Purchased the special $199 through Angie's List. The company representative was great - came out in early April, met me and my dog, and gave me a quote for the deck footage that was not covered in the deal. I asked for a quote on the gazebo to clean and stain, and possibly replace the screens. I was told I would have the quote in a week or so. Never heard from the company until I contacted them. I was told they had been overwhelmed with response to the special and may be able to get to the deck in late May or early June. While I was not happy about this, what could I do? I cancelled the work on the gazebo as they had not provided that yet. June was wet, but they cleaned the deck; then it rained, and they came out and cleaned again in late June. There were emails that went back and forth, and I was generally kept informed. There was a problem with one email not going through, but this may have been an Angie's List issue. I was not told when they would be out to actually stain, but came home one day and almost let the dog out when I noticed the deck was darker and still wet. The stain job was not the best; rolled on, not evenly coated, missed in some places, can see drip lines in between the boards, left the used rollers in the yard, and to this day, the deck is still sticky. While it's nice to have it done, I had hoped that by paying a professional, they could have done a better job. I am giving them a "C" and not a lower mark on responsiveness because the rain did hamper the project.

Bought a deck restore deal. After estimate job ended up costing double what the deal was. Took months to complete. I know weather was a problem but he sent out a teenager to power wash and paint my deck. Very poor power wash and sloppy paint job. Showed up unannounced to do the work and very unresponsive to email and phone calls. Advertise as a "veteran owned " business, which is fine, but if I wanted to hire the high school kid down the street to paint my deck, I would have, except I would have supervised him to make sure he did a good job and cleaned up after himself. Paint all over, nothing covered with drop clothes, just an all around unprofessional paint job. Repairs were adequate, paint job not so much. Just figure we will see how long this so called paint job lasts and have the entire deck replaced next time, by someone else. Advice to owner, call before you come, supervise the workers, don't get paint everywhere and clean up after yourself. Advice to other members, hire someone else. We had another person paint our front porch at the same time and the difference in quality between the two jobs is amazing. Should have hired the other guy to do the deck too. This is the last deal we will be buying from Angie's list.

Roof Inspection good; Satellite dish removal excellent, cleaning of dryer vent excellent. They can supply pictures of finished work but be sure to ask in advance for which pictures you want. They left area clean.

First contacted about 3 or 4 months ago and they sent someone to look at it and never heard nothing back…now they have been booked through the summer

I thought I was getting some work done and they only inspected my home to see if it needed work.

I bought the Deal early - back on March 12. It took a bit of communicating, but it was power-washed by Memorial Day. And a bit more communicating - and the staining, sealing was done by July 4. Great communicators, very professional. I'm very happy with my outcome...deck looks great!

Went well. Took a lot of photos that were sent to us so we could send to insurance company. Did light maintenance of the roof.

They did a great job. We purchased a "deal" for deck refinishing from Angie's List. They were very prompt in coming out with an estimate as the deck was larger than the "deal" specs. He was very courteous and professional and gave us a general estimate of the extra work. They were delayed in finishing the work by weather and by the large volume of people buying the same deal. But he communicated with us during the delay. The finished job is beautiful and we are very pleased with the look and quality.

WE COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED! Aim High Construction will definitely be the "go to" company for any sort of deck work in the future. We had contact with two of the Aim High folks, i.e. Chris, who estimated the job and Keith, who completed the work. Both were genuinely nice guys, looking to more than satisfy the customer! We had the most contact with Keith. Given the weather, sealing a deck thus far this year has been a challenge. For us there was no hurry. Roughly two weeks ago, between some rain showers, Keith did the powering washing and indicated that he would be back, weather permitting, in a week or so to apply the seal. It happened just as promised! The deck looked much improved after the power washing, but today's seal finished the job better than expected! Bottom-line: Aim High is genuinely friendly people, focused on doing quality work at a fair price, then making it happen! THANKS GUYS! (Findiing companies like Aim High Construction is exactly the reason to use Angie's List)

These guys were great. The problem with the deal itself is that I could probably have called any roofing company and they could have done that for free. I don't think the price was any bargain at all. He took pictures and communicated all that was happening on my roof to me. He explained to me about the lawsuit against the shingle manufacturer and helped me get that started.

They were VERY nice and did good work.

The owner himself called and performed the appointment. He had mentioned over the phone that it would take an hour to do. That gave us the impression of how extensive it's going to be. My wife was home and when he came he finished his check in about 10 minutes apparently. He also mentioned he was going to check the attic but didn't do so. Not sure why. But I wouldn't nit pick beyond this since this is a small priced coupon and services are bound to be proportional to the coupon's price. I'd give them a second chance, even before I've read their follow up report that they sent in less than a week.

The job was done in a very professional way. They said that the customer is always right and, by my experience, it proved to be true. The people working on the deck worked hard and explained the process as they went along. I needed the job to be completed before Fathers Day. They committed to it and they did it.

I purchased this service in March and we just got the work done last week. Due to weather we had many delays, which I understand is not the company's fault - however, we had to continually call them to find out when/if they were going to do the work. They came out about a month ago and power washed the deck, and said they would be back in a few days to do the staining. I had a large function at my home this past week end and needed the work done prior to the function. After many phone calls, we finally got the confirmation that someone would be able to come out to finish the job prior to our function. The crew they sent out was very inexperienced and unprepared for the job. After we mentioned they were getting stain all over everything, the went and bought a tarp to put under the deck to collect the drippings - thank goodness we were home. They tried really hard to get the job done right, but obviously didn't know what they were doing. We had lawn furniture under the deck that ended up having splatters of stain all over it. We also have a hot tub adjacent to the deck on the lower level which was also splattered with stain. Again - the crew tried hard to get the job done right, but their lack of training & preparation for the job was very apparent. If you use this company - beware!

The team came out and got right to work. They were quick and efficient in spite of the heat and they cleaned up after themselves and were gone. They had to remove two layers of old shingles and also replace three plywood sheets worth of sheathing but they muscled right on thru and got it done by mid-afternoon. I love the new look and I'm very pleased.

It went great. He was fast thorough and made a little dam to keep water away from a vent that had caused me problems.

They were swamped by responses to their Angie's list offer, and so it took some time between purchase and delivery, which was completely understandable. They kept us up to date and informed about how things were going, and the weather intervened a few times. Ultimately they were champs. And we have been getting tons of compliments on their work and our neighbor now wants to use them.

We purchased a deal from Angie's List. They came out and gave us the estimate for the work and an approximate date of service. There were some delays related to weather and initially there was some miscommunication, but the owner contacted us directly and after that everything went as planned. The individual who came to stain the deck was great and it looks terrific. He even left us the remaining stain for touch ups. I would use this company again.

They ere very friendly and courteous. They addressed my concerns and told us solutions for our questions about windows and roofing.

He was very nice, very forthright and told me what it would cost. Very helpful and very honest. When he gave me the cost for the full job for it to be up to code it would of been a lot more expensive than we thought and the big deal would not cover the cost.

It went very well, they were able to add more than double the insulation that was already present in my attic. The job was done in a timely fashion, the whole service took just over an hour. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done, I know I will be calling on them again.

I went into this job expecting just a basic new roof including replacing underlayment and shingles. Chris Miller and his crew went above and beyond with not only replacing the shingles, but explaining to me how code has changed over the years, and provided me the correct solution with ice and water protection across the whole roof based on my pitch. They also added a drip edge for extra protection, repaired vents, and even provided a can of paint to color match all existing roof structures that I had previously painted another color. My favorite part of the experience was that Chris asked the right questions about the interior and moisture problems with my tongue-n-groove cedar ceiling. He and his team identified a ventilation problem with the roof, added a ridge vent, and I am happy to report that my moisture problem is gone. I didn't even bring it up. He just had the experience to ask the right questions and offer up the right solution. Wonderful experience!
