I thought I had a termite problem around my front door because I kept seeing piles of sawdust. I called West Side Pest Solutions and they informed me that it is rare to have termites in MN. He said it was probably carpenter ants. For $150 they came out and sprayed my house, garage and trees for ants. They answered all my questions, were very polite and let me know to call them if the problem still exists in a week. Very satisfied with their professionalism and their knowledge of pests.

Wonderful. Larry explained exactly what he was going to do at both of my houses (price listed above was per house) and he did a great job. He explained his warranty and gave me some ideas on what to do around my garden. He is very ethical/honest. How do I know? On the way into my home, he found some money on the driveway that had fallen out of my pocket. He then gave it to me upon walking in my door. I wouldn't have known if he had chosen to keep it, however, he did the right thing. Or said another way, you can judge the quality of someone's character by how they act when no one is watching. I will absolutely use Larry and West Side every year to ensure the bugs and pests stay outside.

Did what I needed them to do

Larry is super friendly and happy to explain what he is doing and how he addresses our pest needs. He investigated the full perimeter of the house first, then selected his treatment based on what he found. It worked great! All the carpenter ants we had been finding both inside and outside the house disappeared within a couple of days. We purchased a full year of service based on Larry's initial visit last fall to address the same ant problems.

I've used them twice and both times the ants have come back; they do offer a 6 month guarantee.

Searched out and terminated carpenter ants from a tree, deck, and front facia board, and sprayed around the foundation of the house. He also pointed out the affected areas and informed me as to the effectiveness of the treatment. It is guaranteed for 6 months, and he will contact me next spring and exterminate at a returning customer rate.

I had sent out an inquiry to West Side Pest Solutions on Monday (6/22), and received a response from Larry almost immediately. We scheduled a time in the afternoon on Tuesday (6/23). I was impressed by the quick response and very fast turn around time! Larry arrived at my residence a few minutes early and we conversed about the problem I was having and the best way to resolve the issue. He impressed me with his knowledge and experiences from other clients, as well as his very friendly demeanor. The overall treatment took approximately 15 minutes. Larry informed me of next steps to take and informed me that said treatment would last about 2-3 months and I may require another in the fall. He also informed me the same treatment would apply to the ants accumulating in my driveway, which was a nice bonus. I was able to pay him on the spot, and the overall process took less than an hour from arrival to departure. I highly recommend West Side and Larry if you're having bug issues. He's an extremely friendly gentleman and the service he provides is high quality. I've noticed several dead spiders (as expected) around my baseboards, and over the last two days the encounter rate of spiders in my basement has dropped to almost zero. Thank you Larry!

After purchasing the deal on Angie's List he called within a day. He was very professional, answered all questions, and completed the treatment the next Monday morning.

I called a few days ago to get some advice and information about my ant problem. Larry was extremely helpful in giving me information about what type of ant I had. I purchased the Angie's List coupon and the he scheduled to come out 2 days later. He looked at my issue and told me it was an easy fix. He treated the house and explained everything about the product he was using and the risk to my dog (which was none). He also noticed another pest issue in our house and gave me some advice about how to fix it. Above all of this, he is a very nice guy. I would/will have him back should I have additional pest issues in a heartbeat.

Went well...haven't had mice since!

There was an Angies List coupon for this provider and I had a few questions about the service and wanted to speak to the company before I committed to the coupon for ant control. I called several times and always got a recording telling me I was important. After several calls, I finally left the detailed message that it asked for. I waited 5 days and never got a call back and I decided that this company obviously didn't need my business if they couldn't return a call within 5 days and at that point, even if they would have called back, I would not have used their service.

Great, he found a hole in our chimney brick outside, as well as in the front of the house. Filled them, and set some traps up. We caught a few after the holes were patched up (within 2-3 days, and was expected). But haven't seen one since. Great job.

He is AMAZING. He was incredibly professional. Responsive. On time. Knowledgeable. Kind. He is very smart about his job and ancillary issues and totally knows his stuff and then some. I felt completely confident in his solutions. While he was willing to help me however I wanted him to with my pest issues, when I started asking a bunch of questions, I saw a charming Old School personality with a "don't fix it if it ain't broke" and "do it yourself if you can" kind of attitude. There aren't many of him left in the world. I bought a certificate for his services and everything went extremely smoothly. He was one of the most professional service persons I have ever worked with, and I highly recommend him!

Larry is great! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He assured me that the work he performed would take care of our carpenter ant problem. I filled in their contact form Saturday morning. Within an hour Larry called and asked if he could stop by as he was in the area. Explained carpenter ants were found in our kitchen and we have had an unresolved mice problem. Previous owners of home had used Orkin for mice who had not solved the actual problem - where they were finding entry. Quickly found where the carpenter ants were finding their way in. Every spring we were experiencing an ant problem inside of our house. He explained to us the type of ants we were getting, why we were getting them and what he was going to do that would eliminate them. We have not seen an ant in our house since. Very knowledgeable about his craft.

Larry, Jr. promptly returned my call and we set up an appointment for the next day which was great as my son is highly allergic to bees. Larry went to my son's house first and was on time to my house, he explained what he was going to do and how the spray works, then got right to work. It took about 1/2 hour to spray my house.
