Quality Moving & Storage

I originally called the company one month before our move to arrange services. He 'penciled me in' for the dates we needed, and I took that as we were good to go. Apparently there was some miscommunication here because he emailed me a week before the move asking if we still needed help. I responded 'yes' and followed up with several phone calls. I reached him about 4 days before service and he didn't have time to talk and said he would get back to me soon. I heard nothing for two more days so I called back and left a voicemail. Finally two days before our move I got the response that they would not be able to fit us in. I didn't even realize until then that it was in question whether or not they could do it. I thought we were confirmed. Overall communication was poor, which is disappointing since I read very good things about them otherwise. I would like to give a better review, but I feel as though I was left 'high and dry' two days before a holiday weekend move. We were very lucky that Help-U-Pack-N-Move had availability the day before the move date to do the job.

My husband's coworker booked Quality Movers and had a wonderful phone and in person experience. We then decided to use them for our move as well since she was singing their compliments. I called Nick and he was a little distracted, but began answering my questions within the first 30 seconds of calling, he put me on hold for 5 minutes, then told me he would call me back to get more details and schedule my move. This was completely fine, I appreciated him not leaving me on hold forever. The issue was he never called me back. My husband then called the next day in the late afternoon, and received essentially the same treatment. We never even fully got a quote sadly just some random thought up numbers in from our short and then brushed off conversations. I hope Quality Movers reads this review and is able to be more respectful and timely for clients in the future. We unfortunately will not be using them for our move.

I called two other moving companies as well and Nick was the only person to actually answer the phone instead of getting a voicemail, and the other company never even returned my call. They were able to get the job scheduled quickly and were so fast when they showed up I couldn't believe it. With other movers that charge by the hour I've had bad experiences where they move at a snail's pace. Not this crew. They actually did the job in half the time they thought it would take and were great. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them.

I was impress with Kevin, Josh and Phil. They arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They were done within 20 minutes. They were careful not to mark up the painted walls when brining the furniture up the stairs. I would highly recommend them and will use them for my next moving project.

Went as expected. The guys were very nice and obviously very hard workers. It ended up costing more than I had anticipated for a small 1 bedroom apartment move, but I didn't ask for a quote up front (and we DID end up waiting around for about 20-30 minutes when my apartment building's elevator broke down with the last of my furniture and one of the movers in it! thankfully he was a good sport about it!). I would hire them again.

On Wednesday morning, 4/15/2015, two very polite and strong young men came to our house right on time. They very capably navigated up and down the narrow stairways of all three floors and basement of our eighty-year old house, hauling all our old, non-useable items out back to be picked up by the city refuse trucks.They worked very quickly and even checked and asked whether there was anything else before they left. All in all, it was a very good experience, and I am especially grateful to Dave and Nick for very readily and professionally honoring my Angie's coupon that was about to expire. I've used their services three times and have always been very pleased. I highly recommend their services for top Quality & Value.

My move was flawless. The 3 men showed up exactly on time and got straight to work. Like a well-oiled team, they didn't have to talk I lot. This gave me the impression this crew has worked together a lot. The crew was efficient, professional, and funny (not something you normally expect). Nothing broken and no damage to any walls or flooring. Pricing was very fair. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Very courteous movers! Showed up on time and worked hard and efficiently until the job was done. Highly recommended.

Quality Moving and Storage met and beat my expectations! We were referred by a friend who recently moved. We had a tight time table and a LOT of extra stuff due to our occupations. We originally had 4 movers, but half way through the day they asked if they could add 2 more to get the job done faster, and we agreed. They also went for a second truck. They made it all happen with our given timeline and we couldn't have done it without them! All of the movers were respectful, helpful, speedy, friendly and careful with out stuff. I would definitely refer them to friends. I'm very happy we decided to go with Quality Moving and Storage! Great job Kevin, Josh, Briz, Phil, Derek and Delton!!

I purchased the $149.00 deal and called today to schedule a move for this month and Nick said everything was full. Although very nice over the phone, Nick didn't really go out of his way to accommodate or offer up any solutions. Angie's List consumers need to understand a few things about the $100 free box program. First, you need to have the move scheduled first and second, you need to pick the boxes up yourself. The company doesn't really make this explicit and when I stopped over at the Edina office yesterday at around 3pm, nobody was there. They post hours that they are open until 6pm but that was not the case for me. Although I did not have service actually performed, I only give them an average rating for making this deal basically worthless in my situation and my interactions with the company. UPDATE 4/15/15: Regarding the boxes, Nick, you have something on the member page that says, "Coupon For 'Quality Moving & Storage Of Edina & Hudson' Free moving boxes for Angie's List members (a $100 value)." This is right above the Schedule Now button. I decided to go with a different company on Angie's List, but I do appreciate the follow-up. I did bump up the overall rating to attest to your commitment to communicating with your customers - even if things don't work out with scheduling.

Great set of guys! Very professional. Thank goodness there was a team of 4 since I had a lot of stuff to move. Carefully packed my fragile storage cases. Very happy!

The Move and the 3 men that were supplied by Quality movers went without a hitch! Kevin, Tony, Derek all worked well together and did a great job. Everything was wrapped and covered. 2 - things. I was not made aware of the additional cost related to the move. I had assumed that since the move took under one hour from start to finish that the initial Angie List coupon would cover the cost. But it did not. I had to write an additional check. But overall - With all taken into consideration. job well done - move went smooth- So I am happy.

They were great! On time, very efficient, polite, professional.

The two movers arrived exactly on time, were courteous and professional, removed their shoes to enter both premises, moved the couch without a ding or contact with any walls or doors, and did it in excellent time.

Cobb, Reis, Josh and Briz showed up early and immediately got to work. They were polite, very careful/mindful and efficient. They amazingly and immediately found places to temporarily store everything safely in the home--which was no easy feat. I was amazed at what they accomplished in less than hour. Cobb, Briz, Kevin and Josh returned to the home early the following Monday to put everything back into place and move items out of another room. Service was the same quality and level of professionalism.

AWESOME. Nick John & Jamie showed up on time. we did a quick walk thru to talk about what I needed. They devised their plan and got right to work. They were very careful of my floors and belongings. They were extremely courteous. They were willing to move anything I needed. I was impressed by how fast they worked. The unload went really well. They just asked where I wanted things to go and made it happen. Again - very careful of my newly finished hardwood floors. At one point a small table with a hidden drawer was turned and the drawer fell out. I didn't see it happen and wouldn't have known but Nick told me about it and said they'd take the drawer and have it repaired. (One corner we a little loose) Really appreciate the honesty and the integrity. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

It went just okay. The service company did a good job, by and large. They certainly were helpful in their relation to Angie’s List and were very positive about it.

They were great. The team showed up on time. The lock on my space was frozen and they were very helpful while I attempted to remove the lock. 45 minutes later I finally got the lock off and they had my space cleared out in 30 minutes. The team were extremely polite and professional, they were extremely careful with our belongings. Highly recommended!

It didn't work out because of scheduling issues.

Throughout the process Quality Moving was very easy to work with and very responsive. We contacted them by both phone and e-mail throughout. When we reserved them for our move, they recommended 3 movers to ensure they would be able to move everything efficiently and then actually showed up with 4 guys, but still charged us for 3. We had a 2 bedroom house and it was only 4 hours from the time they showed up to our house, loaded everything onto the truck and unloaded it at our new house. I was very impressed. They protected all of our furniture with moving blankets, securing everything with plastic wrap. Overall, a really great job and I'd recommend them to anyone.

We had a very large number of items to be packed and moved. It took them a little longer than expected; however, everyone from the packers to the movers remained friendly and helpful throughout the whole process.

I remember being very pleased. This was actually the second time we've worked with them - - both were great experiences!

Great. I was told that there would be boxes left for me by 5:30 and sure enough. I pulled up and they were shrink-wrapped with my name on it waiting for me. Thanks for prepping them for me!

They were very professional, friendly and assisted with knowledge helping us with a much smoother move. I felt very comfortable having these men in our home and did not get the feeling I would need to "check" or hide valuables. One man was a little clumsy but they all worked very hard. I would definitely hire them again.

They were great. They were quick, the guys were well coordinated and worked well together, they communicated with one another and they treated the furniture well. They dropped our safe in the driveway and they were honest about it. It wasn't a big deal but they took some money off.
