Description of Work: Installed a sliding bath/shower door. It was a high-end door which required professional installation.

Description of Work: Platinum Remodeling installed two new bathroom sink counters from granite (bought fragments) and sinks, new shower door, and shelves in the shower. It went really well; they performed all services in one day, were punctual, and cleaned up after themselves. They were very easy to work with; I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: I called and emailed multiple companies with few returned calls or emails. Platinum remodeling responded right away and confirmed they were busy but provided another companies contact information. That company did not returned my calls so I scheduled with Platinum remodeling even though they were booked out 1 month. Although we ended up canceling, they were very professional and responded in a very timely manner. I would contact them and use them for future services.

Description of Work: We really enjoyed working with Platinum for a kitchen remodel. We had several other people come over from other companies and Platinum was the only company that sat down with us and talked us through the process of a remodel. They gave us more than just a quick glance at our space on the first meeting. They provided clear communication throughout. I also felt very safe allowing them entrance into our home while we were at work. Everyone who came to work on different parts of the project were nice and they all did a nice job interacting with our dog (she is 1) when she was out since she is very friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. The quality of work matched the price we payed. We also used their handyman services which are also HIGHLY recommended....we found out we needed some exterior work done on our house and they were able to complete the work timely as well.

Description of Work: Removed wall and professionally patched hardwood floors, ceiling and walls. Refinished h/w floors throughout property, painted,ceilings and walls. Installed updated lighting throughout remodeled area.

Description of Work: Opened up common wall between garage & bump-out fireplace to find mice access. Too early to tell if they were successful in preventing mice from getting into the house, but I have high hopes after watching them put things back together.

Description of Work: We needed to remodel our half bath on the main floor to include a walk in shower. Josh and his crew were wonderful to work with. We also had a few other carpentry and custom cabinet projects they managed. We were very pleased with all the work.

Description of Work: Chad was right on time for my scheduled estimate. He was super friendly and spent over an hour and a half one evening going through an estimate to add a half bath (including giving us great ideas for such a small space where we want it), finish part of the basement, insulate the attic and window repairs/upgrades. We haven't had the work done yet, but if Chad's time giving us an accurate estimate is any indication of the service quality, then I have no worries!

Description of Work: I made an appointment with Platinum Remodeling for a bid, they did not show up or call. I awarded the job to someone else and two weeks later they showed up and we informed them they must have mischeduled the bid. After posting this report on Angie's list they somehow found my work phone number and even went so far as to contact one of my coworkers to make this right. While I appreciate their sensitivity to their customer's experience (or maybe their Angie's List score?) I think this was a bit invasive. They insisted it couldn't at all be their company, but later my husband went back and checked his voicemail and found out that it certainly was Chad from Platinum Remodeling who called and stopped by two weeks after the original scheduled date. Overall, not a huge deal but interesting.

Description of Work: Chad from Platinum remodeling came out and looked at the drywall repair and replacement/painting/wallpaper job that I needed to have done. He was very pleasant and spent a reasonable amount of time looking over the job and evaluating it. Of course, that means that I spent a reasonable amount of time with him going over the work that needed to be done. He assured me that this job was exactly the sort of work they do. A month later, and I still do not have an estimate. My last phone call he remarked, "Yeah, I know. I haven't gotten that done yet. I guess that is the downside of being busy". Really? You couldn't spend an hour in the last month putting together an estimate? Why did you even come out and spend the time to look at it? You didn't have, literally, 3 minutes in the last month to give me a phone call? Trying to avoid this irresponsible, non-professional nonsense is the EXACT reason I JOINED Angie' List in the first place! What a waste of MY time!! AARRRGGHHH!!

Description of Work: Josh came out to estimate a small job in my living room. He was, as always, prompt, professional and came up with excellent suggestions. We're postponing the work until Spring but I will call him when we're ready.

Description of Work: They gutted my master bathroom and remodeled it. They also tore out wood floors installed tile in the entry to my house. Everything was new.

Description of Work: They repaired Sheetrock, kitchen lighting, moved electrical switches, and did a wall patch.

Description of Work: I called the business to come out to my home to give a bid on installing kitchen cabinets. The representative showed up on time as scheduled and looked at my kitchen project, took some measurements and told me he would get back to me within 3 days. He then left and I NEVER heard back from him. If he was a decent business person, he would have at least called or written that he was passing on the bid. No. He just NEVER called or wrote back to me. Not the A rating company I thought them to be. Very poorly done Platinum, very poorly done. Pull up your pants and be a man if you don't want to do a project, but your silence is deafening at this end.
