On time and very thorough and complete

He came the same day I called, and sprayed along baseboards, outside of house and along windows, and explained about my problem, and what to expect, and told me to call within a week if I kept having issues. I did, called him back, he explained it might take a bit for the chemical to work thru all the ones in the walls, and to give it a bit more time to work, and said he would come back and respray under the siding if needed the following week. Sure enough after some more time passed, they all died and eventually we quit having the problem at all. He knows what he is talking about, really knows his stuff. Very affordable and used him previously with a bee issue. Will definitely call again and again if needed.

I called a few days ago and left a message we were looking for an estimate and never received a call back. Guess they are too busy but a 30 second phone call would have been appreciated.

They're excellent. They're always very careful. They're very mindful of our pets. They're all around good. They're very convenient. They come out when it's good for us.

Dirk Dubois, the owner, came out within a half hour of calling, he was located locally here in Hugo, MN. Offered us cheaper price if we paid in cash, which we didn't have but even paying regular payment was WAY less than half what all the others on Angie's list charged. He was extremely professional,friendly, informative, and all around nice guy. Don't waste your money on anyone else and make sure to call him first. You won't get great service like this at such a great price anywhere else!

My sons had tried to get rid of the bees but were unsuccessful. They were swarming around my front door. He was very nice and professional. My daughter was here and felt the same way! I was thrilled with the price! He was very prompt.

Filled the holes outside where they were coming into the house and garage, set 13 traps throughout the upper and lower levels and garage and even disposed of a couple of dead mice they found. I am very happy with the results so far as have caught 2 mice and will continue to watch the traps for more.

It was quick and effective. He guaranteed his service, saying that once if warmed up if the ants came back, he would treat again for free. So far so good!

Wow, this guy is fast, fairly priced, and effective. I wouldn't bother calling anyone else.

Kirk Dubois came out. He did a great job and quickly identified a bird making the noise. After a few minutes the problem was solved without harm to the bird. Great job, he was prompt and only charged $70.

He was on time, professional and the cost of service was reasonable. We also received a discount for being an Angie's List member. We've used his services about 5 years ago, and would call on him again if needed.

He said that he was already booked and didn't need my business.

He is more reasonable than most of them. He is a marine biologist and is extremely knowledgeable. He is very helpful, cooperative, and way overqualified.

About 15 years ago, red squirrels suddenly appeared on my property and ever since, they have considered my house a giant chew toy that they wanted to live in. This is the 4th time I have had to have pest control work done on my house. The house is over 100 years old with a lot of wood & the squirrels are constantly chewing on the house to get in. It's been about 7 years since the last pest control company was out to do any work. The last experience was not a good one so I kept putting off looking for a new company to come out and work on my squirrel problem. This time, was a totally different experience. Dirk was on time for the first appointment, gave me some idea what work would be required on the job & gave me an accurate quote. Dirk set traps, and set up one way escapes so that no squirrels would be sealed into my house. After the work was done, he sealed up the holes with metal flashing. Previous companies had only stuffed wire screen or foam in the holes & which were easy for the squirrels to pull out again. One thing that Dirk did that none of the other companies had done was to actually get up on my roof which is quite high, and examine all the eaves for any additional squirrel damage. Something none of the previous companies had done. All in all, I was very pleased with the service.

He is outstanding. I thought the charge was very reasonable for the service provided. He is very good at what he does. He is very good at customer relationships. He is genuine, likable, smart and funny. I came to regard him as a friend even though I do not have regular contact with him. I think he went above and beyond to take care of the problem.

He is always concerned. He tries to do the best job with the phase of products available. In terms of price, he is a little bit higher because of the products he uses.

I can't answer this exactly. However I can say that when Dirk got here he went to work in a professional and efficient manner. He explained everything he did and why he did it. Very experienced and knowledgable about his business. For what was done the price was outstanding.

I am happy with the work and value of this company. The first year I got some quotes from a few other companies that do a lot of advertising, and their prices were significantly higher. Dirk has been very accomodating, and when I told him I had mice in my garage a few times, he sprayed around the garage, and the house for free. The boxelder issue has been resolved, and I would recommend him for pest control.

We called Dirk after a disappointing experience with another exterminator. He agreed to come out after the holiday weekend. He has been to our home before. He walked through the home and we told him where we had seen some mice. We had set some traps on our own and he gave us suggestions on where/how to better place them. He set some additional traps. On the outside he showed us where he plugged some holes and gave us suggestions where our house might settle and cause problems in the future. He also treated some ants (that we didn't even realize should be concerning) on our sidewalk and garage. He gave us a discount as previous customers. He told us to call him if we didn't see any improvement in our situation. We've caught one mouse since his visit, but haven't seen any live mice.

I have always used do-it-yourself pest sprays in the past during the summers if I saw bugs. However, I was planning to put my house on the market and wanted to ensure that any potential buyer that looked at my house didn't spot any bugs, no matter how infrequent the bugs were. It has now been almost a month during a very warm and humid summer since the spray was applied and I'm happy to report that I haven't spotted any bugs crawling around in the house since. Dirk, the owner, arrived on time and I enjoyed working with him. His bid came in a few dollars less than the competition.

Contractor was very punctual, polite, friendly and professional. I had just asked him to stop by for an estimate, but he had time that morning to actually do the work. Ants were all gone within a day.

I hadn’t used him before. He talked to me on the phone and showed up on time. He came out and looked around the house and gave me some suggestions. He asked me to close the hole in the foundation, in order to keep the mice out. He recommended a product for eradicating the mice. He didn’t even charge me for that. I called him again for the squirrel problem in my attic. He told me that he didn’t deal with squirrels. So, he recommended somebody that came out and did the job. I’ll definitely use him again in the future.

They do a great job. Very responsive. For the kind of bugs we had, he recommended using a dehumidifier rather than spraying inside. We had neighbors who recommended him. We haven't seen an ant since he's sprayed.

Dirk, the owner, was great to work with. He made himself available to come to our home on my vacation day. We had been trying to treat ants ourselves for several months, but they kept coming back. Dirk mentioned on the phone that there was probably a nest in the wall and that we needed a treatment that the ants would carry back to the nest. He treated the areas with a pesticide. We were to keep our pets away from the area for an hour to allow time for the area to dry, but after that it would not be harmful to them. He said that the treatment would take 3 - 7 days and if we saw any activity after that time, to call him and he would come back. Actually, within 2 days we saw no more activity. We plan to have him treat our yard for ants this spring, as we have a lot of ant activity there also. He is very knowledgable, friendly, and his costs are very fair. Also, a discount for Angie's List customers.
