WE DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL !!! Dave F originally told us, directly, that he /Quality Movers was FULLY insured if ANYTHING was damaged that they packed/moved. After spending $5600 for Quality Movers to pack and move our belongings, ($1,000 OVER HIS MAX BID AMOUNT, QUOTED IN WRITING ) Dave F***** choose the storage location at Berger Allied **** **** **** ** ** ***** **. instead of **** **** **** ** ************ ** *****, like we had agreed upon originally. (Bloomington and Inver Grove Heights is all that is listed on their storage locations in MN.) (PUT EVERYTHING IN WRITING BEFORE THE MOVE) NOW 1 hour from Chanhassen, which will add $$ to the move later. We spent $10,000 for 12 months of storage at Berger Allied, who claim to have pest control. (THEY HAVE A MICE PROBLEM BECAUSE OUR SOFA HAD MICE STAINS ALL OVER THE SOFA ONCE DELIVERED) We spent $3600 for delivery after 12 months in storage, using Berger Allied, since we no longer trusted Dave F***** @ Quality Transfer/Quality Moving to move us. Upon unpacking, viewing furniture, broken items, there was $5864 of damage for 18 items. DAVE F***** said in his email response, "IN REGARDS TO YOUR DAMAGED ITEMS, QUALITY MOVERS WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILTY FOR THE DAMAGED ITEMS PICTURED AND DESCRIBED." DAVE F*****/Quality Moving PROMISE on their website. "We always take protective measures to ensure that all goods remain in the same condition we found them." "The safety and security of your property is our greatest concern and we leave nothing to chance in protecting it.' "Our indoor, climate-controlled storage facilities in Edina, Minnesota, and Hudson, Wisconsin offer you both security and convenience." "100% replacement value insurance coverage. Beware of movers who only carry the minimum state-required $0.60/ pound coverage (example: an 80-lb. flat-screen TV that’s damaged would only be valued at $48 by one of these carriers. "All moves are performed by our employees, who are qualified, bonded and insured professional movers. ITS NOT TRUE and WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO VALUES YOUR PROPERTY, AS THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OR ALL DAMAGED ITEMS.

** BUYER BEWARE ** They need to be better at communicating and scheduling/confirming appointments. I've used this company a few times for prior moves and reached out to them several weeks ago for a move that was supposed to happen 10/14. On 9/20 and 9/22 a date/time of 10/14 at 9am was discussed for this move (and by discussed, that means they said it was available and I sent "can we plan on 10/14 starting at 9am" ) - they then asked for origin and destination addresses on 9/23 to complete the work order, at which time all requested information was sent. At no point was it communicated that anything else was needed from me to complete the booking; we had a date/time/destination, so I thought everything was on track. Then on 10/13 I reached out to them to confirm we were still on for 10/14 as planned at 9am and got no response - this message was sent during business hours at about noon, which should be early enough for a same-day response - there was also a call to their office on 10/14 with a voicemail left, and that call was not returned. Finally got ahold of them later on 10/14 only to be told the move was never officially booked on their end, but they never gave a good (non-gaslighting) response as to WHY the move was not booked on their end despite there being discussions of an exact date, time and the origin/destination addresses with me asking to be put on the schedule/booked - they just said I should have known it wasn't fully booked (despite me having no unanswered texts or emails from this company to suggest anything was still outstanding or needed from me to fully book and get me on the schedule - I also don't have any access to their internal schedules or processes to just somehow know if I am or am not on the schedule). This would be a 0-star review, but I do have to give some credit for them not screwing up prior moves (not too badly anyways) and their pricing seems to be in line with the rest of the industry. That said, the last move of mine for which they did actually show up, the rep said 4 guys were needed for the scope of work, but one of them spent enough time drinking coffee and trying to make small talk that I think 3 would have been fine so long as it was the right 3. So now I'm massively behind schedule (out extra time and money to boot) on a move that was already supposed to be past tense, but is sadly still in process. If you use this company and everything goes well, that's great; if it goes sideways, good luck getting any sort of viable resolution or even a sincere apology without being blamed for things not going well or told you should have known better. As an aside, the rate I was quoted ($290/hour for 4 guys + truck) is higher than the $275 currently listed on their site and I was quoted 6-10 hours for this move with same number of guys as the last move, which took under 4 hours and I'm only going 20 minutes farther than the last time, so they're either terrible at estimating or less efficient than they used to be and now need more time to get their jobs done. ** FYI: after this review hit Angi, they reached out to me and requested I remove the review as it could be damaging to their business - my response to that is still this; until/unless they are able to prove that this review is factually inaccurate (I have screenshots of the entire conversation with dates to show I requested to be booked for a date/ time they said was available and gave them the information needed to complete the work order on their end), then my review stands. I've done 4 moves with this company, and this experience is why I'm choosing to sever a business relationship and not hire them in the future. Yes, they offered to move me on Saturday 10/16 (as of 10/14 that was the earliest date they would guarantee), but that date did not work with my schedule and my communications with Nick were extremely off-putting, so I chose to use another company. I've sent Angi screenshots showing the entire conversation with Nick going back to September in the hopes that it could be uploaded with the review, so you as the reader can decide if this is a company you would want to hire and if this is how you as a customer (in my case repeat customer) want to be treated.

If money and time are no object, hire this company. What seemed like it should have taken around 3-4 hrs ended up with us paying for 5.25 hrs of work plus travel time of over an hour to drive a total of 26 miles. The team we got was very young & one guy is 17 & slight. We gave clear directions about only to move the heaviest furniture and labeled everything. A very heavy solid wood desk was moved when we had a sign on it, "do not move". The workers did not move very rapidly, & in fact their pace was quite slow. We were kind, direct, & even gave them food. We had 5 friends fill up & unload 16 carloads of boxes in the time it took the hired workers to load the furniture. I attempted to resolve issues with one of the owners & all I got was sideways remarks & defensiveness on his part. He even segued into what the govt should do to help small businesses and how hard it is to hire people. He said he'd look into my concerns and never got back to me unless I pursued him. I did not get any satisfaction by trying to voice my concerns & paid $1200 for 4 rooms of furniture moved.

The moving crew was great! They were on time, friendly, and worked hard and efficiently. We will definitely hire Quality Moving in the future and highly recommend to family & friends.

I would recommend Quality Moving and Storage to anyone looking for a mover! They did a fantastic job. From the beginning, they were incredibly responsive. All of the employees I worked with were incredibly helpful and very professional. We moved from a two bedroom apartment, but also had furniture and boxes we had to pick up at two family members residences before dropping everything at our 4 bedroom house. Our movers did an amazing job! They were on time, very communicative throughout the whole process, and efficient. They handled all of our items with care and nothing was damaged. If you are looking for a mover, I highly recommend Quality Moving and Storage!

We hired Quality Moving and Storage for a full-service move from Saint Paul to Minneapolis. Their packing crew arrived the day before and packed all our belongings in our three-bedroom apartment in about five hours. They thoughtfully set aside things like keys and made sure we had bedding for the night and boxes to pack up last minute things. Everything was carefully wrapped and this is the first move I've had where nothing was broken. Packing crew was courteous and professional. The next day four young men arrived on time and moved everything to our new home in Minneapolis. They carefully wrapped up furniture in moving blankets to keep in safe in transit. The move took nearly 10 hours from start to finish because of the distance from my apartment to the loading dock - they were extremely hard working and made sure we were satisfied with everything before they left. They took good care in our home, and I couldn't have been more satisfied.

Exceptional service! We could not have been more pleased with these crews. Following our first move, we were so impressed, so we added a considerable tip for the guys who had worked so carefully, diligently and efficiently to move our belongings. We did not expect to need their services again, but life happens...and we ended up moving again just two weeks later. Our experience (with two of the same guys and two new) was exactly the same. They were dedicated, careful, considerate and so fast! So, of course, we gave these guys a nice gratuity as well. I fully and emphatically recommend this company. If you want dedication, efficiency, consideration and a git ‘er done attitude, this is your moving company!

Despite the relentless shifting of my move date Nick, owner, was always professional and accommodating. And both crews were awesome! The guys who loaded my PODS: were so great I thought it might be a fluke. Then a second crew: Khmong, Joe, Antonio and William unloaded my PODS and they too were excellent.

Poorly, furniture was damaged, they refused to repair it, they gave me an estimate then doubled the price, stated 2 trucks with 5 staff, didn't happened. Too many problems to list...

Everything was fine. On time, cordial and friendly hard workers.

The moving company apparently had lots of business during the period I needed to move, but once the schedule was finalized, it went well.

From the estimate to the follow up my experience with Quality Moving was excellent. Dave Franta, the owner, was knowledgeable, personable, and very customer oriented. In getting estimates I was concerned about moving some of our art. The competition advised us to move it ourselves in our car. Dave displayed knowledge on just how to pack different types of paintings and came on moving day to pack all of our paintings himself. Each one was packed with special paper individually. He also dropped off an ample supply of different size boxes for us to use free of charge, which we did not have to return. The crew was great. They took care to not track dirt into either house, disassembled and assembled all of the furniture, and did not damage a single item nor nick a single wall. Incredibly, and a first for us, every single piece of furniture was wrapped in a blanket so that no surfaces were showing, and then the blankets were taped tight to keep them in place. We have moved five times now and this was by far the best company we have ever used. Professional, competent, and friendly. The time estimate was accurate and the price competitive. We highly recommend this company.

This company is horrible. The movers left our house with items still upstairs, so they had to come back to finish the job. Then, the movers left a bunch of items in the garage, so we had to call them back the next morning to finish the job. They said they were in a rush to get to their next job, which is not acceptable. When the moving truck arrived to unload our boxes, they arrived more than 4 hours late! They didn't even have the respect to communicate what a current ETA would be, so I was late picking my son up from preschool. We had to no idea when they would arrive, no one was returning our messages. The owner stated he got "lost" and was very argumentative with my husband that night after finally arriving. The packers were nice, but only labeled boxes on top, not on the sides. So when the boxes are all stacked, you can't tell what's in any of them. We recieved a 10% discount for all the hassle and poor business practices, which doesn't even come close to rectifying the situation. We were planning on using Quality to move my husband's condo, but we will now be going with a different company. I wouldn't recommend Quality to anyone.

We had a great experience with quality moving! They provided boxes ahead of time which made our move even easier. On the day of they worked diligently to ensure all of our furniture and items were secure and protected. Everyone on the move team was friendly and professional. They navigated two different buildings (apartment and condo) with ease. Would recommend to friends and family. My only disappointment... we had asked that they bring wardrobe boxes to the move and they forgot or it did not get communicated.

Over the last six years I have continually employed quality movers. They have never let me down. Their people are prompt and courteous. They are excellent in short and I would not hesitate to call them again and again.

It went fabulously. They sent two young men who were very competent and very experienced. They moved some really heavy and awkward furniture through small doors with ease and without damaging anything. They picked up a very heavy entertainment center with moving belts and walked it into the room. So, there was no way it would scratch the floor. I have never seen it done that way. Amazing. They talked to each other to make sure they moved together to get through every door carefully and without doing any damage. I couldn't praise them more. It went quickly and perfectly. The two gentlemen were such professionals and so easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone needing a good moving experience.

Its name sounds generic, but this company is anything but generic! We give Quality Moving and Storage an A+. We had a complex, three-part move: first a bunch of stuff put into storage before the house went on the market, second the Post Closing move of the rest of the stuff into storage, and third, after a few months in storage all the stuff was moved into our new place. The move into our condo in a new development was logistically complex and they handled it effortlessly. Dave, the owner, was exceptionally responsive and his team of movers were professional, friendly, and very respectful of our belongings. They even returned the day after the move to fine-tune. We strongly recommend using Quality!

Left us in the lurch! Movers couldn't get their truck to the building's loading dock because the clearance was too low. They attempted to find a U-Haul (on the last day of the month) and couldn't - so they just left. Made no effort to find another solution, reschedule with another truck in their fleet, recommend someone else to assist, or offer any suggestion as to what we could do to complete the move - which obviously had to be completed. We were at the point where I thought we would have to just leave behind everything we couldn't move with a car or a hotel cart and figure out how to get it out of the apartment. Thank goodness we were able to find another company that was moving someone into the building - they worked it into their schedule and the move was completed by late that night (instead of at 9 am as scheduled).

These folks are the real deal. There cannot be anyone better than these folk because they would have to be some higher order of being. Habe you ever wondered whether moving could be a science. Until now I had no idea, but yes, it can! These guys are the most meticulous, organized, polite and thoughtful bunch. They treat your stuff like it was priceless artifacts from the Ming Dynasty. They are strong but better yet they are WELL TRAINED. Yes, they are clearly taught techniques that result in fast work and thorough wrapping. We have custom, heirloom furniture that was padded beyond recognition. If the Nobel prize were awarded for moving, they would get it. In fact, let's give them one!

Amazing...nice young men who did the job professionally and carefully, asking us questions and carefully listening and responding. These guys did not bicker among themselves but supported each other and tried to figure out the best way to perform the next part of the move. We were very pleased with their work and their demeanor. The owners have hired people w/o "an attitude" and they are all different races. It was a joy to work with them!
