Description of Work: They showed up on time and evaluated my problem for me. But $74 seems like a lot of money for someone to just come in and tell me the sink is plugged and needs a $1000 repair. I did the work myself for less than $200 and that included buying a new vanity.

Description of Work: I had a bird-in-the-furnace problem and a clogged plumbing problem. Both were solved by Air Mechanical in a timely and professional manner. Because of these experiences, I have signed maintenance contracts with them to keep my furnace/air and plumbing in tip-top shape.

We have been a customer of Air Mechanicals for a few years now and have been very happy with the service we receive. They've always been professional and stand by their work. I would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service.

Description of Work: They repaired a wire that was broken on the AC unit and added some freon. For the unit being 26 years old, I was expecting to have to purchase a new one when it didn't turn on originally. We were pleased it was a simple fix.

Description of Work: Had a circuit board melt in my furnace. I contracted with them to fix the furnace & add a whole house humidifier. Furnace: 4 different techs over 4 different days each worst than the last. They pulled my heat exchanger told me it had a crack - didn't show me and I had to purchase a new one. One tech pulled all the sound proofing insulation from the furnace - don't know what was done with it. Whole house humidifier: They did not set it up correctly and the folks who came in after Air Mechanical showed me why it wasn't working. I tried to complain to the Air Mechanical management and was told that my furnace was old and these things happen to old furnaces - no apologies, no monetary compensation, nothing. Air Mechanical calls on a regular basis to solicit more business - I hang as soon as I know they're calling. Each time a technician came out I had to pay not only for "service" but an expensive trip charge as well. I feel that I was treated poorly, I feel I was lied to and duped and I feel I was held hostage for work that wasn't needed - who can manage in November in MN without heat?

Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for a $74.00 heating diagnostic check. They checked out the system and determined it needed to be replaced as it had a cracked heat exchange. They turned the system off and I did the replacement myself.

Description of Work: After a meeting to look at my air conditioner, I never got an estimate and no return calls when I tried to find out where the estimate was. The estimate could gave been left with my family member who was at the home since I was out of state. Needless to say you can't give someone business when there is no communication.

Very flexible schedule that enabled me to setup a service time at the most convenient time for me. The technician called before arriving and was punctual. Answered all my questions patiently. Description of Work: Air conditioner suddenly quit in the evening; first called the installer of the unit who told me they could not come until 7/3. I then checked Angie's List and chose Air Mechanical. I called them and quickly received a call back from one of their repair staff. He was upfront about the service charge of $180 on weekends, and told me some things to check before making an appointment. I would have waited until the week except for the high temp and humidity and the fact this is a holiday week so make an appointment for 9 am on Sunday. The repairman arrived promptly; quickly determined the problem ( a bug was smashed against the contact point in the unit ) and fixed it. By 10 am I had air conditioning again. The repairman was very professional and I will use Air Mechanical again if I have a furnace or air problem.

Description of Work: I am having Brad over to quote me on a ductless unit w/cooling and heat pump for a large second story room 28 x 30 w/vaulted ceiling. I have alternate heating, no worries there. Hope to see him at 5:30PM this Friday. Anyone have another company to give a try? Thanks then.
