I emailed them on Angie's List to ask if they could come out that day due to the fact I had lost my house keys and wanted to get the locks changed. I received a response back with a few minutes saying yes they could do the job. They also has a special going for 99.00 for 4 locks changed. Josh arrived at my house around noon and explained what he could and couldn't fix (due to the door lock being so old). He was a very nice, hard working young man and I hire these folks again.

We were so pleased with this company. We had been scammed by another lock company (names sounds similar, but NOT a reputable company!) a few weeks before needing this new service and didn't want to repeat that experience. We received complete service in a timely and professional, yet friendly, manner. Absolutely recommend MN Locks.

I paid another $100 for the additional doors and they also charged because I didn't have any blank keys which was weird. The job took about an hour and a half. I was surprised at how expensive it was so I wouldn't call them again.

They arrived as promised, reviewed the problems with my locks. Provided an overview of the approximate costs and went about fixing what was needed. I was very happy with the overall experience and would use them again.

We purchased a coupon on Angie's List for our new home, as various contractors had worked on the home and we didn't know who had keys and who didn't. The guy came out, did a great job, we had more locks to re-key than the coupon stated, but they charged only a small upgrade fee to take care of all of them. Bottom line, they arrived on time, did a great job, and we'd use them again.

This Minnesota Locks is a small brick and mortar shop on Robert Street. Donna and Josh helped me immediately. I wanted an OEM spare key, not a clone key, made. Josh cut the key, made sure it fit the locks and ignition, then programmed the car computer to accept the new key identification. The new key was made in a timely manner, with care and professionalism and within a price range I had anticipated. The key worked perfectly for unlocking, locking and starting and driving the car. I was treated very well and recommend them for getting spare OEM car keys made and programmed to the car.

Our house was broken into. I knew I wanted to change the locks so went to Angie's List for recommendations. Minnesota Locks happened to be offering a big deal. They were very highly rated and also in our neighborhood. I contacted them and got scheduled and then bought the big deal. Jacob came out within hours on the same day and finished the job quickly and was very professional. Two days later my husband realized that I had forgotten to have one of the doors redone. I called and again they came out within hours and completed the work without charging me the full rate for another call. I thought the whole process was very reasonable and I couldn't be happier with the work that was done. I highly recommend this company.

When we called Minnesota Locks, it was generally a rush since we had an employee leave and needed to rekey the locks within that day or the next. They were always prompt, accurately arriving at the correct locations within the available times, and always followed our random instructions accurately (only this door and not that one, leave 5 key copies here and 3 there, etc.). One time the installer provided some very interesting and useful insight on a break-in that we had suspected but not known for sure - and he approached it in a very sensitive manner. As a small business owner, we had a ton of things going on all the time - so it was very nice to place the call and know it would get taken care of. One of our stores was directly across the street from them, and they provided service like a mom & pop shop - very easy to work with and arrange payment. We never had any issues with the service they provided.

I lost the key to my safe and needed to get another one made. The manufacturer of the safe, FireKing, was not able to provide another key as the safe is very old. I called Dan at Minnesota Locks and he told me if I could get the safe to him, it would be a lot cheaper to do. Since the safe is heavy but portable, I brought it in to him and within 5 minutes of him trying a molded key, he was able to get into the safe, and make me two keys all for the bargain price of $15! I was impressed with Dan's customer service and talent and knowledge of the lock on the safe. I would definitely recommend them for anyone else in this situation. It was cheaper than the $30 FireKing wanted to mail me a replacement key.

I understand people getting backed up on a job, but he had our number and didn't call. The next day, after calling the office 2 times without an answer, we finally got an answer from another person. He was very apologetic but we chose to not use them. 5 min after this call Josh called to apologize saying he had left our number at the shop. Funny how it took us to complain about him before he called. I've read good reviews about them, but communication is not a strength.

The guy was very thorough and all this only took him under 2 hours. He was missing a part and had one of his associates deliver it promptly. I had just purchased my home and am a first time home buyer- so this experience was great! I would recommend their services any day!!

Delay in time of appoinment. Called and explained and sent partner to install. Apologized for the change in time. When they arrived, the installation went quickly. I would contact them again.

PERFECT - recommend these guys!

The service was very good but after 6 weeks or so my doorknob is starting to show signs similar to those I was experiencing prior to service.

It was a easy process. I had a old lock and did not have any keys so I took it to them and dropped it off and they made them for me. They had to order the blanks and then custom made the keys. I was very satisfied they could make them for me.

They did a great job. They did an excellent job. They make keys for us all the time but it was the first time we had used them for locks.
