From the very beginning it was a great experience. Fast response; walked me through details I didn't understand for a very custom and special and sensitive piece of computer equipment. I didn't even know what kind of cable to get because it had to be non-US standard voltage and amp requirements and then the male and female ends were special. They walked me through all of it, with patience and no sign of annoyance which is what you would typically run into with a larger shop. Schedule notification was thorough. They arrived on time, got the work done, answered any questions I had about other things and were not annoyed (I ask a lot of questions because I'm always curious about other professions, and I'm a geek). We plugged in the power supply and heard the sweet sound of success (the cooling fans). Got an invoice - price was in the agreed upon range and was well worth the experience. Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Two electricians came. One worked on disposal while other started on fan. work was done quickly, in about an hour, with minimal interruption. In addition to the installation of fan and grounding wire, I had requested to get an estimate for installing a new light. The electrician looked at the service and stated it would be complicated / expensive due to how the house was wired originally. He would not provide an estimate because only the owner could provide estimates.

Exactly as I was told. Arrived promptly at 8:00am. Got the job done in 40 min and was very professional.

Two workers came out and installed all 4 fans in about 90 minutes. They were on time, friendly, and very professional. I am planning to use them for any electrical work we ever need in the future.

I believe that I spoke with the owner, last week. He said that he would get back to me the next day, but I didn't hear back. Won't hold that against him, received a call this afternoon that they would be over in 20 minutes (fortunately I was home). Tim and his apprentice Max were awesome! I'm giving them an A rating on price although I haven't received the bill yet (they were one of the few to give their hourly price up front, which I appreciate).

Overall dealing with Norske Electric, Inc. was an excellent experience. Prior to deciding to use this firm, they provided advice on the type of ceiling fixture and light bulbs I would need to purchase prior to scheduling. This was very helpful. Once I had purchased these items I called to schedule. Scheduling was easy to set up and they provided an accurate estimate. The two workers arrived on time, went right to work, answered all of my questions and were very professional. They were a joy to have in my home.

I had my inspection coming up and wanted everything in tip top shape for the new homeowners. I also had to do one item for the city inspector so having Brevik check everything worked out really well. He found a few things that I would have had to call someone back in for, saving me a stop in the transaction and money overall. I will use Norske Electric again in the new home I have purchased and would recommend them without hesitation.

I've never been so pleased with my overall contractor experience. Norske Electric (Brevik Tharaldson) was by far the best contractor I've ever worked with. He performed a distribution panel upgrade today and I've already referred him to a number of my friend's and colleague's. As an electrical engineer, I've worked with many electricians over the years. Brevik was in a league of his own. He was quick and extremely professional. The project was done ahead of schedule, looks fantastic (very clean), and the real kicker is that the bill was a couple hundred under the already very fair quoted price.

Everything went very smoothly. Brevik (the owner) came and completed the estimate in a timely manner and set up an appointment for the work to be done about 2 weeks out. The technicians who did the work were courteous, professional, and explained the challenges that arose and ways we could resolve them quickly and inexpensively. They were also careful when cutting into the drywall to do the wiring and left the cutouts for me so that we could easily patch them back in later. Very pleased with the work and will be hiring them in the future for any electrical needs.

I called Norske because they had a ceiling fan installation big deal and I was in the middle of installing a ceiling fan in my bedroom. I had the fan installed but had some difficulties with the wiring (the lights would turn on, but the fan wouldn't). I called Norske to see whether their big deal would work in my situation since I already had the ceiling fan installed. The individual I spoke with (I don't recall the name) offered to help troubleshoot the problem and suggested that I try a couple of things to see if it would get the ceiling fan to work before scheduling an appointment. I tried his suggestions and it worked! My ceiling fan now works and looks greats! I would definitely use Norske in the future for any electrical work. The fact that they would take the time and troubleshoot my issue without trying to force me to schedule an appointment shows me that they are honest and treat their customers honestly and fairly.

It took Tim to identify and correct the problems. He was very competent and efficient.

First. he removed the light fixture from the ceiling in a bathroom. Next, he drilled a hole in the wall above the mirror and moved the wiring to that spot. He then hung the new light fixture. Finally, he put a cap on the hole in the ceiling. Done! The entire job took just about an hour. Perfect!

Brevik was concerned about getting to it quickly since it was a heating issue. I was fully expecting to spend hours troubleshooting our electrical systems to find where the voltage was being fed back from. Within 5 minutes, Brevik found a neutral line in the breaker box that was loose, he tightened that down and it resolved some of the issues. He then cleaned up the furnace wiring and resolved the remaining issues. Total time to resolution was about 15 minutes! Wow! Brevik is very personable and good at what he does. I highly recommend him. Thanks!

The service was excellent. I was very happy with the service. They were prompt and did a great job. They left everything clean. They came out within a week or two after I purchased the Big Deal. I gave them a couple of dates and they took the first one and they had it done before the holidays. There were no additional charges to the $100 Big Deal. The ceiling fan looks great and I never had problems with it working.
