It was excellent. They were very considerate about the children in the home.

I called them and left them a message about the problem I was having, they called me back and left me a message saying that they no longer dealt with moles but he was very nice and recommended us a product to try so we could remove the moles.

I had previously used Aardvark for a pest problem, and called Dirk about an infestation in my basement laundry room (which was spreading to other rooms) of tiny beetles. I sent a picture (copy attached in case you're interested) and he diagnosed drugstore beetles. He advised finding the source of the contamination, eliminating it, and then running the humidifier on high. If that didn't solve the problem, he would have to come and apply a residual pesticide. I followed his advice (they were in a bag of organic fertilizer that included corn gluten), and the problem was solved with no need of pesticides. Dirk's willingness to deal with my problem even though it meant no profit to him was impressive. I can not recommend him highly enough.

Excellent service all around! Dirk contacted me within 2 hours after I left a message on his phone message recorder (on a Saturday!). Within an hour after he contacted me he arrived at my home and eradicated the yellow jacket nest. I would DEFINITELY use him again for any pest control problems!

Quick, professional and respectful. Now I wait three days to see if the ants are gone. Helped me understand what types of ants are around and in my home to know the difference. Other pest issue will have to be dealt with in the fall since not a current problem. It was nice to be able to contact by e-mail or phone for information.

Our experience was great. They came and they took care of the extermination. They did a good job. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

Durk is awesome and listens to all of my concerns. He does a great job and seems very thorough. He is very nice and knowledgeable and I feel that I've really seen results from his work. He's also very responsive, coming out only a few days after I call him; when he gets here he gets right to work. The approximate cost listed is per visit.

We had a mouse visiting our bedroom on the second floor of our house. We caught one and thought that was the end of it, but another showed up several days later. Consequently, we decided to call in Dirk, who had been here 2 years ago when we had a major mouse problem. Dirk returned my call the same day and set up a time convenient to both of us and showed up on time. He performed the work efficiently and completely - to our satisfaction. Dirk is very pleasant to work with and is thorough in his investigation of the situation. His price is very fair.

Dirk is always on time and does a great job. He recommended ways to save money by spraying on the outside perimeter of the house instead of everywhere inside. This seemed to do the job and greatly reduced the number of misc bugs in the house (not to mention reducing my exposure to insecticides!).

I phoned Aardvark on Wednesday, August 1, and Dirk was over at 9:30 the following morning, reassuring me that he would take care of the problem. The yellow jackets had taken up residence beneath one of our bay windows, and it was impossible to visualize exactly where they were nesting. To one terrified of bees, it seemed like there were millions of them...certainly there was so much activity that we couldn't enjoy our patio area. Dirk applied two different treatments, one to kill immediately and the other to work over 3-4 days to finish the rest of them off. By the following day, Friday, there was no more activity. I also asked him to treat in some areas that we had occasional problems with ants, and another with thrips, and he took care of that, as well. While he was writing up the bill, he answered many questions I had about how to get rid of chipmunks and a mole in our yard. He wrote everything down, told me where to buy some products, and gave instructions for use.

He was reasonable and very reliable. He recommended another company to fix the areas where the squirrels were getting in.

Just ok. I was expecting more based on the other reports submitted. As part of the service, Dirk identified and said he would seal two potential areas where pests could enter our house. However, when I checked before paying him he had only half-repaired one spot and didn't do the other. I reminded him about this, so he finished the repair for one spot but then gave me the caulk to fix the other one myself. He seemed put upon that I expected him to finish things even though we had discussed this in advance. I also asked him to lay traps for a field mouse we had in the back yard, but he didn't seem interested and recommended I do it myself. I appreciated the fact that he climbed on the roof to apply pest control there but he told me several times he doesn't like to go on the roof. Maybe he was having a bad day but overall he didn't seem very enthused about things. Finally, there was a minor price increase ($5.00) when he gave me the bill. I think he forgot what he quoted me.

It worked! Dirk said it would take 5-7 days for the ants to track the poison back to the main nest and any satellite nests. We noticed an immediate reduction in ants. Like clockwork, the last ant we've seen was 6 days after spraying. Dirk said that if we did see any ants, he would come back and re-spray. So far it looks like that won't be necessary. The work was done quietly. I didn't even realize they were here. Besides doing a great job, Dirk saved me about a hundred dollars compared to the other bids I got.

Dirk Dubois did a great job. He answered my call promptly and came to the house within 24 hours to consult and apply the ant killer. He also recommended LaCasse Construction to do the repair work which turned out to be a very positive experience. Dirk was timely and professional. I am pleased with the work.

Dirk was able to squeeze me in on a Friday Night(YEAH), he was on time and prepared for the job! Dirk not only prevented my low life roommate from re-entering my house, he was perfect in counseling my irrational fear of something probably about 1/100th my size. He explained what he was doing and how to prevent this from happening again and was very conscientious of my family and the chemicals he used! Dirk explained everything, showed me how I could seal up any additional portals I may find, and what to look & listen for in the future! Dirk is really knowledgeable about his job and for sure is a great choice for your job!! He is also really great about follow-up visits if necessary!

Dirk is professional and courteous. He often lets his phone go to voicemail, but always returns calls promptly. He does the work himself and didn't seem to mind me constantly looking over his shoulder and asking questions. The traps he set on the first visit continued catching mice (after being re-set) for about two months and have since been untouched despite being moved as he suggested. We haven't had any re-occurrences of the 'bathroom mouse home' incident. In the beginning of August, our screened porch became the nesting ground for a massive army of Box Elder bugs. We called Dirk again, and he came over to spray while my wife and I were on vacation. By the time we returned, you would never be able to tell that the bugs had been there. The spraying cost $80. Once again, Dirk delivered on his promises. We will definitely call him in the future!

Dirk was on time, friendly and and answered all our questions. I felt the price was reasonable and that he gave cost-effective ways for us to finish sealing off some areas ourselves instead of just charging us more money.

The owner was on time, very courteous, willing to answer questions, and was straightforward/no-nonsense in his answers. He was willing to come out for additional help as needed. I would definitely recommend. The pricing is reasonable, overall, especially compared to other options in the area.

CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE AND THEY OUTRIGHT REFUSED TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE OVER THE TELEPHONE AND TO SERVICE MY AREA. THEY WERE RUDE ON THE TELEPHONE. I LIVE IN RAMSEY COUNTY, IN ST. PAUL WHERE THEY COULD HAVE OFFERED SERVICE. BUT WOULD NOT BASED ON TRAVEL AND COST OF GAS IN THE TIME FRAME.

CAUGHT A COUPLE OF MICE IN MY BASEMENT LAST SEPTEMBER. I CALLED AARDVARK PEST CONTROL. DIRK DUBOIS CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY. HE CHECKED ALL AROUND THE HOUSE AND EVEN THE ROOF. SUGGESTED A FEW SPOTS TO CAULK IN THE GARAGE AND ON THE FOUNDATION I HAD MISSED. HE DID NOT CHARGE FOR THE CALL AND SAID TO CALL HIM BACK IF THERE WERE ANY MORE PROBLEMS. I CAUGHT TWO MORE ABOUT 2-3 DAYS LATER. I RECALLED DIRK AND HE CAME BACK AND RECHECKED EVERYTHING AND FILLED IN ALL POSSIBLE ENTRIES. AT THIS POINT WE WEREN'T SURE IF I HAD SEALED THE MICE ESCAPE ROUTE A FEW DAYS PREVIOUS AND THEY HAD NO WAY OUT. HE DID A GOOD JOB, USING FOAM SEALANT AND EVEN SOME CEMENT WORK. THAT WAS ABOUT 6-7 WEEKS AGO AND NOTHINGS BEEN STIRRING, NOT EVEN A MOUSE. HE ALSO TOOK CARE OF A LOT OF BOX ELDER BUGS THAT WERE SWARMING MY GARAGE DOOR AT THE TIME. HE DID A THOROUGH JOB AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE AND WOULDN'T HESITATE TO CALL HIM AGAIN IF PROBLEMS ARISE.
