresses. They move efficiently throughout the house carrying items to the truck. They left then stored the furniture for a day. They delivered and unloaded on Saturday as scheduled. Coldest day of the year so far. They again laid floor protection down and proceeded to unload. Chris, Zack, and Joe did the delivery and unload service. Good Stuff Movers did a fantastic job for us and I'd recommend them to anyone. The are efficient, friendly, careful with all our items, and very professional. Couldn't have asked for better.

Good Stuff provided a free estimate (which ended up being spot on) and free boxes, which decreased the pre-moving stress. When the day arrived, they were efficient, professional, and careful. Everything went smoothly, and the job they did was well worth the cost.

The move went well: done without breakage or marks on the goods, packed efficiently within their large truck, and placed in the home according to our ad hoc instructions. Key to our satisfaction was the owner's initiative during the day to add additional movers to the job, at a reduced hourly cost. This was key to getting the work done within an 8 hour period (approx) vs. having the initial 2-man crew work well into the evening, or the work to be somehow broken up into the next day. We had about 65% of our items packed in our own boxes. The movers also supplied rolling carts/tubs for our use for odd-shaped items. The movers supplied all moving equipment, labor, and their own large truck. They were bonded and insured. Furthermore, toward the end of the work day, two more movers were added at NO COST for the last 1 - 2 hours, just to ensure that the job would get done. This is, in my experience, an unusual level of customer service and efficiency: the movers/the owner had under-estimated the job and made some incorrect assumptions on the scope of the work, but I too had not been clear enough in describing the job over the phone to him, I now feel in retrospect. So I felt the owner's initiative during the day to get the job done, at reasonable additional cost to me for two more add'l movers, was fair and above the call of duty. His no cost end-of-day call out to his area-wide available labor was his unannounced decision, but appreciated by me and probably by his guys-- they started the day at 7:30 am. Last point: the movers offered to put down plastic in our move-in home's walkways. We had just shampooed the carpets, so this was well appreciated (other firms we have used have even mentioned this as a possibility, and this was done at now add'l cost other than the time req'd by the movers to lay down the plastic sheathing).

Everyone we spoke to was professional and helpful. Fantastic experience overall. One of the best customer service experiences we've ever had with a company. When I called initially for an estimate, it was scheduled quickly. Really appreciated the fact that Matt came to our house (a story and a half home) and did a walk-through prior to the move so that we'd have an accurate estimate. Matt encouraged me to take advantage of the boxes that Angie's List members may use free of charge (as long as they're returned). Matt's attention to detail made me feel confident that Good Stuff was the right company to choose. After reviewing the estimate, I called Matt to schedule our move and he emailed a confirmation shortly afterward. Their office is open on Mondays and Fridays for box pick-up and return. My husband picked up boxes on two occasions and staff helped him load boxes and made suggestions for the appropriate sized boxes for various items. On moving day, the three-man crew arrived on time despite the traffic snarls due to the first major snow of the season. The team was careful, efficient and cheerful despite the fact that it was snowing, raining and sleeting all day. They communicated well and brought any concerns to my attention immediately (example: they were concerned that our particleboard computer desk may not disassemble, move and reassemble well--the desk ended up arriving in fine shape). A couple hours into the move, Brent, the scheduler/manager called to ensure the move was progressing well and inquiring if I'd be interested in having an additional crew and truck enlisted for a reduced rate. This may sound like they were just trying to pad the bill--but that was not the reason for Brent's offer. The snow/sleet/rain brought traffic throughout the Twin Cities to a standstill-there was a good chance the truck could end up stuck in rush-hour traffic, putting us hours behind in unloading and unpacking. In the end, the original crew was able to load the truck quickly and was done unloading in the early afternoon. (Note that we moved small boxes the previous day to save time and money. Also, with the exception of some items in the garage, we were completely packed up) All of our items arrived undamaged. Because of their efficiency, we had the entire afternoon to unpack and start enjoying our new home.

This was my second move with Good Stuff. Goose (the onsite supervisor) remembered me from about 2 years prior. Our stuff was in 2 locations-a 1600 sq ft condo (on the 9th floor of a DT condo) + 2 storage rooms. We moved into a much bigger house a few miles away. We scheduled one 27ft truck and 3 guys. As they got into packing, it became clear that we would need to add an additional truck if we were to have any chance of moving the 2nd store room. Later GS asked to add several additional mover people-in order to complete our move in one day (730a-430p). I believe it all got done as quickly as possible-without any damage to our stuff. Goose and Brent were nice. Moving is such a trauma, thanks Good Stuff.

After trying to get an accurate quote from many moving companies- I called Good Stuff Moving. The person who answered was extremely helpful, and could tell I was stressed from many of the other calls I had made. They suggested that a sales rep come to the house, give an accurate quote, discuss how to pack, and see what special needs I had. Matt Lovett came and was extremely helpful, friendly, and down to earth. Having never used a moving company before- he sold it for me. He also stated that this company offers "seasonal" discounts and the like that most others do not. His quote came in far below the competitors- and we received free moving boxes due to an Angies list referral. Our house was 3000 sq feet, and FULL. On 10/14 we had 3 men come with 2 trucks. They were efficient and friendly. However, the 2 trucks could not take it all, and we had to move some things to our in-laws ourselves. The following day, we started out with 3 men, and after 2 hours, we had 8. The move in only lasted 4 hours then. All were having a good time- and they did their best to get our furniture where we wanted it. (a bed frame would not fit down a stairwell...) They even sought me out to find out where my dining room furniture should be placed, as they didn't think my husbands ideas were going to work! It was such a good crew! I returned my boxes the other day, and again, the employee I returned them to was helpful in getting them out of my car and very pleasant. I asked him if he wanted to count the boxes I was returning- as I really din't want to pay for any I had missed and had a few more weeks to the deadline. The response I got was "I trust you- it's ok." Overall, it seems as though all the employees at Good Stuff Moving like their work and their employer. They made it seem like a "small town" operation and we truly appreciated our experience. Thank you.

Loading went well. Unloading was slow and bedframe was scratched

This is a quality moving company from start to finish. When I called for an estimate, I received a very complete explanation of their fees and received an immediate email confirmation. I liked the fact that they don't begin charging time until they arrive at your door and end when they leave your door, unlike some other companies who bill time from when they leave their shop until they arrive back at their shop. Good Stuff does add in 30 minutes, which I was told up front, and have a minimum two hour billing. Their hourly rate was less than others I checked. They arrived promptly (in fact, they were a little early. ). The team of Brian and Nick worked efficiently and carefully and they were very polite and pleasant. I would definitely hire this company again for local moves.

From the beginning they were great. They were flexible with the date and agreed to call me with any cancellations, which ended up happening and they moved us a week ahead of time. They were on time, took great care with our belongings (some of which were not neatly packed in the storage unit), and got them to our home. Outside of our driveway, the truck got stuck in the mud (a new road is being constructed). They handled the stress well... allowing the earth movers to tow them out. Not one complaint from the staff. Very professional. I will use them for any future move!!

I have never used a moving company before but I must say I would never move without them again! They were very easy to work with, I could pop in an out anytime for boxes and everyone I met was incredibly nice. They showed up on time, were very accommodating and did not break a single thing!! It was super slick and made our move inceredibly easy. I highly recommend them!
