The experience was good. If I needed to use someone like that again I would go back to them. They were very attentive. They were honest with what you need and what you don't need and their pricing is right what they said it would be.

There was nothing special about it. They just did a good job. The reason I called them was because they are here in Ham Lake; it is right nearby so I thought they could be here quick, and they were here within an hour. With regard to price, I don’t have anything to compare it against, so I am satisfied with it. I have used them again.

At 4am my dog woke me up because he was trying to snuggle right in my arms, which is unusal as he weighs 30 pounds.... so I got up and my house was FREEZING cold. I looked at my thermostat and the temp read 62 degrees at it was set at 69. I rarely touch my thermostat, and it is less than a year old, so I knew something was serioiusly wrong. I went downstairs and my gas furnace pipes were cold. I turned the power to the unit off, and waited a few minutes to reset the system. I turned it back on and the coils warmed, the flames started, but then they went out after about 10 seconds. I got on Angie's list, and found this group that appeared to have 24 hour service. I called the number and a very pleasant woman answered. She told me I would get a call back in 20 minutes, which I did. The man who was on call told me someone would be to my house between 8-9 am, which happened as I was told. Matt B was professional and gave me some needed teaching about the best ways to keep my furnace running well. I was very pleased with how fast the team responded to take care of my issue! Moreover, they accepted my Angie's List coupon for $40.00 off which was very nice, since it was an emergency service! Thus, I paid $129.00 for the emergency call, $95.00 to clean the flame sensor and $75.00 to clean the burners. With my coupon I paid $294.00 in total. Matt also told me about their service contracts which seem very reasonable for the team to service my furnice and A/C annually, and I will be getting one of those agreements in the future! This was an excellent experience overall!

I like that their work was meticulous. They were quick and timely to install the unit and when we went down to look at their work, everything was just fine and we knew that they were perfectionist in the work that they did because everything was just going and a specific order of tubes and things were were good. There were no doubt that they are professional.

Matt returned my call from the answering service within 15 minutes and arrived to our home within 30 minutes. He was professional and knowledgable. He figured out what was wrong with furnace quickly, presented the information to us along with pricing, then made the repairs and was on his way within an hour. A great experience overall and we were so satisfied with their service we signed up for their service agreement!

Installed new furnace and air conditioner. Installation went smoothly - good clean up after work - explained operation and warranty. Have used this company before and have been pleased with response and work.

Installed new hardwood floors this past summer. We wanted to maintain the humidity in our home without a lot of condensate on the windows. They recommended an Aprilair unit. The installer, Jeremy was great. He discussed placement of the unit and water lines. We really like the result. Our house stays as moist as possible given the outside temp. Our floors are happy too!

An urgent service call was made to diagnose and repair bad furnace performance in the middle of winter. The technician performed a diagnostic and made recommendations for repair. He was able to perform the repair on site in the same appt. A full tune up was performed which corrected the issue. The technician also made a recomendation to replace an internal motor which was offering borderline performance per the recommended specs. He gave options that it wasn't absolutely required at this time, but would eventually need to be replaced. I appreciated the fact that he didn't try to "hard sell" the unit at this time as iit indeed wasn't that detrimental to the performance of the unit. The service call took about 1.5 hours as projected when he first arrived. He was kind, curtious and efficient. As my unit is relatively old, I signed up for a full year service plan which offered a follow up AC tune up in the spring. No pressure was put on me to sign up, only offered as an option. I would absolutely recommend them to any neighbor or friend.

He arrived on time and was able to diagnose all the issues I described almost right away. My drain line was plugged letting water leaking all over my utility room. He unplugged the line and checked out all other places where water could have leaked from. He replaced all the filters with ones that I bought. The unit was low on power so he recharged the unit. Then he was able to check all of the main ducts in the house and made sure the air coming out of them was at the right temperature. The power source of the outside unit had a few loose wires so he replaced the entire electrical power source at a low price. He did list all of the work he was going to perform with the approximate price. He also gave me recommendations about issues that might occur by the end of the season with the estimated price. He also talked about issues I might need to resolve in the next few years and gave me an estimated price for work to fix problems that might occur. He walked me through all the work he performed and after he cleaned everything up I wrote him a check for his services. His assistant was new so he explained to him what he was doing. It might have slowed him down a bit.

I was very impressed with their professional attitude, their concern for my safety above all else, their willingness to spend the hours needed to verify the furnace was safe, their willingness to keep their word, and their great service. I strongly recommend people to use them, and I will definitely buy my next water heater and furnace from them.

Everything about the work to be done was explained, along with the pricing. I was also offered a service plan which provided overall cost savings for me. In addition to repairing the water heater, the person who came out also took the time to make a badly needed replace to water lines for my washing machine. He also replaced a broken valve and put labels on all the valves in my furnace room - something that will be extremely helpful to me in the future. He also took the time, at my request, to check out an issue with the plumbing for my kitchen sink. I was extremely pleased with the work done and will use this company again in the future.

The guys from Air Mechanical did a complete plumbing inspection on my home, and ended up replacing my water heater and water softener. I have been a regular customer of Air Mechanical for Heating and A/C service for several years, and this was the year to include plumbing as well. I am very happy with their performance and service. They explained the potential problems, answered all of my questions, and did not pressure me into a sale. I will continue to be a customer.

The whole dealing with the company was very satisfactory, from the moment that we requested quotes to the moment they provided information about the operation of the furnace.

Central Air had died, the furnace fan had broke on a 20 year old furnace. Turned out the heat exchanger had a huge crack, which explained the CO2 connectors had gone off a few times. Checked around with 5 different places. Air Mechanical was the only place that could deliver the next day and get things working again. They did concur with the company that diagnosed the problem. Not only that, but they had the second lowest price. The installer was fast, kept me informed and easy to work with. The price estimate was accurate. The electric and gas bills went down with the new equipment. The left the furnace area clean. No problems aftyer 6 years with the equipment.

Air Mechanical called the day of the scheduled service and asked if they could come out earlier than planned. The technician Bob went right to work, spending about an hour on the work. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took time to answer some questions we had about the air filter and the humidifier and did not seem to be in a hurry to rush out of here. We were pleased with his efficiency and his manner and appreciated that he did not charge us labor for installing the humidifier pad. We have been Air Mechanical customers for many years and have always been very happy with their work and the many different techs who have serviced our equipment.

Angies list had one of their Amazing deals, an in-home furnace tune up, early season special for $89.00. Before I called this other company, I called Air Mechanical, who installed our Evolution Heating and Air Conditioning system in 2011. We had such a good experience with the service person who came out early in 2012, we thought we'd call and see if Air Mechanical would match the price. They did, and their service technician was thorough and excellent. I wish their service fees were less for this routine maintenance all the time, but I'm really glad they came out. I have confidence in them, and was glad to get the discount this year.

The person who came - who didn't call first as they said he would - was a plumber and did not know about hot water heating systems. We had to reschedule for another technician on another day. When the new technician came out, he hunted and pecked and guessed which is just what we'd been doing ourselves for months. $250 later, we knew nothing new and still don't. Except that we don't have heat and it's mid-October.

The technician arrived at our home on time. I wasn't home, but he called me to inform me that a relay switch was broken and needed to be replaced for $178. He also told me that while he was trying to diagnose the problem, the 110V supply went dead, and he had to also diagnose the source of this issue. He found this to be due to some loose wires within the main furnace switch box, which he said were likely loosened while he was working on the original issue. He needed to tighten these two wires for $73. He then informed me of the $99 diagnostic fee, and asked me to authorize the work. At this point, although it was working when he walked in, my boiler was no longer operational and I had no choice but to authorize the repairs, or I would be without hot water. The total cost to replace a $25 relay was over $350! Luckily, I was able to use a $40 coupon that AIR had available on their website, but nonetheless this seemed excessive, especially since one of the issues wasn't present when they started the work or in the over 20 years that I've owned the home. I did call AIR back the next day to discuss my concerns and give them the opportunity to make it right. They stood by the invoice, saying that not only did this cover the cost for the relay, it came with a 1-year warranty! We had used AIR in the past, and they were always quite reasonable and responive. After this experience, I don't think we'd use them again and would not recommend them to others.
