+ -1 moreI've been hesitant to write a negative review, yet I feel I must. The father-son team came to my house in March 2020; they were so kind, and their efforts to get rid of mice in my basement seemed to go very well. Yet, a big part of the $353 fee was a guarantee that the company would follow up for a year if the mice returned. Beginning in late 2020, I left three voice mails (about a month apart), asking the company to return since I was again having problems. I never got a call back. I am very sympathetic that the father of the team died. I'm sorry to have to write a negative review, but I've given up using this company and can't recommend it.

+ -1 morePerfect! And, Larry eliminated a dangerous problem that we were not aware of ..... a golf ball size hornets nest on the rear porch roof above the entry door. He knew the type of hornet .... one whose bites from a swarm of hornets can lead to death. We plan to have him return annually.

+ -1 moreA father and son team, Larry and Larry Jr, who own and operate the business are totally committed to satisfying the customer. They are knowledgeable, industrious and honest. Fair pricing, too.. I have used other pest control outfits. Those missed entry points that Larry Jr picked up immediately. Indeed, one of these larger outfits seems to be more interested in signing one up to a long term contract at exorbitant rates than stopping the mice from gaining access. Westside is the best by far. I bet mice hate them.

They have a 1 year guarantee for their work and will come back if you have problems within that year and not charge you a cent (for real!) I called back after 11 months and they found a new problem that didn't exist the last time they were out and I was shocked that they didn't charge me for the work.

He stuffed the holes and I am sure we no longer will have mice. Be prepared; this it is a BUSY season. We were not in a rush and did need to wait 2 weeks. Great job.

A few years back I had a house with an inundation of extra-large wasps that were worrying the residents. None of us had ever seen anything like them before. Larry identified them as Cicada Killer Wasps, and explained they were harmless and would soon move on away from this yard. Larry was right, of course, and he did this over the phone without even a service charge. Don’t waste your time or money on a corporate “exterminator” get a real solution from a real expert with Larry at West Side. He’s very reasonably priced and well-worth every dollar. I wish I could say the same for the rest of my service providers!
Description of Work: I rarely write reviews — not even once a year, but I’m taking the time to do it today because Larry is simply the best of the best. I’m a homeowner, house renovator, & landlord, and have utilized Larry’s services numerous times in 6 different homes over the past 7 years. As a second-generation owner-operator, Larry’s deep expertise and unparalleled professionalism are clearly evident from his thorough inspection of the problem through his analysis & the implementation of his solution. Larry doesn’t just set traps or spay poison — he gets to the root of the issue. Today, after an in-depth inspection of the exterior & interior of a mid-century house, he sealed more than two dozen holes (which we’d never noticed) using a variety of materials & techniques to keep the mice outside.
