[removed member name], I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our initial cleaning. I expressed to you several times that the first cleaning of your house would take considerably longer than ongoing cleanings because you were unsatisfied with your current cleaning service and their thoroughness. There were a few things that could have cut back on time considerably but they were things that you specifically asked for and there were no corners to cut. As you might recall, I suggested that we save edging all of your white carpet with the hose and brush for another time when there was not as much detail scrubbing & dusting to do. You have a large house and to vacuum the edge of all of your carpeting with a hose and brush is a time-consuming effort, as was The detail dusting of collectibles and polishing of surfaces. I recall specifically giving you the option to choose a budget that we could work around vs. accomplishing all of your requests on the same day. We could have done a general cleaning of your home for approximately $125-$150. However, we would not have been able to accomplish all of the specific detail to attention that you asked for.

Description of Work: Three young women showed up to clean my 4-bed, 3-bath home. The first time they came and spent a long time and did a very thorough cleaning. Second time was more "maintenance" cleaning, and less expensive.

I do take the time to explain to new customers that you are buying man-hours. Which means, the per hour price is per person. A two hour cleaning would take one hour for two people to accomplish.
