They arrived promptly as promised. Bobby was very accommodating as to the homeowner's needs and concerns, and the work performed was of professional quality. At the end, he walked me through the basic operations of each system. The bid was very competitive with others I priced out, and the final price was as promised with no surprises. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Excellent. They came out a few times to repair our old furnace and were very straightforward and honest about what they could accomplish on such an old unit. They knew our furnace model and its strengths and weaknesses and immediately looked for cracked pipes in a specific spot that this 15 year old model tended to get. We had those cracks, which was dangerous. They then came to the house to talk through our options for a new furnace and air conditioner and took the time to explain everything. They were willing to install the furnace right away, and install the air conditioner later yet hold the price. The installation was like clockwork. They came within a week and arrived when they said they would. They did an outstanding job with a tough installation and did not cut corners. All the pipes fit perfectly - they even added insulation where appropriate. Once installed they explained how the furnace and air worked. I didn't even need to call them later to ask for more information.

I got estimates from 3 highly rated Angie's List members. All of them provided better than expected service from the initial phone call thru the in-home estimate. Jeff and AQS were exceptional in this part, plus the cost of the furnace portion was significantly lower than the other two, even for the same identical product. I voluntarily choose the high-end thermostat and had them fix the dryer and water heater issues. I felt very comfortable with Jeff's relaxed yet thorough approach. I was pleased with the installers and their work. After they were gone, I noticed that the new dryer hook-up came out straight toward the wall. I called Jeff and told him that even though it wasn't specifically mentioned up front, I was expecting an elbow as the first piece to the dryer so that the line would not get pressure from being snug against the wall. He had someone come out the next day to take care of it at no charge. We have an A/C nearing it's end, and AQS will be my 1st call when needed.

Fantastic! I have used AQS to maintain our old furnaces. (We have two in the house). The bid for the new furnace came in right in line, and they did all the new air returns for a very reasonable price. The work was done on time; they always show up when they say they will. They cleaned up after all work and the work that was done was sleek and used the existing space well. When Brad came out to install the furnace, he suggested changing the proposed location of the new air return. His suggestion is much better than the original plan. It is in a more efficient place, looks better, and is providing better heating results on that level of the house. I am glad he made the suggestion.

My 18-year-old furnace started having problems. The pilot light would ignite but the rest of the gas wouldn't. Contacted AQS due to their rating here and because they were local to me. They were able to come out the same day I called. Bernie arrive right on time and came in, removing his shoes. He diagnosed the problem as the ignition module, gave me an estimate on the replacement part and labor, and made sure I wanted to sink that kind of money into such an old furnace. Since I am not in a position to get a brand new furnace at this time, I told him to go ahead. He double-checked the part he had on hand was a listed replacement for the module in my furnace and replaced it. He also checked that my thermostat was working properly and showed me where the batteries for it were located. Since I didn't even know it used batteries, that was good information to have. Arrival to departure, in under an hour I had heat flowing in my house again. All in all, a very satisfying experience.

Recently the gas company informed me that an auxiliary heater I had in the family room had to be brought up to code. An emergency valve had to be installed in order to be brought up to code. I called AQS because they installed a main furnace and A/C unit in the past with great service. They came promptly when I contacted them about the heater in my family room being out. The unit was not originally installed by them. They were very professional, proficient, and courteous. They had the problem solved very quickly. I think they represent the best in what a consumer would like to see in all companies. I would recommend this company to anyone. I can't remember the exact price but it was less than I expected.

We had an excellent experience with AQS. Jeff and his brother Brad gave us first-class service, doing the job with intelligence and professionalism. We had four different companies provide bids, and AQS out shined them all. We had many questions after the initial bid, and AQS always responded with the information we needed. More importantly, the installation itself occurred without a hitch and on time. We recommend AQS without reservation!

I own a 20 year old condo in which the entire air conditioner died. It was a unique design, size, and not code. 3 companies took a look and gave estimates from 5,000 to 10,000. Jeff from AQS gave the clearest explanation of the issues. He was also the most encouraging that the difficulties could be solved. Other companies said the new unit would hang low and my shelving would need to be removed permanently. Jeff and his brother Brad who are owners, solved the problem, Brad installed it and it fits beautifully. It took time to find and get the unit, but not unusually long, and we communicated by email. I trusted them completely in the house alone, and Brad was extremely careful and neat. He was careful about protecting my wood floors. When a piece of wiring connected to the thermostat failed the next day, Brad returned immediately, spent time searching for the problem, replaced the thermostat with a programmable & did so at no charge. It was clear they want to do a perfect job.

The A/C conked out on Wednesday night. I searched Angie's List for a reputable company. I noticed that the highest rated company didn't actually do any repairs, instead, they seemed to do a lot of installations. Our unit is probably ready for replacement, but we can't afford it right now. I called AQS Thursday morning. The lady said it would $99 for a visit but it could apply toward a new unit. A friendly and professional technician came out that afternoon. He found two fuses out in the back near the A/C (that we didn't even know we had). One had blown so he replaced them both. I was pleased that he had them in his van and didn't need to chase them around back at the shop or something. During the 7-1/2 minutes we had to wait for the A/C to turn back on, he explained to me about simple maintenance I could do to keep the A/C running smoothly. I told him that when it came time to install a new A/C, the simple repair AQS did would automatically get them the job of installation.

On a recent hot and muggy evening, my air conditioning failed. At 7 a.m the following morning, I called and spoke to Jeff. By 8:30 a.m Bernie arrived on my doorstep and 45 minutes later my AC was back at full blast. Bernie explained the problem clearly and performed the maintenance (adding coolant to the system) efficiently. Additionally he provided helpful information about how to maintain my system. I will definitely use this company in the future, Great service, good value.

From our initial contact with Jeff, we were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He presented two different (comparably priced) option packages (Lennox and Bryant) explaining the differences/similarities, but never tried to sway us toward a particular brand. We received 3 other bids, and each one tried to push a particular brand as well as expensive options that we did not need. Jeff understood our heating and cooling needs and was able to determine the best system at the best price with best warranty. The installation crew arrived right on time and completed the job in one day. They did a great job and cleaned up well after themselves. Aside from a couple of minor adjustments that the city inspector wanted done, the entire process went very smoothly. Everyone at AQS was approachable and professional. All phone calls were answered or returned in a timely manner. They valued our business and even sent a thank you note for allowing them to bid on the project!

My A/C compressor would not start this spring after working fine through the fall. I had called another company with whom we had a good experience on a plumbing repair - they said the compressor was shot, and gave me three estimates for replacing the compressor alone, the compressor and coils, and a whole new HVAC. I called AQS to get a second bid/opinion. They were pleasant on the phone, and had a tech at the house later the same day I called. Bernie was very pleasant, and found a failed capacitor as the cause of the problem. He was able to replace it right then, did a system check, and had me back in cool dry air in less than an hour. And for $1300 - $5500 less than the other guys! Bernie also recommended that I clean out the coils on the outside compressor to help with efficiency.

The service was amazing. We placed a call at 9:30 am and had a technician at our house by 12:30. He closely inspected all parts of the furnace and explained what was wrong, had the part on the truck and replaced it immediately. After completing the repair he covered basic furnace upkeep with us and what we should do annually for maintenance. He also showed us how to use and maintain a air flow intake system that was in the house that we knew nothing about. He went above and beyond the service call.

I called on a Saturday morning when my A/C was blowing hot air into the house. AQS returned my call less than an hour later. We scheduled the appointment for 7am on Monday morning. They arrived promptly at 7am, one hour and one part later, the A/C unit was fixed. Great experience!

AQS sent out a technician within a few hours on a Saturday to repair the furnace when it failed to ignite. He cleaned several parts and replaced the pressure sensor, spending nearly two hours identifying the intermittent problem. The furnace worked fine for a week. The same technician talked me through some items on the phone late at night that got the furnace working again. A few days later, the furnace failed to ignite again. AQS sent another technician out within hours (at no charge). He replaced the electronic board, which has corrected the problem. Every person involved was professional and on time. They were willing to take considerable time to identify why the furnace worked most of the time, but not all the time. They never tried to sell us a new furnace to replace the existing one. Their charge for the emergency service call was considerably cheaper than other companies I contacted.

Called to schedule an estimate on furnace replacement. Owner was out of the office at a meeting and I was told he would call me in the morning. He called as stated. I told him I would like to get an estimate and assumed we would schedule a time. He asked me the square footage of my house and how many btu's are required. I thought he was the furnace expert, not me. He gave me a starting price and told me to call back if I was interested in having him come out and give me a firm estimate. I thought that's why I was calling. Huh?! I found that weird and went with another contractor.

AQS could not have been more professional, courteous and prompt. They came by to let us know what we needed to do to prepare for installation and returned to adjust the air flow in the house. They were responsive to our questions and our needs.

Bernie VonRuden came out same day at the time agreed upon. He was very polite and professional about the work. We were satisfied with the work and price. We would call him again if we need any work done.

I cannot remember anytime I have made a purchase and have felt so positive about a company. From the time I contacted them i was impressed with the person ell and how they represented the company. John the sales man was very through, knowledgeable, and patient. Then men who installed the unit were prompt polite and proficient. The local electrical inspector praised their work.

MY FURNACE WAS NOT WORKING SO I ASKED AROUND AT WORK FOR RECOMMENDATION AND RECEIVED THIS COMPANY. HE HAD GREAT LUCK WITH THEM. I CHECKED THE LIST AND THEY HAD POSITIVE REVIEWS. I CALLED THEM AND LEFT A MESSAGE ON THEIR VOICEMAIL. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. MY COWORKER SUGGESTED CALLING AGAIN, SO I DID AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME THE NEXT MORNING TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. THEY DID NOT CALL BACK, SO I CALLED BACK, GAVE THEM MY FURNACE MODEL NUMBER AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT DAY. THE REPAIRMAN ARRIVED PROMPTLY, CHECKED MY FURNACE AND SAID THAT THEY DO NOT FIX MY TYPE OF FURNACE, SINCE THEY ARE NOT MADE ANYMORE (LENNOX PULSE). HE APOLOGIZED AND CALLED HIS OFFICE AND THEY SAID THEY KNOW A DIFFERENT COMPANY THAT HANDLES THIS MODEL AND ASKED IF I WOULD LIKE THEM TO CONTACT ME. I SAID YES, BUT NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE AND ENDED UP GOING WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY (GOLDEN VALLEY).

THE REPAIRMAN WAS YOUNG, BUT VERY POLITE, AND DID A GOOD JOB. HE OFFERED TO FIX AND ORDER A PART FOR A VERY FAIR PRICE. THEY ALWAYS CLEAN UP AFTER ANY WORK DONE.

I HAD FIVE SEPARATE QUOTES FOR AC AND JOHN, THE SALESMAN, WAS THE MOST ATTENTIVE TO WHAT I NEEDED AND EXPLAINED HOW THIS SYSTEM WOULD FIT MY HOUSE MOST EFFUSIVELY AND WITHIN MY BUDGET. JEFF AND HIS TEAM WERE ON TIME AND CLEANED UP MOST OF THEIR MESS (SOME METAL SHAVINGS REMAINED). I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED THAT THE ELECTRICIAN HAD REMOVED THE BACKING FROM THE OLD THERMOSTAT BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW ONE OVER IT. THE OLD BACKING STUCK OUT AROUND THE NEW THERMOSTAT AND WAS A DIFFERENT COLOR FROM THE WALLS. BUT IT WAS EASY ENOUGH TO FIX.

WHEN THE INSPECTOR CAME TO CHECK HE SAID IT WAS THE BEST JOB THAT HE HAD EVER SEEN. THEY WERE VERY, VERY GOOD. THEY WERE HERE ON TIME AND ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE.
