Went well. Workers very efficient and kept things moving.

Movers were on-time, polite, and worked very hard for several hours to get things packed tight and secure on the trailer. They did a great job and nothing was broken during the trip.

Went very well. A great two man crew (Derrick and Trevor?). Worked steadily and carefully. They made it look easy. Volunteered to shrink wrap bedding we were storing in the garage. A lot of re-staging of furniture in the house - they carefully followed our directions. B for punctuality only because they were scheduled between 10-10:30. They arrived at 11:15. Really no big deal and they did call to advise they would be a bit late. They were working an assortment of small jobs, so keeping a precise schedule is not easy. Definitely would call again.

My experiences with the movers themselves, the young men who arrived to load and move items, and Nick, the owner, were quite different. I found communication with Nick to be difficult--he prefers phone calls to email unless they are very short (responded to my long email by saying emails were "too much typing" and asking me to call instead), but I often felt that phone calls were hurried and I was unsure if things that I was trying to communicate (details of exactly was to be done) were actually being noted. He is rather short and brusque on the phone and several times answered the phone by saying, "What do you want?" I was rather anxious, as we were trying to organize the moving and storage of my parents' possessions as well as their distribution to multiple locations at different times, and my interactions with him did not inspire confidence. So I did not find communication with this organization to be clear or pleasant. However, when it came down to the actual work to be done, the young men who did the moving were wonderful. They were careful, courteous, well-organized, polite and respectful to my parents, efficient, willing to organize things for the different households, friendly and easy to work with. They moved a very old grandfather clock with care, respect and success. So although I did not enjoy the process of organizing the work with this company and through the owner, the actual work itself was well done, competitively priced and thorough.

I had a relatively simple move to make, as I'd been packing and moving many things for a couple weeks before needing a mover to move furniture. I called Quality less than two weeks before my appointment scheduling and they were quite accommodating to get me scheduled. Three gents arrived at the scheduled time, got a quick briefing, and went to work. All of the furniture made it through the move unscathed from the excellent care they took in wrapping things. I also was moving out of a second floor townhouse with a large L-shaped stairway. There were no marks on the walls and they did really well with that complexity. Their pricing is simple and affordable. Particularly if you're doing the packing or much of the work yourself, they're the perfect team to get you moved. Highly recommend and will use again (although I hope I never have to move again!).

They were not a good company. I was scheduled to have the move on a Wednesday. They didn't show up until Thursday. The workers that moved me out were really good workers but the other two were not so much. They took apart my bed and lost the parts to the bed. They set it up and I could use it, but they just left the foot board against the wall. They couldn't put it back together because they were missing the parts that they took off it. They gave me a small discount for that but I should have demanded they come back and fix that. I'm having a hard time finding somebody that will fix it. I would tell others not to use them. They also broke my screen door on the house I moved from. I mentioned it to someone and they said they'd ask their boss about what they should do about that, but I never heard back.

We took advantage of a moving coupon discount plus free moving boxes through Angie?s List. The office staff was easy to work with and provided helpful tips to prepare for the move. They had a large selection of moving boxes to choose from as we chose to pre-pack smaller items ourselves. They also had large garment hanging boxes that we asked to have delivered the day of the move for us to pack while they were moving the furniture. The move went very well. They arrived on time, were polite, well organized and took less time than originally estimated. Nothing was damaged and they thoroughly cleaned up & removed packaging & boxes. Overall we were very satisfied with Quality Moving & Storage and would use their service again.

Crew was there with truck on time, crew was 4 young guys, everything was well taken care of. They filled that one truck we paid for up the top, and very little had to be left behind. They did scratch one wall on moving stuff downstairs in my new house, but they told me about it promptly. Would use again

The gentlemen that arrived to move our home were excellent - clean, respectful, observant, organized, and hard-working - and showed up right on time as expected. While we had contracted for 4 movers plus a single truck (based on the conversation with the "consultant" who discussed my move with me initially) and had staged most of the packed boxes neatly in the garage - it soon became apparent that it wasn't going to be enough to get the job done. The "consultant" had stated that most household moves took the 4/1 option about 8 hours to complete (@ $200/hr). In the end, we ended up with an additional truck and 2 extra movers for a longer period of time - this doubled the expected (not estimated - there wasn't one) cost. But, I believe that it was necessary and well worth it. The guys worked tirelessly and constantly - no padding the time card at all. It was just a MUCH bigger move than anticipated. Another opportunity for improvement - an "on-site" consultation to determine the proper resources ahead of time? In the end, once again, the crew did a WONDERFUL job. Minimal breakage (and that had as much to do with packing - our responsibility - as handling) and everything that was disassembled for the move was reassembled at the new house. My biggest complaint is in regards to communication - and I urge Nick and Quality to investigate ways to improve here. After reading the reviews online and on Angie's List, I was prepared for some quirks. Ultimately, everything worked out just fine - however, I'd like to suggest that Quality work on a confirmation of move/appointment process. Either a phone call to the client (a week?) in advance, and/or an immediate e-mail confirming the details of the scheduled appointment. Because I was prepared to be proactive in follow-up, I didn't have a problem or a concern. This is just an opportunity for improvement. Regarding the "free boxes" that are advertised: please note that they are used boxes of no standard shape or size that can be set outside in a random assorted bundle for the client to pick up. No ordering of specific sizes, shapes, or numbers. We had to request and pick up boxes 3 or 4 times, ultimately. The movers will bring along Wardrobe Boxes the day of the move, but that is all. The boxes work and were free - just don't expect to call up and request "book boxes," "dish-packs," or "wardrobes" if you are used to the services of professional packing.

Wasn't able to get a quote in writing. turned out fine but made me nervous at first.

Overall, this company did a great job! While they are certainly professional, they are more a 'no nonsense' company without the glitz of others. I got four bids and Quality Movers were the lowest. I had to ask for a written estimate and make sure their bid was a 'not to exceed' estimate. I was a little cautious, making sure we were on their schedule as the date drew closer an Dave assured me that we were. Not having heard more, I inquired whether there was anything we needed to do on our end before their arrival. He said, 'just be there'! The packing crew was great. They were polite, friendly and went right to work. They would ask questions when needed and handled my questions and desires with the same friendly attitude. It took them longer to pack than what was estimated but we were pleased with the job they did. The next day, a crew came to load up the truck. It was a different crew except for one of the individuals. Again, they wasted no time and went right to work. They were just as friendly and professional as the packing crew. There was concern that all our stuff would not fit onto one truck so they simply brought another truck to the site just in case. Again, it took longer to load than what was estimated. At that point, I reminded Dave of the not to exceed estimate he had done. He replied quickly and confirmed that my estimate would not exceed his quote even if it took more hours than necessary. In fact, I think I might have hurt his feelings to even question this. It turned out, they were able to get everything on a single truck (including two scooters). The next day, they delivered and unloaded and all went very well. One glass desktop apparently had been damaged. When I was informed, they had already put in the order for a replacement. It arrived and was delivered on the date promised. 'Stuff happens' and when it does, I judge the company by how it responds. Quality moving simply took responsibility to replace the pieces without question. You can hire moving companies with fancy brochures and presentations which come with higher estimates. Or, you can hire a company that simply comes in and gets the job done in a professional, friendly and honest manner like Quality Movers & Storage

Went good, it turned out to be expensive than I thought. But overall the service was very good.

We were very pleased with the moving services. The crew arrived on time and did a wonderful job. Top to bottom, we were very happy with the moving services and with working with us to resolve the final bill, which ended up being quite a bit more than the initial estimate. Notwithstanding the estimating issue, we would use Quality Moving and Storage again, hands down. And, we would strongly recommend them to others. I don't know that we feel the same way about the packing services, but all in all we had a good experience.

This was as good as it gets! So happy with the service I got from Quality Moving and Storage, and can happily recommend them to anyone. Jamie (the team lead) was especially courteous and professional, and the team worked quickly and efficiently. After a few hours they realized that we had more things that anticipated, and got a 4th team member to come join them, which sped things up immensely. Highly, highly recommended. These guys do it right. Wish I had purchased the deal that was available on Angie's List!

it went smoothly with everything intact. They said they've moved houses up the Gunflint Trail with no problem. Our move was easy for them.

Very professional and did a really good and thorough job adding protection on the furniture to make sure it didn't get damaged during the move. Definitely more money than traditional movers, but your furniture and house will not get damaged in the process.

The crew was excellent. They worked efficiently and carefully. They set up all the things they had taken apart when they packed me up on May 19th. They put all the boxes in the correct rooms. (mine were labeled and color coded). Nothing was damaged, especially the china and crystal and all the boxes marked fragile. The final cost was below their estimate and saved me over $1,000 over the next lowest bid. Their storage fee for ten days was half what I was quoted from another company.

Service was excellent. The crew was great, polite, and took care with items. Even wrapped several to protect them.

Arrangements for service were easily made by phone. Crew who did the moving were very professional and helpful.

The move went great!!! The team that showed up were very nice and did a great job packing up the truck. When the arrived at our new house they had the truck unloaded and in our house before we got back from the closing. They even started to unload the storage units we had on our driveway without being asked. This is a great company and would use them again if we ever move.

On April 29th, I emailed Quality Moving& Storage to get a quote for an upcoming move. I received an emailed response back on April 30th asking me to call Nick directly. I did so and received his voice mail. On Saturday, May 1st, he returned my call but I missed it. I called him back 20 minutes later, around noon...voice mail. On Monday, May 4th we finally connected over the phone. I explained that I had two moves to coordinate....one out of my townhome that I just sold and into a temporary rental, and then one from the temporary rental into my new house. I told him I wanted a quote for the first move, as I had no idea how much this would cost. (Previous moves were cross-country and this one was two blocks away, so literally, no idea.) Nick was professional and polite over the phone, and eager to 'pencil me in' for a date on his calendar but very non-committal regarding how much this was going to cost me. I wasn't super comfortable with that, as I really wanted to know how much it was going to cost before I committed to using them, but we chose a date of June 6th. He said Jamie would call me in a 'few days' to set up a date/time to come out for the quote. This was on May 4th. After hearing nothing from them for two full weeks, I contacted another mover, received a quote, put down a deposit and scheduled the move - all in the same day. On May 23rd I received my first call from Jamie. NINETEEN days after my initial call to Nick. To his credit, Jamie called me three more times before I finally returned his call. Part of me wanted to leave them hanging, as they'd done to me, but I decided to act like a grown up and let them know I'd gone with someone else. While I realize they have other clients and my move clearly wasn't a priority for them, it was a big deal for me. I have a million things to coordinate and I needed to get this move scheduled and checked off my list. It's their loss, as they could have had my business for two moves.
