Description of Work: Carpet replacement in family room.

Description of Work: Removed living room, den and hall carpet. Installed laminate in these areas and the kitchen. Had a few glitches in finding underlayment that met condo rules; then did some unexpected repair to floor before installation. All worked out. Excellent service in office beforehand.

Description of Work: Carpeted living room, sun room, master bedroom, walk-in closet. Was so pleased with the finished product. It was great from start to finish. They even did our job on two separate days so we could move the furniture out and put back in after they finished one room. Carpet installer was very professional and steady worker. He explained everything we needed to know. There was one bump in the road. When he was working on the last room he found a flaw in the carpet from the manufacture and got right on it. So happy that he brought it to our attention. CBL contacted the manufacture and they supplied another roll of carpet within one week and CBL made it up to us for having to wait. A very happy customer!

Description of Work: CBL was recommended to us by our general contractor. Brandon came out to the house a few days after out initial call and met with my husband to see the 2 lower level rooms that needed the foundation leveled out so that we could install engineered hardwood flooring ourselves. We decided we wanted to use them for the job, but it took several phone calls directly to Brandon's cell phone before we finally got a response that he would come out to do the job. The morning of the job, he arrived at the house without the proper tool he needed to rip out a small area of tile that was in the bedroom closet, claiming "Those closet doors must have been on. I would have seen that, I'm a flooring guy," when in fact the closet doors hadn't been on for months. He returned a few days later, ripped out the tiles and used the self-leveling cement. About 3 weeks later, my husband and I decided we didn't want to lay the new floor ourselves after all, and called Brandon to see if he would be interested in installing the new floors. I left him a voicemail and he never returned my call. Last week we had a flooring company out here to install the new floors, and they were shocked that we had paid a professional company to do this self-leveling cement. To me, as a consumer, it had appeared "OK." I knew there were some pretty big "drops offs" from the new layer of cement to the original foundation, but I had figured that if a flooring guy had done it, it must have been OK. The new company spent about 2 hours trying to salvage the floor. He painstakingly cut this padding stuff trying to fill in the low spots and "drop-offs." Of course I had initially been very annoyed the Brandon hadn't returned my call, but now I am so happy we didn't have them lay the new floor. Who knows how it would have turned out.
