Sebastians Carpet Care

Bob is a wizard at fixing spots on carpet. He really knows his stuff--he's a master carpet dyer, and a real perfectionist. He is also very prompt, businesslike, and responsive. He made some really tough bleach spots on a dark green carpet totally disappear like magic. Amazing!

They came within a hour of being called, described what they would do and what the cost would be, which was very reasonable. When we said yes, they set to work immediately. Within a couple hours, all excess water sucked out, the basement was cleared out and dryers were blowing. After a few days of drying, they came back in and refastened the carpet, and cleaned areas we wanted extra attention paid to. We were very impressed, and they seemed to really care about their customers.

The carpet in our home is 23 years old and had not been cleaned for several years. I called Sebastian's for an over the phone estimate and decided to go ahead and schedule the work for the following week. Because of the very light color and age of our carpet, I was less than optimistic about the prospects of getting it clean. But the results were great - the carpet looks fantastic, and the bill for the work was less than the phone estimate. We would definitely recommend Sebastian's Carpet Care.

They did a nice job. It was a very thorough job and it was a good value. They were polite and friendly.

They were very pleasant and professional while we were working together. They did a good job with the spot treatments and they got all of the stains and spots out.

Bob came out himself the day I called to give an estimate. The man he sent came at the appointed time and finished within the estimated time. The carpet is light colored and it looks brand new. I am telling all my friends about them.

The day went very well - I had taken the day off work and received a call asking if I was available for them to come early, which was great! Overall the cost was slightly less than estimated, as they didn't need to use all the pet odor chemical as previously thought. Our carpets look great!

Nathan was excellent. He called in advance to say he was on his way and arrived right on time. He provided information about what his cleaning process was. He removed some minor stains that had been there awhile so I wasn't expecting they could necessaily be removed. He clearly knows the "science" of carpet cleaning. The carpet hadn't been cleaned in many years and it looks great.

This was by far the best carpet cleaning we have ever had. Nathan spent a lot of time removing all the spots in the carpet, including one spot that two previous companies had been unable to remove. In addition, the carpet was much drier when he finished than when previous companies had cleaned the carpet. The carpets have also stayed cleaner for longer than in the past. In addition, Nathan was prompt and very professional.

Since this was our first "professional" carpet cleaning, I believe it went very well. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. Showed up on time, cleaned the carpet, didn't make a mess, and left. The carpet looks like new again (6 years old).

I called to schedule an appt with Sebastians by speaking with Bob around the end of June. The phones were really busy, but Bob called me back within just a few minutes. I described my pet problem to him (see above) and he told me what Sebastians could do and what they realistically might not be able to do. We agreed on a date after the 4th of July (based on my schedule). Bob quoted me an approx price based on square footage, letting me know it could be more based on how much they had to do to treat the pet odor. Kyle arrived a few minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time. I asked him if he thought it would be easier to run his equipment in through the lower level walkout. He agreed, but also explained that the hot water running through the hoses could leave some temporary burn areas on the lawn. Since I live in a townhouse community, I thought it was good of him to warn me about that. (turns out the damage was minimal and has already grown out). Kyle examined the areas of greatest concern, and even got down on his hands and knees, sniffing along the baseboards to identify the "problem" areas. He spent about two hours working on the rug, and even pulled up the worst areas, cleaning the backside of the carpet where needed. I wasn't expecting miracles, but it appears that 3 weeks later, the cat(s) are no longer going outside their litter boxes on the carpet Apparently Kyle was able to remove much of the previous damage. I am thrilled that at least for now I will not have to replace the carpeting. This has saved me a lot of money at a time when job security is an oxymoron. Kyle propped the large furniture pieces up on foam blocks, and suggested the furniture which had been moved out of the room not be moved back in till the carpet was dry (in about 24 hrs). The carpet feels soft and clean and doesn't have that sticky feel that some services leave behind. I will definitely be using Sebastians to clean carpet in other areas of my home. Just an additional note: Just prior to his arrival, I had picked up five bags of water softener salt. I hadn't had a chance to move them from the walkout to the mechanicals room, and the first thing Kyle did was offer to help move them where they needed to go. Gold star for being a really nice guy and for doing an exceptional job!

Nathan toured the home and inspected the ares needing cleaning. He talked to me about the process, materials used and answered questions I didn't know I had. He gave me an estimate aonce I agreed he got right to work. He worked top to bottom and the carpet was practically dry by the time he left. When he was done we reinspected the areas to ensure satisfaction.

The quality of their work was good, and they were responsive. I called them at the last minute, and they worked me into their schedule. The person that cleaned the carpets was very good and very friendly. Overall, I have had a good experience with them.

I called for a quote on Thursday. Bob was available and showed up early on Monday evening. He was cordial, friendly and a pet lover. Quote was delivered quickly and expertly and work was scheduled for a little over a week later (because of my schedule, not theirs). The whole team is trustworthy enough ? I left the doors open and they cleaned the carpets while I was at work. Nathan called on his way to the house and we spoke several times that day. He went into great detail about the work he did and was professional and polite. When I got home, I saw a miracle. The carpet I was sure I would have to replace only four years after installing was like new. The deodorizing treatment had taken any pet smells out of the air, the carpet was plush and the stains were all removed. It was recommended I wait 24 hours to put wood furniture back. I?m so pleased with the service, I?ve recommended them to everyone I know. Bob and Nathan were so pleasant and knowledgeable. They gave me tips on removing stains in the future and how to treat carpet. The carpet is so beautiful, I?ll definitely clean the recommended annual cleaning! It?s also very nice to have trustworthy contractors that can be trusted to do the work while you?re not at home, giving you the flexibility to choose to go to work or stay at home for the service.

This is a excellent company! Nathan is so thorough and takes the time and effort to make everything 100%. We had many stains that needed to be treated, but he had another job that afternoon that he didn't want to be late to....so he came back the next morning (on his day off!) to treat the areas. I felt badly that he had to take personal time to come back, but he sincerly was so willing to do so it was amazing -I think he even said it was his pleasure. The carpet looks like new all the stains came out. I can't give enough praise to Nathan - he is pleasant, professsional, honest, hardworking and has a genuine desire to make each customer completely satisfied.

i called them to clean 4 bedrooms, family room, living room and two sets of stairs. I had some dog stains and spill stains. Nate went thourgh the house and treated all of the stains. All came out except for some of the dog stains. Nate gave me information on how to treat any further stains without using commerical cemicals. Nate was very informative and did a great job.

Our toddler spilled fingernail polish on our beige pile carpet and cotton upholstered sofa. We also had diaper cream smudged into the carpet in two places and a small mascara spot. The fingernail polish spots looked terrible. I called Sebastian's - initially we set an appointment for 2 weeks out, but another customer cancelled and an appointment opened up the same day. Kyle came by, looked at the spots and started to work. An hour later the fingernail polish spots are gone completely. The diaper cream didn't come up completely, but is much better. The mascara spot is gone completely. I'm happy with the result.

My carpets are 14 years old and they look like brand new. Everything was in the truck and they ran a tube to my house. There was no odor and they dried within an hour. They look gorgeous. I called 4 people and they were the cheapest. They were very friendly. They came out within a few days. They were very professional. I would highly recommend them.

Bob at Sebastian?s gave us a general estimate based on my email. He told us they don?t move dressers or large furniture because some of those items have actually fallen apart on them before. We emptied our downstairs rooms to make it easier to see what they could do. Nathan arrived on time in a clean white van with some serious-looking carpet cleaning machinery inside. His written estimate was pretty much right on so he got to work. Sebastian?s uses truck-mounted equipment but Nathan had no trouble reaching the rooms and stairway on the far side of our house. I was impressed with the equipment. It looked new, the hoses and lines were clean. The cleaning solution was hot; the suction at the cleaning head was remarkable. One of the downstairs bedrooms has white carpet and the 32-foot hallway takes all the traffic from the garage entry to the stairway. We were ready to replace the carpet if the cleaning couldn?t make it presentable. The results were amazing. I know that?s an overused term, but it fits here. Nathan also used a dye-transfer process to take out 2 stains (coffee?) on the stairway. Years earlier I worked on these unsuccessfully using a wet/dry shop vac and spot remover. Today I can?t even find the stairs that had the spots. We scheduled the upstairs work for 2 weeks later. Nathan called ahead that day and apologized for being a half-hour late (!). His written quote was somewhat higher than the phone estimate. We found that upholstery takes more time because the cleaning head is only about 3-inches wide. It?s a lot of (tedious) handwork. The sectional sofa and love seats amounted to almost half the total estimate. Nathan arrived at 1PM and stayed until almost 8PM. That wasn?t a problem for us but we all knew there was a lot of work. He had wanted 2 trucks to shorten the time but everyone was booked that day. On the plus side, our house was the only job scheduled for him that afternoon. Nathan worked like a machine. He went over every square inch of those sofas, and I mean that literally. He cleaned right up next to all the baseboards and set all the sofas and two tables we didn?t move on little plastic squares so the carpet wouldn?t get stained while drying. I watched him work over the wool entry rug by hand. It was like he was peeling off a layer of grey plastic with every stroke. The colors just popped. Again, amazing. The carpets were dry by the next afternoon and we started moving stuff back in. It was a lot of work, but it?s like a new house now. Our 10-year old sectional sofa looks like it was delivered yesterday. Nathan was happy to explain what he was doing and why, and explained some of the science. It lined up with my research. He says he likes to clean carpets like he?s the one who?s going to live on them. That may sound a little corny, but he actually delivers. Now I know why Sebastian?s has such high ratings on Angie?s. They earned ?em. I?m happy to add mine.

I think that the workers at Sebastian's do a very good job. They are very knowledgeable and they have great experience. They are very mindful. They are clean and efficient. They are very friendly guys.

Nate arrived early and did a fabulous job. I had used a blacklight and tried to mark all the sport that needed extra treatement. Our son and DIL had lived with us for about six months and they have a cat who decided to stop using her littler box. We had many areas that needed extra treatment.. Nate decided to treat all the carpet with the urine treatment and I couldn't be happier. Our carpet is clean, our house doesn't smell like cat pee anymore and Nate was a pleasure to work with. He is a hard worker, is quick and thorough and answered all my questions. I will always use Sebastians and recommend them to family and friends.

Bob fit us into their schedule and the technician called to meet us at the house. He asked which areas we were most concerned about and proceeded to get to work. The lower level carpets had had multiple pet issues and he was able to get them very clean. I was extremely pleased. He even agreed to try to clean a room where we were going to throw the carpet because of so many stains. The carpet turned out great and we will keep it where it is.
