Larry and his son were very professional nice and very easy going.. They were on time they explained the process in a professional manner.. I enjoyed working with this company.

Larry came out to help me identify where several mice were getting into my home and seal it up. He identified a few possible areas that he patched up. When I found that I was still getting some mice in the house months later, he came out again at no additional cost to look at the home again. He found the smoking gun and sealed it up, and I have had NO mice since, so I am very happy. In addition to doing a great job, he was very friendly and informative on all things mice!! Purchased a deal through Angie's list. The work was scheduled quickly and owner was on time. He was friendly and took care of the problem. The reason I gave a B's rather than A's is because after he was done (in the garage where the work was done), he walked across our deck and stepped into house leaving foot prints from the pesticide all over his shoes. It's not the end of the world but we have young kids and a dog and it's a detail that seems obvious in that line of work. That being said, the garage was in the deconstruction phase and he may have figured everything was a mess anyway and he didn't have to worry about it.

In my previous home I had paper wasps invade my soffits every spring. Larry came out and sprayed and it kept them away! In another house in St. Paul we had pharaoh ants which Larry identified and and treated in one application. In my new house there were signs of mice and Larry plugged up holes, set up traps and gave us advice. We've had no mice inside. We also had ants under the concrete slab side of the house in the winter and nothing I was doing to control them was working. Larry treated for the ants twice and within 3-4 weeks we only saw dead ants. We've had no ant sightings since! Larry is the nicest guy and so knowledgeable about all types of pests. He explains everything he is doing and is very thorough with his work. I hope to never have any pests but if I do I know who to call!

Overall A+. We purchased a deal on Angie's List and they called the same day to schedule the appointment and offered to come the next day but were willing to work around our schedule. They arrived early and stayed until the job was complete. I felt 100x better after their visit knowing that we were working toward an end resolution. I felt that they were sincere in offering a follow up visit if we found new droppings, etc after a set period of time to re-check the premises to ensure no entry points were missed. However, based on their inspection, I have good feeling that we're going to pest free soon!

Provider was prompt and friendly. the preset traps caught a few mice, and since then all seems to be going well.

They arrived a half hour early which was a nice surprise. When they arrived they first listened to the problem, and did an inspection of the outside of the house. After the outside inspection they went into detail as to what they saw, what type of mice we had, and how those mice behave. They then inspected the house and focused on the rooms where they found the entry point in the attached garage. I showed them were the mice were caught within the basement. They found other locations in the basement that had evidence of mice being there. Twelve traps were set, and they described in detail how mice move within the home. What's crazy is that we haven't had any mice since they came. Not one of the traps have gone off (I did catch two in the house the weekend prior to their visit), but no new mice. The weather has turned bitterly cold, and nothing has gotten in. So far so good!

I have had many pest controls companies out but continued to find 2 mice a week in my crawl space. West Side found a GIANT HOLE that everyone else had missed and blocked it. Haven't had a mouse since then. It was big enough for a small "grizzly bear" to crawl through as he told me. Enjoyed his efficiency and promptness. He said to make sure I call him if I find another mouse. I would use him in the future.

Other reviews stated how friendly Larry was---but he still exceeded expectations. He found entrances into the house we overlooked and was matter-of-fact and super friendly.

We had Larry out initially in the summer to take care of a carpenter ant problem. He educated us as we walked around the property and he sprayed for all possible ant nests and showed us how to detect them. Within a few days they were dead and gone. We learned that only a couple poisons work effectively on these types of ants and proper ways to control them. We haven't seen any since and it's been 7 months. $149 well worth it and guaranteed. We called him back again for the cold months coming and we had seen evidence of mice in our basement and our garage. We took advantage of another Angie's List offer for mouse control. We knew we wanted Larry back. He did a walk around the outside and patched hole entrances and told us what to look for. He came inside and set traps to catch any mice that remained inside. That evening we caught 4, reset the traps and caught another and now haven't seen any since. We feel good that we will not be the residence of mice this winter. Again, he guaranteed his work so we will see what happens this spring, but we feel confident that the issue is resolved.

I could tell that Larry knew what he was doing. He has a special type of mirror he uses to find holes where mice are getting into your home. He filled up 5 holes with special type of steel wool that, unlike regular steel wool, does not rust. Then he put up 4 traps inside my home. It didn't take him very long to do this. Then he has guaranteed the job he did for a whole year. What a relief!! Last year I hired another pest control company to do what he did. I think they were only able to find one hole. Then they set up traps outside to catch mice before mice entered the house. This first company, Wild Life Management, charged me $500 to fix mouse and spider problem. The spider problem went away but mice problem did not because they only found 1 hole instead of the 6 holes. Then they wanted to charge me an extra $150 to return just to set up more traps. I said no. My impression is that Wild Life Management specializes more in squirrels, racoons, etc than mice. So my experience with this company, WEST SIDE PEST SOLUTIONS, was definitely preferable, also more reasonable, than the prior company.

Larry is amazing to work with and is extremely effective! He is punctual, professional, and explains everything he is doing to help educate you on the issues/resolutions. He asked pertinent questions and then walked the entire perimeter of our house to plug any potential areas where the mice were getting in. He also provided outdoor bait traps to help with the situation and gave us a guarantee for his work. I am not usually one to write reviews (good or bad) on people/products, but I felt it necessary to help others in finding a solution for mice extermination. Use this company and you will not be disappointed!

Super fast response and turn around. Came out quickly to do the job, removed 5-8 good sized wasp and hornet nests around the house and yard shed. No sign of the wasps any more and I couldnt even go in the yard shed without having 5+ wasps flying around and at me! Would use and recommend again and again.
