DHI Sprinkler Systems

I called Dale and left him a message. Dale returned my call within 24 hours and set a service date at the end of that same week. Dale arrived 15 minutes early...yay! We hired Dale because one of our zones wasn't working. We wanted the repair done and then have him get the system up and running. He found another zone that didn't work, several heads that needed replacing and a split in the standpipe. Dale fixed everything in a little over 2 hours. When he handed me the bill, I was pleasantly surprised. I definitely expected to pay more for all the work that he did. Dale was professional and pleasant. We will definitely use him again.

Everything went very well. It was quick and simple. We had bought a year long spring/winter service. The price reflected is just my guess at the winter price.

He was prompt, professional and courteous. I was told I needed 3 sprinkler heads and he said they were fine. He did resolve a different issue for me. Be seemed to be straight forward and honest.

The company was great. The owner called me right away, worked around my schedule, came out and winterized the sprinkler in about half an hour. Was very cordial throughout and did exactly as he said he would.

They have been personable, responsive, the crew was outstanding, the work done with quality and excellence. So happy that we used these guys. So happy I don't have to drag a hose all over the yard this summer!!

Very professional guys who really know their field. I have a very difficult yard for other estimates I got, but it was not a problem for them. I have 1/3 acre with a sloping walk out lot, trees, and many gardens, Dale had great solutions for all, and it all works great!! Based on other quotes given in the past, I thought I would never be able to afford having my whole yard set up with a great sprinkler system, but I am so happy I tried one more quote! They also came out in fall to shut it down and will be out in spring to start it up, I am so happy, and no more dried up lawn!

It went OK. He was only going to blow out each zone once. But I insisted he go around a second time as that was what I was accustomed to with my regular service. He wasn't happy because he was so busy trying to meet the demand of all the customers with this coupon, but he finally complied. I'm just going to use my regular company from now on. It's a lot of money to pay someone to hook up a compressor for a few minutes. I shouldn't have to be so pushy to get it done the way I want it.

We are extremely impressed with Dale. His work is top notch and he is also a great guy. He installed our wonderful lawn irrigation system and has been very helpful in helping out us newbies. This summer we had water in our basement and he came over and dug up the area near the house to verify the system was not at fault. It ended up being a clogged sewer drain backing up into the basement. He never charged us for this extra service. That's is just the kind of guy he is. A real pleasure to do business with. We highly recommend him.

We have used DHI three times now, I think. Each time has gone fine - the company knows its craft. Only issue my wife has is that the company sets up the appointment in advance, then it is difficult to communicate and reschedule if that date does not work. I'm sure scheduling is tough, so will let that go and continue to use DHI.

The installation went great. They workers were very professional & did a great job. They installed & tested the equiptment. After completion Dale gave me instructions on how the system worked & was told to call if I had any questions.

Scheduling smooth, arrival punctual, work good.

Provided a bid which was less than other bids. Came when scheduled and performed the work. Provided an orientation on the equipment. Cleaned up and repaired lawn after the work was completed. Came back to replace a bad sprinkler head. Also performed fall shut down. Was very nice to work with. Would recommend DHI, very happy with the end result.

Their price was in the middle of all of the bids we got. They had the best plan, best details for the work. They were on time and were proactive in scheduling follow up services.

It went super well. I got a complete estimate and they explained everything they would do. I sent in a 50% deposit and soon had a scheduled date. Before the install, the entire yard was marked for buried hazards (and my yard as full of them being a corner lot). The day of the install, Dale arrived early and began laying out where the heads would go. I left for work and left the house open so the plumber could add the manifold. When I arrived home, Dale and crew had left and the sprinkler system was up and running. The plumbing changes were excellently done and the inspector had been by to approve them before the day was out. Dale dropped by a few days later and fully explained the operation. I did later have a few adjustments that needed to be made and they were out the same day to do them. I would gladly hire DHI again and highly recommend them.

Dale and team did an amazing job. Needed to replace a number of old plumbing valves to ensure maximum volume over our nearly 1/2 acre property. Did everything in two days! Awesome system and great experience from start to finish. Seriously don't look anywhere else - Dale is best.

top notch all the way around! I had an exisiting sprinkler system that didn't water many spots evenly and with tree growth and other items added to the yard the sprinkler system needed to be updated. Dale came out gave me a quote and we talked about quite a few options. You can tell he takes pride in his work. Ever place he had to dig he filled back in like it never happened. Dale came back out about a week later and walked me through the new controller and it's very easy to operate. A very good experience!

We have used DHI for the past t2 years for sprinkler system start-up, shutdown and repairs. Dale is always on time, does an excellent job, communicates well and is easy to work with. During start-up and shut down he also takes care of minor repairs. His services are priced very reasonably, something that is possible because Dale is the business. No large overhead to support. Our small association (8 homeowners) is extremely happy with his service and recommend him highly to anyone needing this type of service.

Dale came as scheduled, opened our system, check out all of the heads to be certain they were functioning as needed, and replaced a cover which had cracked during the winter, at no additional cost to us. He also set the timer so we were good to go for the summer. In the fall he comes and blows out the system. He is reliable, and very knowledgable about various systems.

We just moved into a new house and the sprinklers were not working correctly. I called Dale at DHI and he responded the same day and came out the next day. I was very happy with his work. He even showed me a broken sprinkler head that he could have replaced but told me that it really wasn't needed in that area and gave me the choice. I signed up and paid for a yearly service agreement that included winterizing the system this fall. Dale was very prompt and helpful and I appreciated how quickly he got everything working correctly.

We contacted Dale Hurt of DHI Sprinkler Systems in later April concerning a leak in the faucet component of our sprinkler system and a defective sprinkler head. He returned our call and visited the same day. He determined the problem, described the solution, and gave us a rough estimate of cost. We said there was no hurry as we would be out of town. He gave us a date by which the work would be completed. The work was completed successfully by that date for a cost close to the rough estimate. His manner was cordial and professional.

I had planned to replace some sod, and wanted to add an irrigation system before the lawn work so the grass would hopefully not die a second time. The sod company I hired recommended DHI, and since Dale's bid was comparable to the others I received I decided to go with him. Dale was out here with a small crew over parts of two days. I'm happy with the end result. There were a couple of minor problems that Dale had to take care of after the install was complete, but he was always responsive. In fact, he came out late in the evening to look at one problem (a zone wasn't working) so I wouldn't have to take off work to meet him during the day. He offers a good warranty, and I'm comfortable having him do all of the yearly maintenance.
