Description of Work: Cleaned chimney & checked for possible bird in the chimney. Retuned to replace chimney caps which were missing. Everything thing went well.

Description of Work: I had scheduled air duct cleaning. While here, at my request, he also checked the furnace, the Venmar air exchange and the air conditioners. I learned more about these large components responsible for normal home maintenance, and their care than in the 19 years we've lived here. That would include previous service calls from other vendors. Our service provider was Nick and he was so professional and knowledgeable, that I took notes to help us maintain these units!

Description of Work: As explained in the deal we purchased, TCF came and cleaned our chimneys (we have 2, small additional cost for the second). They were prompt, professional, and left the area around the fireplace as clean as it started. It was fantastic to be able to know that our chimneys were ready for the bitter cold winter!

Description of Work: They did not show up on time and, although we had taken time off from work, they kept us waiting. They claimed they had the correct time, however. They also tried to sell us a vent cleaning service that we did not want.

Description of Work: I initially arranged for a chimney sweep to clean my fireplace using a special offer found on Angie's List. I decided to add a thorough duct cleaning for my house, a furnace cleaning, and a cap for my chimney because none of this had been done in many years and the company had a good rating. The two men who performed the cleanings came on time and quickly cleaned! They were courteous and knowledgeable. i will use them again!

Description of Work: Cleaned furnace vents in my home. The vents had never been cleaned. The service person recommended an upgrade to a more thorough cleaning using a brush to "scrub" the vents. I agreed to the additional service. The cleaning was performed without mess or fuss.

Description of Work: Had dryer vent cleaned. Dane Kramer was prompt in contacting me about an appointment and accommodating in the time to come. Kris, the technician, called when he was leaving his previous appt. to tell me he was on the way. He was knowledgeable about what he was doing and was able to do it with a lot less hassle than the last time I had it done. It was raining when he came and we talked about him having to go out in it. I mentioned that I didn't even want to go out to get my mail. When he finished cleaning the vent from the outside he brought me the mail. I appreciate the extra thoughtfulness .

Description of Work: We originally purchased the $99 air duct cleaning. A really nice and professional worker came out and cleaned all of the vents. He also offered to clean the furnace and the dryer for a reasonable fee. He was very knowledgeable and kind. We feel great knowing that our vents, dryer, and furnace have been thoroughly cleaned and plan on using them again every couple of years.
