Sebastians Carpet Care

Nathan called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and showed up with a smile on his face. He is proud of his business and it's clear he loves his work. After having a different company come out last year from a deal on Groupon, Nathan's work was heads above the rest. That company said they removed the stains, but I was very disappointed about what they left behind - contacting the owner didn't change anything. Nathan got out all stains they did not, including many, many new urine stains from a puppy while I wasn't looking over the past year. He believes in educating the customer and I learned about vinegar, the effects of enzyme pet sprays, and how carpets can "scratched" over time. Despite major scratching in a high-traffic area from the kitchen to the family room (that no one else had been able to get out), he was able to get out almost all the dirt and stain there. There were only 2 small spots of urine that were burned in, but they were out of view and the disparate color is not even noticeable unless you go looking for it. What makes Nathan different from other carpet cleaners we've had? He didn't just try to apply some proprietary stain remover and wet vac it up, he applied his stain remover, a cloth on top, and sat through each one to steam them out. It obviously worked - our carpet looks amazing.

We have used Sebastian's numerous times.Nathan and his guys are excellent and really knowledgeable about their work. They'e worked wonders with some of our pet and kid-related stains. The carpets always look great after they're done.

I've used Sebastian's several times, and it always does good work. They arrive on time, are very respectful of the house, and have no issues returning for follow up work if necessary.

T.C. was prompt (early, actually, with our permission) and professional. He explained what the service covered and how stains could require additional work and cost. He was honest about what stains could be corrected and how it would look, we ended up just leaving the few spots that he couldn't get with some hard work during the cleaning (our 22-year-old carpets had only been cleaned once, so he had to work hard!). He was here about 3 hours and gave us some good tips on treating stains in the future, along with a referral to a carpet source with a discount under their account if we decide to replace carpeting in the future. The carpets looked great when he was done, like new, really. We were very satisfied with the result and the cost was reasonable.

Booking an appointment was very easy, and several times were available the same week. During the day of the appointment, Nathan was running a bit late but called several times to keep me posted. In the end he was only about 10 minutes but still apologized, which was not at all necessary. Nathan took a look at the carpet and the stains, then quoted an incredibly reasonable price. He brought in some special cleaners and equipment to treat the stains. I believe he said he found both dog urine and coffee stains and was able to remove them all completely. He then proceeded to steam clean the carpets. His equipment is pretty impressive and is completely self-contained in his van. He said that he cleans with the water heated to about 290 degrees, and he does a very thorough job. He stopped a few times to show me just how deep the dirt was on the carpet, and also how he works with his gear to break out all of the dirt and clean the carpet nap completely. The results are extremely impressive. The old carpet looks almost new, it looks and smell great, and the nap is soft and fluffy again. I am very happy with the work that was done and the price that I paid. I will be calling Nathan again to clean our (expensive) American made furniture and our area rugs.

This could not have turned out better. Nathan arrived on time, polite, professional and friendly as can be, with all the necessary cleaning equipment. The two dog vomit stains weren't huge, but on a light beige rug they were two terribly ugly bright yellow patches that ruined the look of the whole rug. They were tough stains because they had been sitting there for approximately a week. I know pigmented stains are harder to get out than more neutral colored ones, so it didn't look good at first. I don't remember how long Nathan was working on the rug, but he seemd to be done surprisingly fast. And the stain is COMPLETELY gone! I couldn't believe my eyes. Excellent job, so quick and so professional and the price is the best I've come across. I used to use American Rug Cleaners, whom are grosely overprized. But I will be calling Nathan for all our future furniture and carpet care. A+

I don't know about price because I did not really check around but the quality was good.

The cleaner did an excellent job. A few areas needed special attention due to accidents caused by an ill dog. Cleaner used a black light to find all impacted areas for special treatment. He explained his overall plan for the cleaning and advised on spot removal and other items to maintain highest level of care for the carpet in the future. Carpets were like new when cleaning was complete and carpets were dry.

The process went very well. Price was reasonable, cleaner arrived on time and worked hard, and cleaned up after work. He answered all my questions, gave good advice about pet accidents, and was very pleasant and trustworthy. I will hire them to clean my carpets again this summer.

Easy to reach and schedule. I needed to leave special instructions because I'd be at work when they arrived and it all worked out. The work was done very well. TC is professional and friendly. I have used this company for years and continue to be satisfied with the results. I am so happy to see that Nate has taken over the business and is keeping it going at Bob's standards.

I would highly recommend Sebastian's. They were great to work with, on-time, did a great job at an extremely affordable price, and didn't try to upsell us on additional products or services.

The arm of our couch needed cleaning, and the upholstery material had been discontinued . Our dog had urinated on the seat cushion and back cushion, but we didn't see him do it. So we were worried about whether it had seeped onto the arm of the couch as well. We replaced the cushions and were able to launder the cushion covers with non-irritating, green cleaners. But we didn't know what to do about the arm. The manufacturer had warned us we might have to get the whole couch re-upholstered. We couldn't afford to do that. So we looked on Angie's list and found Sebastian's carpet and upholstery cleaners. Even though we knew, and they warned us, that they couldn't guarantee getting it totally clean, they were willing to come out and give it a try. The technician was TC Sebastian and he did a great job from beginning to end. He called ahead and arrived right on time - gold star #1. Then, he listened and looked carefully before thoroughly explaining what the options were - gold star #2. He had a special light that would show if any urine were in the arm. It didn't show any signs of urine, but he was still willing to clean the spot and actually inject it with the non-toxic, natural disinfectant made from Thyme that they use - gold star #3. He also injected extra disinfectant where I requested it just for good measure. And his promise that it would be dry and ready in two hours was correct - gold star #4. After a few days, I realized I had told him to put too much disinfectant in, so I called them back. TC came back the SAME DAY I called and rinsed off the excess disinfectant that I had made the mistake of asking for - gold star #5! Talk about easy to work with. I am so happy to have my couch back to fully functional, clean, non-toxic, and no overwhelming smell for a fraction of the cost of re-upholstering it! Thank you, Sebastian's

We have been using their carpet cleaning services for many years and have been very happy. They do a good job for a reasonable price and are very professional.

The person doing the work was very methodical, thorough, and very pleasant. The carpets dried within a few hours and look great! I will call them the next time we need our carpets cleaned. We had a very positive experience.

The team (Nathan) showed up on time and brought in their equipment. They got many stains out, but explained that they were unable to remove a rust stain.

We just moved to Minnesota so I checked on Angie's list for help in choosing a good carpet cleaning company. I amVERY pleased I chose Sebastian's Carpet Care. TC Called to tell me he was running ahead of schedule and asked when would be a good time for him to arrive? When he arrived we walked through the house and I pointed out various small spots that might or might not come out with cleaning. I had moved the furniture to the side of the living room and dining room and just asked him to clean the exposed carpet so he said he would give me a good rate. He gave me a quote which I thought was VERY reasonable. I have always done my own carpets but probably will never do them again myself because he got them so much cleaner,I didn't have to do anything with water or mixing ingredients,my back doesn't hurt, and he gave me tips on carpet care as well as suggesting the type of carpet I might like and why. My carpets look like new!!!! Do not hesitate to use this company. I will use them again.

They are punctual, very gentle with the carpets and excellent with removing pet stains. I can't imagine using anyone else to clean our carpets. They make the carpets look like new.

They were good. The cleaner was very professional. Even though I wasn't around, he cleaned each and every corner. He helped me to take the furniture away and he put something under the feet of heavy furniture which couldn't be moved so the carpet does not get spoiled.
