Cost me 99 bucks just to have them look at a bathroom sink drain and then told me the price, outrageous! They won't even give an estimate over the phone. Had to reschedule 3 times just to have him look at it and then tell me the price. Keep looking around. I called several others, and they were happy to give me an estimate over the phone. 250 to 225 not 358 I was quoted.

I requested a quote/service call for a water softener repair. Mike called prior to the time he was scheduled to take a look. We discussed the issue and attempts I have made to fix. He offered an opinion that it probably is due to be replaced. I am replacing on my own but appreciated the call and discussion. Saved me the cost of the service call and Mike the time to drive over.

The work was done well, but he arrived at 12:15 and left at 3:30 and billed me for 5 hours of work. He gave me a price before the work was done, but indicated he would be there much longer than he was. I agreed to it because there is a pandemic and as a senior citizen, I’m avoiding contact with people not in my household. I chose not to get more estimates and have other people in my home. I essentially paid $350 an hour to have a toilet flange replaced.

Mike arrived when he said he would and had a replacment disposal with him. He replaced that quickly, leaving very little mess. I also had an unrelated water leak, which he confirmed was coming from my dishwasher. Mike gave me an estimate for installing a new dishwasher but also suggested that an appliance dealer might include that at no charge. He also estimated the cost of installing an outside faucet.

Mike arrived within the time-frame that he told us and got right to work on the toilets. He installed one toilet and let my wife check out the height before installing the other one. Both toilets are working fine and seem to be high-quality and water efficient. In the attached photo, the toilet looks beige, but the color is actually a traditional white porcelain. This is the fourth job that Mike has done for us, and we appreciate having him as our go-to plumber. He does all his own work, and we appreciate his experience and fairness.

Mike was awesome. Great guy, extremely personable. Total professional, took no shortcuts, efficient as you could hope for. Would hire him again in an instant, and go for a beer with him afterwards!

Mike was helpful and willing to talk about how his experience related to our situation. His bid wasn't the lowest and wasn't the highest either. I chose him because I liked what I read about the products he proposed to install. Some bidders didn't even tell us what products they intended to install. The work was done efficiently, cleanly and on time.

They were very prompt, called ahead to confirm appointment and knowledgeable. They had to bleed the water lines and reset the pressure. They did end up having to come back and fix the pressure after the original fix, however, I had a leak at the main valve that could not be detected at first. Mike took his time to figure out why the pressure did not stay in the system, fixed it and made sure it was working correctly again before completing the job. They called after the appointment to make sure that the system was working before we had our first artic freeze. I never went without heat and I will definitely use them again. Cost was average, service was excellent and I would recommend them to friends and family.

Great. He pinpointed the issue and resolved it. gave me suggestions for additional improvements in my basement (water softener maintenance) , kitchen sink, and bath that can improve water quality.

They were good. I had no complaints. They came out and were very personable. Everybody that come in would take their shoes off.

The work went well. I will use them again.

The plumber has a book of how much each repair will cost and he flips through to find the one that matches your situation. He was professional and courteous but I found the prices listed in the book to be rather high. I'm sure it's a normal price. Satisfied with the work done but I'm not impressed with the price.

I wish I had called them at the beginning to do the work. My sump pump had failed and my lower level was under about 7 inches of water. They ended up completing a "fix" started by a different provider.

Mike came at the time promised. He was friendly and did the work needed to repair the faucet. He had the parts needed and did the work in a reasonable amount of time.

Absolutely perfect, could not be better. Mike is a really great guy who is extremely professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of Plumbing. He did a wonderful job with all three items, his prices are reasonable and the quality of his work is A Plus.

I have worked with HomeTown on two separate projects at my home. Mike is fair and honest across the board, and easy to work with. If you want a quick fix that only makes a problem go away temporarily, Mike isn't your guy. If you want someone you can trust for good advice on your plumbing issues, who will charge you a fair price for high quality work, call Mike.

It was so-so. The price was a little bit too high. It was surging from a gas stove to an electric stove so I wanted a cap put on the gas valve. They're too expensive. I'd probably go with someone else. Part of it, the Angie's List made the impression that it was $145 off. When he got there, he said that you only get $50 off. I didn't save anything by buying the coupon.

It went fine. We ended up having not going on any further than having him come out. He gave us an estimate and let us know what the problem might be. We just haven't gone any further with it. He was very nice. He came over shortly after I purchased it. We decided that we would wait before we were going to do anything. I would possibly use him in the future.

They were fast, friendly, clean, competent and patient with my mom's hearing difficulties in making decisions. I would hire them again.

he came while my boyfriend was home, diagnosed the issue, and gave a really high quote on the work. It almost seemed like he just didn't want the work. Told him I could get a deal on Angies for the work I needed that was less than his quote, and he just said "go ahead". I guess when I purchased the $44 deal, I expected a diagnosis, and repair with a reasonable price... basically I paid $44 to have him come out and tell me what I already knew.... I have a leak I need repaired! Thanks Anyway Hometown Plumbing.

Mike arrived earlier than expected and was prepared to install a Moen faucet that he recommended, which was the main reason for his visit. Even though he had not planned to repair our toilet, he took the time to do that on the same visit. Mike was very professional and candid about what he was doing. This is the second time Mike has provided plumbing services to us,and we are very happy with his work. The breakdown of the costs this time were $390.19 for the faucet and installationand $199 for the toilet less a $25 coupon we had received in the mail a while ago. Although the cost of the faucet was a surprise, I looked back at an estimate another provider had given us a couple of years ago, and Mike's price was less than that two-year old price. Mike does all of his own work and, from what I can tell, knows his profession well. We will not hesitate to contact him the next time we need some plumbing work.
