Description of Work: I appreciate them inspecting the windshield thoroughly before installation because it had a scratch in it. They let me decide what I wanted to do. The next day they came to me with a different windshield.

Description of Work: Harmon sent their mechanic to my house to replace my truck's front windshield due to a crack. Arrived on time. Explained the proceedure and went to work. Completed in about 2 hours. The mechanic was very personable and did a fantastic job!

Description of Work: Harmon Auto Glass replaced the rear window on my Honda-CRV on short notice so I could use the car on a trip. I arrived on time in the morning and things seemed a bit in disarray. As it turned out, the paperwork said windshield instead of rear window. Nevertheless, they got me out the door at the promised time and made a smart recommendation about replacing a part (the little fluid nozzle) that was also broken in the incident. Overall I'm pleased with their work.

Description of Work: The tech drove to our office location and met me in the parking ramp. He was in contact with me prior to his arrival so I knew when to expect him. He was very professional and the service was performed quickly. The person who I called to request service (a different person) communicated the wrong address (home vs. work) for him to go to, so would have been good for him to confirm my address prior, but he was good about communicating the issue and his arrival time.

+ -1 moreHe was very friendly and polite, and got the job done quickly. I just wish they'd had a smaller time frame, they said he'd be there between 8am and 4pm, and he didn't get there until 3:40, so I had to sit around at the house all day. Otherwise a good experience.

+ -1 moreHe was on time and quick. He did good work. I was upset with the builder of my late model foreign car for their proprietary behavior. That makes it difficult for me to work on it, so I specifically asked for a Generic windshield. The sound insulation is better so that I don't hear outside noises (ie, trucks, Harleys) as much. Unfortunately, I can now hear squeeks and rattles. I was pleased indeed.

+ -1 moreI called Harmon Auto Glass on University Ave. in St. Paul late that afternoon. I was given an appointment the next morning. They dealt with insurance, and I was not billed. The glass from their supplier was late arriving at the office, so I had to wait longer than planned, but the worker did what he could to keep the wait to a minimum. The work seemed to be well done, and the company was easy to deal with.
Description of Work: They replaced the rear windshield of my van that had been smashed by a vandal.

+ -1 moreIT TURNED OUT THAT THERE WAS SOME RUST OR CORROSION AROUND WHERE THE NEW WINDSHIELD NEEDED TO BE SEALED IN PLACE. THEY WENT AHEAD AND SANDED IT, WHICH I APPRECIATED, ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A LAYER OF DUST FROM THE SANDING ALL OVER THE INSIDE OF MY CAR. MY INSURANCE COVERED THE BILL, AND I DID NOT COMPLAIN THAT I HAD TO CLEAN THE INSIDE OF MY CAR.
Description of Work: THERE WAS A 6 INCH LONG CRACK IN MY WINDSHIELD. I NEEDED TO HAVE IT REPLACED.

THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AT WORK. THE GENTLEMAN WHO DID THE REPAIR DID A GREAT JOB, PUT THE RECEIPT ON MY DRIVER'S SEAT AND LOCKED THE DOOR UPON COMPLETION.

I WORK IN DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS, SO I DROPPED IT OFF EARLY, THEY GAVE ME A RIDE TO WORK, AND LATER IN THE DAY I WALKED OVER AND PICKED IT UP. THE WINDSHIELD LOOKS GREAT, SEEMS TO BE INSTALLED WELL. THE ONLY CRITICAL COMMENT I HAVE IS THAT THEY LEFT THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR RATHER DIRTY, WITH BLACK CRUMBS ON THE DASH, STEERING WHEEL, ETC.
