Initial contact was professional and productive. Nick was able to answer any questions I had about the move. I received a follow up/confirmation call a couple of days before the move. On the morning of the move, the guys showed up about 10 minutes early, and were loading the truck even before their scheduled start time. Despite the fact that it was below zero, the movers were friendly and professional, and worked quickly. All three stayed busy at all times, either loading large pieces together, or wrapping furniture to be loaded. Everything was loaded in just over an hour. The unloading process went just as smoothly. Throughout, the crew was respectful of my furniture, and the property, laying packing blankets on the floor to prevent any snow/mud from getting in the house. In just under 3 hours, all the furniture was in the new house, with no damages to furniture, flooring, or walls. Overall, they exceeded my expectations in efficiency, professionalism, and price. I would highly recommend Quality Moving and Storage, and will definitely be using them if/when it's time to move again.

The first move included a truck and two movers. The second move included three movers. It was really a full load! The crew was polite and kept communication going as to when and what was happening. I really can't complain about this move.

They quoted me 4-6hrs @ $155/hr and was told in an email that it would be 'very manageable'. Went to get it on the schedule for the 16th, and then they moved it to the 15th. The movers showed up on time. They had it apart, in the truck and to my house 2.5hrs later. It went seriously down hill from there. They had it here apart and couldn't get it back together without looking online to see how it assembled. They started at 8am at the office and 'gave me a break' by saying they were done at 5pm. They were in my basement for 6+ hours and then charged me double what their estimate was. I think they even took a lunch break in there! 9+HOURS TO TAKE IT APART AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER!!! What a joke. We paid the bill on the 21st of December, they cashed the check on the 28th of December and send someone to my house on the 30th(today) to collect the bill. How ridiculous!!! First they underestimate the ENTIRE JOB AND CHARGE ME DOUBLE!! But then their own bookkeeping people don't tell anyone they got the check so they come to collect AT MY HOUSE when I told them the office would be paying the bill! I will NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. In response to you reply: I DID call and talk to Nick Franta about how long it was taking and that they still hadn't had it back together. I said right then and there that I didn't think I should have to pay more than the estimate since they couldn't figure out how to get it back together. That got me nowhere!

They were punctual, careful with our belongings, and of both our old and new residence. They were beyond polite. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Quality Movers moved us from our house in Miinneapolis to an apartment in St. Anthony Village last year. It was an excellent experience. This week they moved us from the apartment back into a house in St. Paul. Again, another excellent experience! They showed up on time. The communication was excellent. The guys were really nice, really professional - and they were so fast. They bill by the hour but there was no slacking off. They took great care of our things, and were done more quickly than I thought they would be. They were careful with floors, walls, etc. Nothing was damaged. This is a fantastic company. I would use them again if I had to move, though we hope to not have to move for a long time.

Wonderful experience with the four guys who came out and moved us this past Saturday. They showed up on time and went right to work. Everything was protected with moving blankets, and they were very careful with all of our furnishings. They worked steadily, were professional and courteous, and got everything moved and in the house in about 6 hours - amazing! Worth every penny.

I was very impressed with Quality Moving & Storage. The movers showed up on time, and were very helpful. They did a great job packing our items, and moved everything undamaged. They took extra care to wrap items our furniture. The foreman was very forward with what would be done when, and was always in communication with us. When unpacking they were just as great as before. They put the items where we asked them to, and laid down cloth to help keep the tracking of dirt in and out of the house at a minimum. There's two dings that I'd give them: One is the lack of communication on their end. When I had called to schedule our move I mentioned that we had a pod that needed to be unpacked as well. This wasn't communicated to the moving team, and as a result they needed to call in an extra guy to help out. In the end this worked out just fine since my wife and I helped them unpack the pod (along with the extra guy). The second is that I wished someone would have come to our house to look at what we were moving before hand. We have some Ikea furniture that needed to be disassembled, and we thought that it would have fit through some doorways. My wife and I anticipated some of these and had them taken down beforehand. However, there was more furniture that needed to be disassembled. This added to the overall time, and we needed to pay more than what was estimated. This could have been easily prevented had someone come out and tell us exactly what needed to be disassembled.

They were good, friendly and punctual.

They moved me about a year ago. They took some of my belongings and put them in a storage unit that I did not authorize. They charged me for this, too. They also ended up selling some of my items. They also broke some of my things, but claimed they did not break them. I would never recommend them to anyone. I also reported them to the Attorney General's office and The Better Business Bureau.

OIt went just great. Nearly flawlessly. Four movers arrived exactly on time with all the equipment they needed. They worked diligently from 8 AM to 1 PM. They wrapped the items tightly and packed them securely. The proof is in the pudding, as they say, and this was a very tasty dish. Over the three-day trip, only a couple of inexpensive pots were broken, and the Quality folks had warned us they might not survive the trip. I had a large motorcycle that needed to be transported. One might think it would be a challenge getting it into the van. Not so, It developed that one of the movers had as a hobby being a motocross cyclist, and he drove it up the ramp and into the truck. Expertly. Given the work they did and all the supplies they used, I thought that the price was very reasonable. Nobody's perfect, and the only fault I can find is that they underestimated the number of moving blankets we needed to rent from Penske, with the result we had to spend a little extra to buy something like 12 additional blankets from them. In the context, that's nothing. I'd use them again in a heartbeat, and strongly recommend them to all who might require their services.

The move went very well they took very good care of our items wrapping them up well and worked efficiently. The were very friendly and punctual. The only issue was that there was only one usable wardrobe box since the others were in bad condition and I had planned on using them but this was a minor inconvenience.

Nick and his team from Quality Moving and Storage were the best movers I've ever used. They were prompt, polite, professional, and fast, treating our furniture and belongings with such care. Only one item was damaged in the move (a futon), and they offered on the spot to repair it or to give us a credit on our bill. I would absolutely use them again and have recommended their services to friends and family.

Great! I'd emailed to ask if they move fountains and of course they said yes. I called on Monday to see if they'd have time this week and they got me in on Wednesday. The crew called before they arrived and when they pulled into the alley we did a quick walk-thru and they got to work. They loaded everything up (and even disassembled the fountain) and we were off to my new place. Once there they asked where I wanted things to go and again got right to work. Friendly, courteous, efficient...great service. I will definitely use them again and have recommended them many times.

I had emailed two other moving companies asking for availability and a quote for my move day. After several days of no response, I repeated those inquiries and also emailed Quality Moving in Edina. Nick from Quality Movers was quick to respond, recognize my requirements, and give me a verbal quote. Because my move was small and only a few blocks, he understood that a per hour agreement would be sufficient and 'penciled me in' very quickly. I was traveling for work and was able to successful coordinate and schedule via email and voice messages and was confident Nick had things under control. I was scheduled for the afternoon and hadn't gotten a confirmation call, so around noon I called the office, spoke to Nick who said he had not heard from the crew regarding their morning move.so he assumed they wouldn't reach me until one or two. Not a problem really, but I was worried because a move several years ago (different company) had me scheduled for morning on my end, and afternoon with the crew - I was a little nervous because of that. At about 2:15 I got a call form the crew saying they were on their way. The crew of three arrived at about 2:40 and got right to work. They had my things on the truck in about an hour. The drive was only three blocks so they had no time to rest, and they had everything offloaded and moved up some steps and through a very tight doorway within about another hour. They did charge for three full hours - no prorating, but honestly I hadn't even asked if that was a possibility when I booked. I was perfectly ok paying for three hours because the crew was pleasant and fast, and my move included a very large and very heavy solid wood piece that required both finesse and brute strength. I have been doing a lot of remodeling lately and working with many subcontractors, very few of which impressed me enough to use them again or recommend their services to others. Quality Moving was a positive experience for me and I would certainly use them again.

Top shelf company. With the 100's of options to choose from, it is hard to make a good decision. I am glad I choose Quality moving. The movers were professional and took care of your belongings. I would hire again without hesitation!

I was very impressed with service we were given. Two women came the first day to pack all her stuff. They were on-time, efficient and very friendly. On moving day we had two men arrive on time to start the move. They were very careful with everything and carefully wrapped all the furniture. As they were finishing in the old place, one of the women from the previous day came to help with the smaller details. She then joined us in the new apartment and helped us unpack. These senior apartments are not large so loading the truck at the first place to fully unloading at the new took about 5.5 hours. I have moved many times before and the people from Quality Movers were the friendliest.

The crew arrived on time, carefully wrapped all items needing wrap, carefully loaded and unloaded all items. There was no damage and the crew performed very professionally at all time.

The crew arrived within the time frame they were suppose to. They did have to wait on the 2nd crew and truck however before they could start to load up trucks. We showed the crew around the house and talked to them about beds that needed to be taken apart as well as theater seating and platform seating. It was a long day for the guys and they did great. It was a hot July day and we had a lot of stuff for them to move. Nothing got damaged in the move. They put together all our beds at our new house. They also did protect our hardwood floors and railings. We had 2 trucks and I believe it was a 5-6 man crew that did the move. The guys were all very nice and helpful. If we ever move again we will be sure to use you again :) Sorry for the late review, you guys did great. AAAAAA++++++

The workers were very rough in handling the items. Boxes marked fragile were delivered and left on their side. Pictures were not adequately wrapped since several corners on several paintings were damaged. They single wrapped most glassware. One package had 4 items packed in it, 1 of which broke. One person told me he would come back and pick up boxes. Just call. I did and then was told they don't do that and eventually someone did come ... after the rain! Missing one bracket for window curtain rod and had to order a new one. Would not use or recommend them because of the disregard for the furniture/pictures/glassware.

Third time I have used them and have been pleased with their service each time. Two moves were in Edina -where they are located- so portal charges were non-existent. Third move was in St. Bonifacius so the portal to portal charges were much more significant. However, they were very upfront that these charges would be included on the invoice. I would highly recommend this company.

Great experience with Quality Moving and Storage. I used them to pack up my 1,000 s.f. condo and move my items to their storage vault while I waited to take possession of my new home. The packing services were performed 2 days before the move. They sent a team of 3 women who were able to pack everything in about 4 hours. They were careful packers and really pleasant ladies. They also took notes about how many wardrobe boxes and how much furniture would need to be wrapped/padded by the moving crew, and shared that info with the movers for me. On moving day, a crew of 4 very nice men showed up and moved all of my items into the truck in around 4 hours. They wrapped all of my furniture in plastic and padded all of my mirrors and wall hangings. The were quick and efficient about their job. I will definitely use Quality Moving and Storage again.

We got off to a rough start. I'd arranged the move using my office phone and they attempted to confirm the move with my office's receptionist instead of calling the number (my personal mobile) that I had given them. When my office said that , no, I wasn't moving on Friday, they cancelled the move. Friday morning dawned bright and early and we roused my father to get him up and ready to go (dad is 89). No movers. We waited about 40 minutes before I called and they told me that based on my (!) response the previous day when they had called to confirm, they had cancelled the move. UGH. This was an emotional move for me. Dad was moving - sort of against his will - from his independent apartment to an assisted living facility. I was stressed and tearful. Quality movers, though, stepped up and made it right. Three movers showed up about 1.5 hours late but got the job done and were happy and helpful throughout. The stop mid-way proved to be no problem for them at all. If you use them know the following: Call them from the phone you want them to reach you on. This was my nearly fatal mistake. Know that they will call to confirm the move the day before. I didn't know this so I couldn't call to confirm it myself.

Three movers showed up and worked really hard the whole time. I was very impressed with their work ethic. Overall I think they did a really good job. I would definitely use them again, especially with the Angie's list coupon which helped save some money. My only criticisms are that they charged me from the minute they left their office in Hudson, WI. Maybe they told me this when I hired them, but I do not recall that, so I was surprised by that charge. Also they say that they have free boxes you can use, getting the boxes was much more hassle than it was worth as the boxes were all different sizes and generally poor quality.

The three man crew arrived in the time window, after calling 20 minutes before to say they were on their way. They were super fast and got the work done in about 15 minutes from arrival time. They took off their shoes and were very polite and careful.
