Brevik and his team came and helped us out of a real pickle: Suffice it to say we ended up with finished drywall over some very confusingly installed and unlabeled wire for our new lights, detectors, etc. They absolutely went far above and beyond what anyone could ever reasonably expect. They were helpful, patient, respectful of our house/carpet/etc., and incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Huge thanks to Norske Electric, and we'll be back for any future electrical work!

We can’t say enough about how pleased we were with their service and their bid was far more reasonable than the one we had received from our contractors’ electrician. We needed the work to be done on short notice because our walls and ceilings were going to be repaired and painted soon. We hoped to get the electrical done first, but were skeptical we could find someone that quickly. Other electricians we contacted said they could not do the work in that timeframe but Brevik said he would make every effort to accommodate our schedule and he did. Tim and Bill were very professional, friendly and efficient. They were a delight to have in our home. When the job was complete, everything was cleaned up beautifully. On a scale of 1 to 10, we could give them an 11. We will only use Norske Electric in the future and have already contacted them for additional electrical work.

I highly recommend Brevik and his team at Norske. They provided a competitive, accurate estimate for the work to be completed and everything turned out really well. Their bid was considerably less (for the same work) than an estimate I received from another company. The work was done well, on time, and within budget. Most importantly, Brevik and his team are guys you can trust.

First of all, I have to say that I misread the "deal." I totally missed that the "deal" was when there was a ceiling fan already there or a ceiling light fixture. That being said, the electrician arrived on time, did what seems to be a perfect job, including cleaning up. He talked to me about the problem, and that the 2nd installation would have to be on another day, at regular price. It was now that I found my error. Norske handled the situation very professionally, and I have scheduled the 2nd installation with them.

Our experience was flawless. There was an initial hiccup that was our fault when the first tech arrived to find no one at home. When a second tech was dispatched that same late afternoon, he worked well into the evening to get the job done right. The installation was perfect and we couldn't be more pleased with the excellent service we received!

We had Brevik come out to give us an estimate for the installation of a bathroom fan, and for a larger re-wiring project. We opted to hold off on the larger project, but had them install the bathroom fan right away. In this room, there was no previous unit so we needed them to create a space, install the fan unit, run wires to the current light switch, and create a vent to the roof. They secured the HVAC installation team themselves for the roof vent, and coordinated everything so all we had to do was be home to open the door. Their work was flawless, they were clean and quick, and they were even able to deal with our tricky install (previous owner put way too much insulation in the roof). Overall it was a great experience and we will be using Norske Electric as our "go-to" electricians for all future needs in our personal and rental properties.

Was not able to schedule them to come out to do the work. Although their Angie's List site said their service area covered Hennepin County where I live, I received a message from them saying they don't service my location. Didn't quite understand this, but I assume they also have a mileage radius they are trying to work with. They should state that and not just list Hennepin County as their service area. I will say though that they were responsive and professional, though in their message exchanges with me. Trying to work with Angie's list now to get a refund. Wait time for their call centers is longer than anticipated and their hold music is extremely loud and annoyingly spliced together incongruently. Not happy about that.

Provider showed up on time and installed ceiling fan in master bedroom. Did a very good job. Would hire again without hesitation.

I bought the "big deal" in December. They couldn't come til January, which was fine. We set a day and time frame and they were here promptly within that time. Took the two guys about half an hour. Very nice and professional. Love the new fan!

Unlike an outfit that came out and gave a high estimate with all sorts of add-ons I could have easily believed I needed if I didn't get a second opinion, Brevik provided a very fair estimate and stuck to his figures and provided the Angie's List 5% discount. Brevik isn't anti-DIY. He supported whatever work I wanted to do to decrease his crew's workload and reduce my price. He even talked me out of one project, saying I could handle it myself. They stuck to the schedule Brevik provided and proved very reliable. The guys he sent out worked efficiently and courteously, and they truly cared about getting the job done right. You might need to wait an extra week or two to get Norske scheduled, but just take that as a good sign and be patient.
