They called 20 to 25 minutes ahead of time and said they could come early, if we wanted them to. That worked great for us. The individual was very professional and showed me what he was doing and made some suggestions to me. He showed me what came out of the ducts (had been five years since last cleaned) and I could tell the difference after he was done. I was pleased with work, communication throughout the process and suggestions made.

First of all, I was told fireplace and chimney cleaning is not their expertise. Furnace and duct cleaning is their main offering and expertise. I did not know this when I hired them. With this being said, they did a mediocre job of cleaning my fireplace chimney, probably worth the $69. But not at all what you would expect from a real chimney sweep for which you would probably pay more. While the worker was suppose to be cleaning the chimney he checked my furnace duct work, without my knowledge, and then later tried to sell me that service. Bait and switch, maybe. I had checked on his progress during one of his trips to his truck and found a vacuum running near the fireplace but nothing else going on. The job took less than a half hour and the worker had returned to his truck at least two times during this time. After the "cleaning" was completed I checked the chimney and still saw ash and didn't feel it was as clean as I expected. I now know to hire a certified chimney sweep to have the job done correctly. I would not recommend them for fireplace chimney cleaning.

The crew was punctual and cleaned up after sweeping the chimey. They found a small piece of the flue seal that became dislodged during the chimney cleaning. They recommended to have a test paper fire or small fire to determine if the piece that became dislodged caused any leaks; they clearly stated they didn't perform repairs. I got the inspection I wanted at a good price.

This provider was very responsive, scheduled on my requested day. Called prior to their arrival, and was able to come a little earlier than my appointment time which was great for my schedule. Work was done efficiently and respectfully of my home, no mess. Nick was very pleasant and gave me some great tips on how to use the thermostat fan for improving heat and air conditioning temperature control in my two story house. Will be trying those tips as the weather gets warmer here soon! Very fair price with discounts provided on Angie/s list. Recommend this provider and I will use again.

Provider showed up on time, was courteous and neat (wore plastic covers over shoes), and explained job as he was working. He cleaned up any dust and soot afterwards.

We needed to have our heat/AC ducts and furnace cleaned after an extensive remodeling project (and knowledge there hadn't been a cleaning in at least 15 years). We were able to buy the Angie's List special, schedule an appointment reasonably soon, and get the job done well. We anticipated the job might need the more thorough brush-cleaning, but the added cost was in line with what market prices are.

He made an initial call to assess the chimney situation, and made a thorough inspection. Then he swept it out. He spoke with us at length about the process and his findings. He was very friendly, professional and knew his job well.

My wife was home when the service was performed and she said it went really well. The gentleman doing the service was very nice and informative. He suggested we look into getting some things done in the future but didn't push to do any upsells. Overall she was very happy with the service.
