Description of Work: Our computer stopped functioning. They came promptly to pick it up and attempt to fix it. We received a call back almost immediately that the computer could not be repaired. The mother board was "fried," and therefore getting any information transferred would be impossible or very expensive. They recommended a reliable store to replace our computer where we very satisfied. They then refunded our original cost for repair (very reasonable) because they ended up not being able to repair the computer. The refund was also prompt. They then offered to melt down and recycle it. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: HOLY COW! I'm never calling Geek Squad again!! I run a virtual business from a home office and we were in the middle of a couple of big business deals. I tried powering up my Dell computer this morning after working late last night and my computer wouldn't work. It was frozen in the middle of the power-up state. Nothing would work. I powered down, powered up, removed the battery, tried multiple approaches to getting it going. Nothing was working and I had the legal team on the other phone wondering when we could review the latest revision of the business agreements that had just come into e-mail (that I couldn't get to).There was going to be panic shortly! I'd used Geek Squad in the past but was getting tired of their continual upsell approach, declining tech support capabilities and increasing costs. They used to be great but I didn't want to get stuck in their queue, and be without my computer (that I realy needed!) for multiple days while I waited for someone to work on it. They weren't as good as they used to be and given that I needed help right away I decided to look around for alternatives. I signed into Angies List, searched under computer repair and found Delta End at the top of the list. I read a couple of their reviews and they looked pretty good so I decided to take a chance given my immediate need. I called and Dave answered the phone. Wow. I didn't expect that. I related the problem I was having and he knew immediately what it was....I mean he knew immediately. I'm in the technology industry so I can tell when a guy knows his stuff...and Dave is one of those very few guys that absolutely knows his stuff. Dave walked me through the steps and my system was up and running inside of five minutes of my initially placing the call. (Remember the Geek Squad guys....they would have had my system in their shop for at least 2 - 3 days, if not longer). I told Dave that he hadn't even gotten all the details yet that most firms have to collect before even acknowledging that the caller has a problem that needs fixing. Dave said "no worries...if we get you up and running inside of 10 minutes I won't charge you anything". My god...when is the last time you heard a business say that?? True to his word, I was up and running inside of 10 minutes, I'm back in the game and the business deals are moving forward. I'm indebted to Dave and his team for getting my back running again. I can't recall ever having an internal IT department that was anywhere close to what Dave and his team delivers....very knowledgeable, super responsive and friendly. Sorry Geek Squad...I'm using Dave and his team at Delta End from here on for all our IT needs. There's simply no comparison.

Description of Work: Dave [of Delta End 763-390-0419] arranged right away to do a remote analysis of my buggy desk-top computer, and later came to my house to bring some cables that needed to be replaced. He was interested in the problem, complete in his analysis, and explained it to me, including options. His manner is intelligent, professional, and refreshing. I think he really enjoys his work, and is fully engaged in it, and up on the latest options, hardware and software. I used a Bid Deal coupon. I was very happy with his work, so I bought another coupon, and gave him my laptop that ran so slowly I could hardly use it. Within a day or two, he brought it back, refreshed and up to speed, it just had software conflicts developed over time. I am delighted, and plan to use his company in the future for all the computer woes in my small business.

Description of Work: I have used Delta End Inc services for several years and can highly recommend their services. They have assisted us with network set-up, server set-up and maintenance, Sharepoint development, mobile computing support, and most recently with building a new website. They are very responsive and can be reached after the normal business day ends! We recently installed a new firewall, custom built, that has huge flexibility in customized settings and control of inbound and outbound traffic. I own and operate a small business that provides services on-site at our client facilities. We have used other IT companies in the past, with less than expected results. Delta End Inc is our IT services company of choice, the only company we plan to use.
