I believe the work was done well and was a quality job. The original work (done by a different plumber) was not very good and I hired Hometown Plumbing to correct some issues with my tub drainage which had sprouted several leaks. I feel that the price was really high for the work performed compared to another job I had done recently (not the tub). Some of that was my own fault for not asking more questions up front, but I do not feel the final price was fair considering the actual hours and parts it took to do the job.

I really needed more of a handyman. There was a washer that needed to be removed from a pipe under the sink, and he told me that he was unable to work on the brand of faucet that I had, and that I would have to buy a whole new faucet from him in order for him to be able to get it working again.

I misunderstood the details of the Big Deal. I spoke with someone at HomeTown Plumbing, Inc. in which they explained to me the details of the Big Deal.

Very professional diagnosis of our leak, and in an old house, came up with a lower cost solution.

It was pretty straightforward. They were on time and very courteous. The price was reasonable. Now I know what to do in the future.

It was a complete rip off. You had an article in your most recent mailing about how to flush a water heater. All he did was put a hose to the bottom and let out a small amount of water. He didn't do anything like your article recommended. It certainly wasn't worth of $49.00 deal offer. I was expecting a complete water heater flush just like in the article. I will never sign up for one of your deals again. They are obviously rip-offs! I will also tell people not to sign up for Angie List details anymore.

Plumber was unable to find the connections inside the house necessary to do the drain down. He spent almost an hour looking inside closets, above the ceilings, and finally determined he'd have to cut openings in our walls to locate the appropriate connections. We were unwilling to go that far. He disconnected the outside hoses for us. This plumber was professional, and gave suggestions that we asked about to upgrade other areas of the house.

he was punctual, efficient, honest and he checked over all different kinds of details and let me know that everything was good. He also mentioned that my furnace was making noise that I might want to get checked out by someone this is not an area of his expertise. All in all a great experience.

We weren't sure what was causing water staining on ceramic tile. They lifted the toilet and determined the cause of the water leak, replaced the seal..leveled the toilet so it doesn't happen again. The repairman was very professional, extremely clean with respect to the surrounding floor,etc. Would definitely hire homeTown Plumbing again.

He determined that the faucet was old and should be replaced now or in the Spring. He gave an estimate of the cost. I thought the cost was rather high, but I decided that I did not want to worry about a leaking faucet all winter, so I told him to replace it. He had an issue with the new part he had with him, so he had to return to Ham Lake to get a different one. When he returned, he quickly installed it and clearly explained how to turn off the water in the winter and turn it on again in the Spring. He also made a minor adjustment to the water line on the refrigerator to correct a small leak. Mike was very professional. I am happy with the work that he did.

After ordering the service, I scheduled the service call for a day I was taking off work specifically for service calls. The plumber was scheduled to come between 11-1 on Nov 7. At 10:40, the plumber called to say he ran into "issues" and had to cancel. Their office called later to reschedule, but I had already contacted someone else. I find it hard to believe he could not have made the service cLl, even if it was later in the day.

Home Town Plumbing was a wonderful company to work with. They responded quickly and were very professional. They accommodated my very tight schedule as to when I could have them come out and replace the faucet. He did an excellent job of replacing the faucet. It is a great faucet a quarter turn and it is on and quarter turn and it is off. He cleaned up after he was done. I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.

He came on time, fixed the problem and cleaned-up after himself. He also showed me why I had such low water pressure and gave me options on how to repair it.

The finished work is great - very professional looking, and the volume of water my sprinklers can receive is what it should be! The work was accomplished quickjly and efficiently, and I was very happy with the results and the price.

I called Mike because we had a toilet upstairs that had started to leak and was causing water damage to the ceiling downstairs. We wanted the toilet replaced, so he helped me pick one out over the phone by directing me to a website to look at his recommended models.

Stated at first he would need to pull the softener out to do the work. Very small area to work around in. Did not have to do it as it went well for him. Saved me some labor time by not having to do that. Did a excellent job and would recommend him to everyone. :)

Work was outstanding, new heater delivered on time, removal of old heater and installation of new one was completed in less than two hours. Quality of the installation and cleanup was first rate, and completed at the quoted price. Would definitely recommend Hometown Plumbing Inc to anyone.

I thought that $414 was a little steep but according to my roommates who use that bathroom everything works perfectly now. :)

Very well! I felt like I made an informed decision on the repair and the results were great! I'd definitely use them again.

The repr was very thorough and timely and put of booties when entering the house.

I was perusing Angie's List for a plumber when I found a leak from a water pipe in my basement. I found Home Town Plumbing and read the reviews. I also noticed they had the super service reviews, so I decided to call him. Mike came out a day later and looked at the leak. He immediately knew where it came from. He explained that it was coming from the upstairs kitchen sink. He then found the source of the problem and fixed it in 20 minutes. I asked him if the downstairs pipes needed to be fixed too. He said no the pipe down stairs was fine, and didn't need to be repaired. He was honest and did not try to fix things that didn't need fixing, nor was he trying to get more money from me. He was very honest. As a struggling family of 5, I can really appreciate that kind of honesty. Mike was also very thorough and swift. he had it all repaired and up and running in about 30 minutes. So if he charges by the hour, you won't pay for him being slow. All in all, I hope I won't have to call him again anytime soon, but if anything else goes wrong, I will be calling him again.

It went very well. The individuals were personable and polite. The work done was done well and the clean up was good. The price was competitive. Only one negative in my opinion was that I wanted them to check an outside sprinkler faucet and they said that it probably was outside their expertise.

I had the big deal service performed. The service was great, I had a great experience with the company.

HomeTown Plumbing Inc gave me the solution to the issue, it was quick and easy, and I thought I was going to have to replace it but I didn't. I would definitely use them again if I do have to replace the water softener.
