They were good. I got them to move large furniture pieces for me. They were pretty fast packing stuff up which was nice because they charge by the hour so it was nice of them to get it done as quickly as possible. They wrapped up all my furniture with protective coverings. They were pretty nice guys.

Quality Moving was 1.5 hours late and it took us calling 3 times to get a response. When they showed up they did move fast but did not have a piano belt or cart so it took a few guys to move it. At the new house 10 miles away 1 of the two trucks showed up because the other ran out of gas and had to wait until someone from their office could come with gas. When moving the piano into the new house they dropped it on the new hardwood steps and broke the handrail. After they made it up the small set of steps they put it down on the wood floor and started to roll it denting and scratching the wood floor for about 10 feet. Before the guys left I had them write down on the invoice that the damage the wood floor while moving the piano. I heard from the owner (Dave) a few times since saying that he's working on finding someone to fix the floor. I've offered several times for him to come over to see the damage for himself, sometimes he's said he would but he never showed up, other times he has said he's just to busy to make it out. (June 28, 2013 move in date. It is now October 15,2013) All moving companies run into issues, but it's the lack of following through with customer satisfaction that makes me say stay away from Quality Moving & Storage Of Edina & Hudson. UPDATE !! Do to the following email I felt I had better share. I had forgotten to update my review so I'm guessing that this is why I received it. It took a while but the floor was fixed with the settlement money we received. "To Nick Johnson, Last October 15th you gave our company very negative review on Angies's List web site. Some of what you reported was accurate, much was not or was incomplete. I remember well a conversation you and I had very shortly after your move. Your were highly complimentary about the performance of our workers and their work ethic and politeness. We also discussed the floor damage. From that point on I can truthfully state that I made multiple calls, attempts and in person visits to people all over the metro to comply with your request to repair the floor. You told me that an entire floor redo was unnecessary. I had a flooring company make attempts to look at your floor, only to have you tell me that you found on the "almighty, better than God internet" that the company had been "blacklisted". You stated in your review that I said that I was "to busy" to come and inspect your floor. I can assure you Mr Johnson that in my entire life I have NEVER uttered the words that I am too busy, it is simply not me. That said was there a question as to your honesty ? I do not need to look at your floor, I am not a wood floor repairman. When you told me your wood floor was damaged I believed you, Why would I doubt that. I will say that the the process lingered on too long. However, we did not run from you nor ignore you and I am sure the damaged wood floor was not an inconvenience in your daily activities. Bottom line your floor was repaired or at least I think so based on the Acuity insurance settlement, but I would not know that as you refuse to pick-up or return my numerous calls and messages left with you. Perhaps your finger pointing about "to busy" or not responding fits you better. We are respectfully asking you to remove your report from Angie's List. They came on time and were very professional. They didn't waste any time. They were excellent.

After I made the purchase online, the company called her the next day, set a date and appeared on time. They were very fast, and moved all her things to her satisfaction. She said that the actual movers were friendly and cooperative.

Guys that showed up were great to work with - they worked fast, were careful with our stuff, wrapped our big pieces very well (better than I've seen done by several other companies), and everything arrived safely. I would use them again.

The movers showed up on time, did an excellent job in wrapping all items, and delivered and set up all items.

Read above. They should have their prices set, AND be willing to come and look. Customers want to know how long you think a move should take-- so they know what the estimated total bill will be. It is not satisfactory to simply give an hourly rate and call it good. You may easily have the laziest employees around- and they'd drag the move out and out increasing the bill. Very poor.

We called the 3 highest rated movers on Angie's List to get estimates for an upcoming move. One of them said they were booked, another came out and gave an estimate, and the 3rd one (Quality Moving) setup a time to come out for an estimate but did not show up for it. I got the impression that Quality was real busy and didn't need the business. We had found a moving date that was agreeable to them and us for the move, and after that they agreed to come out to give an estimate, but they did not show up at the scheduled time (and we were there hours before and after the scheduled time), and they did not call to cancel. Over the phone they did give out pricing info and their pricing was in line with the other movers. Based on other reviews it seems like they usually do a very good job, but are maybe just very busy this time of year and lost track of the scheduling. Since we had their estimate back to back with another one, and the other one did show up on time, we ended up picking the other one for our move. And we did indeed have an appointment for an estimate on 9/19 at 9:30AM that Quality did not show up for. We were not too surprised, since at the time we talked on the phone it seemed like the gentleman was distracted with other things and was pushing hard for us to just sign up without having an on-site estimate done. He did agree to send someone out at the stated time though, but no one ever showed up. I believe he was turned off when we said we were also getting other estimates. Thanks for reading.

The young men who came to accomplish this task were terrific. Professional and hard working. They hussled! There was a glitch with the scheduling and Nick was very accommodating and solved it to our satisfaction. I would use them again. Easy to deal with.

We were extremely pleased with the service we got from Quality in every step of the process. The estimator (Jason) showed up on time and was clean, smart, and professional. (I was astounded at how unprofessional some of the competing estimators were!). The movers came on time on the day of the move. Like the estimator, they looked and acted professional. They were a pleasure to have around. They got right to work and stayed on task until the job was done. The total cost was reasonable and was close to what was estimated. We will definitely use Quality Moving again.

I scheduled the packing and moving service well in advance to make sure I could get the days I needed. I wanted to pack and move on Monday (1 person in a 2-bdrm apt, so not that much stuff), but the company initially wanted to pack on Sunday and move on Monday. When they realized it was a Sunday/Monday, they wanted to pack on Saturday instead. I pushed back and they agreed they could pack and move on Monday after all. Come moving day, a crew of 3 (scheduled to be a crew of 4) showed up with a truck they knew from previous experience could not fit in the apartment building's loading dock (and again, this was a small move so they did not need a big truck). This meant they had to park further away and carry everything through a bunch of extra doors and hallways -- harder for them and more expensive for me since like all movers they charge by the hour. About an hour late the 4th guy showed up to help pack and load. Some of the packing was a little strange (like my bathroom toiletries put into the garbage can (eww) instead of a box). All of the furniture was wrapped with pads and plastic, which was very nice to see - but the mattresses were not wrapped at all. It would have been nice to seem them wrapped in plastic to keep them clean. The workers were courteous and worked hard. The packing and labeling was done well, and they put the furniture where I wanted on delivery. I am happy with the service, but am irritated that their inability to plan ahead with the right sized truck probably cost me a few hundred dollars in extra time on the clock.

I bought the coupon on Angie's List. This is the second time I have used Quality Moving. I needed help loading a truck. The men met me at one location to pick up the truck, and then at two different locations to load the furniture, etc. They were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

They were actually one of the be best movers I've ever use. The job ended up being more involved than I had initially planned when I booked them and had even squeezed me into the schedule because they were so busy at that time. With the extra work I needed done, they called someone else to help and got a bigger truck out to my site and put everything where I wanted it at the new place. They were very friendly, respectful and they worked hard the whole time, all of them. Their price was really good. They really were good at returning calls and doing what they could to work me into the schedule. They were on time, they called me before hand, they let me know where they were and when they will be arriving.

Arrived on time, worked efficiently and finished the job in under 2 hours.

They showed up on time, worked hard and cost less than any other mover we had on our short list. Plus, the boxes were free. Most of the guys in the crew seemed to be expending maximum effort. They were pleasant and easy to talk to. The only real problem we had was with the wardrobe boxes. We boxed up our kitchen and most of our fragile items, but we let the movers handle all of our clothes. Even though we were moving just one mile away, most of the boxes failed to function properly. The clothing bars fell down, leaving our stuff in a pile at the bottom of the box. This caused a lot of wrinkling and extra laundry. We also found that one of the movers had simply dumped the contents of one wardrobe box onto the floor of a closet. When we told the company about this, they expressed appropriate concern - they even came by and picked up four days worth of empty boxes, which was appreciated (picking up empty boxes is not regulalry part of the service with this company). They blamed the problem on the new wardrobe boxes they're using. Overall, however, we were pleased with the service and would use them again.

Packers came to pack fragile items: china, glassware, etc. No broken items on unpacking. The switch on one lamp was broken in the move, but movers took lamp with them, had it repaired and returned to me at which time they also took all the boxes and packing material used. I would definitely use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. They were able to help us out last minute which was excellent. It took them 2 hours to move everything for me.

I thought they were very good and I would use them again.

We could only do half, we had to put half in the shed, we couldn't get them to come back because they were too busy to come back. Everything came, nothing was broke and they were very nice. They put in a long hard day and made two trips. And one moving van to start us. They did a very good job.

It went well. The 2 movers were quick, but only one of them was experienced, so they struggled a bit with some of the heavier items.

They were very nice, professional and on time! If we ever needed to move again, we would definitely use this company again in the future.

They did an excellent job. Three guys came and did the loading and unloading. They were very nice, couldn’t have asked for better.

Excellent follow through and responsiveness. No waiver for tvs and were very careful with them. We were really happy with the packing and moving process over all as well as the price. Only complaint is that near the end of both packing and moving they began to rush. The result was some boxes contained a jumble of things dumped in a large box here and there, and some loose items shoved in a tangle on a garage shelf. Beside the rushed part they were great though.

It went very well. There was a slight mix up onwho was coming to do it but it worked out very well. We were told it would be 4 PM before they got there so we went for a ride and were almost to Hastings when they called and said they were at the Storage place. So I turned around and came right back and then they loaded up the furniture and covered it with cloths for that purpose and carried it down to Farmington and they were there within an hour of leaving the storage place and delivered the furniture right where they wanted it. All in all it was a good move. I only had to pay them $100 more with the $200. Dollar coupon I had. So it was a very good deal.
