Zach came out today to complete one of the projects. My patio doors are cold and needed some sealing up. He patched things up and will be working on how to do a more permenant fix on the issue. He was courteous and fun to talk to and seemed very knowledgeable. I really don't have a clue on fix it stuff and really have felt like with both guys are suggesting ways to fix things that are reasonable and not over the top.

The first thing that was impressive was that the quote from Josh was the first quote from a contractor that was almost exactly what I would have quoted for the same job. Over the past 30 odd years I've done a lot of remodel work myself as well as with subs that I have contracted for pieces of my various projects. I generally have a good idea of the time and materials needed for most projects. Josh came up with a number that was very good for the work. His associate, Zach, showed up on time and worked effectively through the first really cold spell of this winter. On the second day when he arrived to finish the last couple of hours of finish and clean-up, the temperature was -4 but he showed up 30 minutes early. He didn't wait for it to warm up just a bit. The work was superb. I'm going to use Platinum for both a bathroom remodel I've got planned and the addition of a window to our dining room. This is a good company.

As stated above from start to finish this was a smooth project. Platinum Remodeling and Handyman Services, were...as always...on time and and completed the mini-remodel of the condo to perfection. Josh and his team truly do care and it is reflected in their finished product. I cannot imagine using anyone other then them. We have used them for years on projects big and small and will use them for years to come. They are honest and hard working and the result are perfection. After giving them our down payment, we had to chase them a month and a half later to get them to schedule the work. Once started they consistently were not there when they said they would be and did nothing to proactively tell us of missed dates. Once again leaving us to chase them. When we finally got them to come, much of the work was pretty shoddy. Leaving us to have to inspect every detail to ensure things were done. The worst part was the cabinet replacement. They used our dishes to store hardware, tore apart a part that was not related to the job, left some drawers poorly shutting and our trash pull out broke one week after completion. They eventually completed the job (or most of it) and we were happy to just get them out of our hair. But this was way too long after our first contact (approx 5 mos for a small job). The only shining light was the sub for carpeting - Joe's Carpet Service was AWESOME. Please use them directly.

I was having new countertops installed and the company doing the work was not able to complete installation due to a problem with one of my cabinets (wasn't level). I called Platinum and they "fit me into" their schedule quickly so I could get the countertop installation completed. They were great to work with and "Joe" who did the work for me did a great job, at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them. Very professional to work with!

This project went smoothly. Josh S. bid and set up the project and Josh N. did the work. Both showed up when expected and were polite and professional. Josh N. did a nice job cleaning up, always important to me. I am happy with the work and will hire this company again.

They are the most professional contracting group I have ever worked with. The quality of there work is great and they reacted quickly to feedback. I will utilize them for any other work that I need done within my home. Chad is great to work with and his crews were always on time and were in constant communication throughout the entire project.

It was actually fun. Most contractors are frankly a pain in the butt. Chad and crew worked with me every step of the way and it was stress free.

Platinum initially gave us a quote based on what the insurance adjuster considered damage, but we were concerned that they had not checked for water damage beneath the surface and therefore went back and forth with Platinum a number of times trying to figure out our options and getting quotes for the different options from them. Because of this, it took a few months to agree on the specific work we wanted them to do for us. Once we finally decided on what was to be done and the estimated cost, they put us on their schedule, which was a couple of months later. By the time the scheduled date came, they were a little behind because of the wet weather and had to push the date back a few days. The workers were on time, professional and did the job well. Because they had to dismantle the cabinet and bring it back later, they had already done the painting when the cabinet was reinstalled - the work was great, but they nicked up the newly painted wall when they reinstalled the cabinet, so we had to have their painter come back later to fix that. Everything was done well and with a positive attitude.

Found them on angies list ..they had good reviews. Josh came out right away & sent me a detailed estimate, Josh even went w/me to pick out the tub, toilet & faucets &towel bars. Everything went great,,Tile job is beautiful. They were great w/my dogs in the house .Anna did a wonderful job painting. they hung my mirror , chandelier & sconces perfectly. I love my bathroom!!! They are now redoing my soffitts & facia repair on the outside .They will finish soon and then Paint. I would highly recommend them & will only use them from now on.

A previous owner had removed much of the woodwork and replaced it with drywall. We demolished this existing work and then Platinum took over. They responded to our initial query right away and did the estimate within a week, and then had two carpenters complete the work over the course of a week, which was necessary given the need to custom match the stain and drying times of the stain and top coat. The only snag was some last minute rescheduling and pushing the work back by a month. There were many advantages in using Platinum. The estimate was exact in both time and cost, the team was very professional in terms of working on time and cleaning up, and the woodworking is first rate. Unless you look very closely, you would not know there was difference of 60 years between the older surrounding woodwork and the new installation. We are very pleased and will use Platinum again.

Went extremely well...from estimate to execution. Chad was very helpful with suggestions about that job and future plans. He also fit me in to a crowded schedule so I would be ready for the waterproofing in time. His team was quick, thorough and personable. I look forward to the remodel with Platinum!

One person handled the sheet rock in the ceiling. First he taped everything off before doing anything. The taping actually took longer than the patching. It is very important to me to have the work area enclosed because of asthma and our computers. The sheet rock dust was very minimal. Once he started on the sheet rock it went quick and smooth. Clean up was fast with removing the plastic and cleaning up the sheet rock dust. One person handled the bedroom door. He looked at a project that he had not been involved in and took it from there. After helping me understand where our eventual floor height would be he began with the door itself. It went well. He took his time to get things right and to make it fit absolutely perfectly into the area. Existing wood work was matched in a very creative way that makes the door look like that was the way it was always meant to be. Of course, we as homeowners, had no idea how any of it would work. The work was done with exquisite craftsmanship.

When we tore down the deck connected to the house, we uncovered damaged cedar siding and created a huge pile of wood deck debris. Chad came to our house, supplied an instant quote and scheduled a time for repair within a week. A Platinum employee demoed the water damaged siding and framing, then installed new cedar siding and framing. They also repaired a hole where a dryer vent was previously located. Dan came the next day and removed the pile of old deck wood. He did a great job of cleaning up. Platinum was prompt, speedy and professional. The whole process was painless!

The estimating process went very well. Josh was very responsive to my many inquiries about pricing and work being estimated. His explanation was very detailed and informative. Since we are purchasing most of the materials ourselves, he provided suggestions and weblinks to his suggestions. After we signed the contract, Josh provided a project schedule as promised. Work started right on time per the schedule. The Platinum crew took great care protecting our hard wood floor before starting the demo. Everything went as smoothly as one could possibly expect. When there were issues, Josh and his crew resolved them right away. We added on several things during the project. The Platinum crew still completed everything near the scheduled completion date. Dick, the master electrician, plumber and carpenter, was wonderful to work with. His quality workmanship was admirable. Anna, who did the painting, was awesome as well. Overall, I cannot commend the crew's attention to details enough. We are extremely satisfied with the work performed. We have several projects planned for the next couple of years and most definitely will be using Platinum again.

We selected Platinum because they had a good set of reviews on Angie's List and the estimator, Chad Krupa, did a good job of figuring out what needed to be done and also came up with the excellent suggestion of putting the long stair handrail on the other side of the stairs. We were delayed a week from the scheduled time because they got backed up with previous jobs due to lousy weather and there was a lack of communication about this until I called to ask where they were on the due date. This wasn't a big deal but would have been if we had been out of town the following week. When they got started, the master carpenter (Marty) who did the work, did a world class job. He was efficient, friendly, extremely skilled and finished everything in three days. The finished results are everything we hoped for. Top class workmanship.

It went great. I use them just about every other week. They are scheduled to come out again next week. They do good work overall. They are on time and they clean up well. They are also competitively priced. I really like Josh, the owner.

They were not on time for the job, nor was the projected completed on time. There was some miscommunication between the contractor and the company. They had to complete the job within a week, but took almost a month to finish. When I called the contractor he listened to what I said, but actioned nothing. I may not use their services in future.

They were prompt, courteous, and helpful. They answered all of our questions. They provided a fair estimate and stuck to it. The work was just exceptional! They are our go-to-people!

The cost was a little less than the estimate. They worked with us whenever we had concerns or questions. It took a little longer than anticipated, but that was mostly due to unforeseen plumbing issues in the wall and a delay on receipt of the glass block window. Everyone we worked with in the company was very helpful and friendly. We mostly worked with Chad, who was available anytime to answer questions. The made every effort to provide us with use of our only bathroom during the remodeling. The bathroom looks great and I am very happy with the completed job.

It went better than we could have imagined. We have heard so many horror stories from friends, family, and sites like Angie's List about difficulties working with contractors -- ever-expanding budgets and timelines, quality that was lower than expected, difficulty in communications, etc. NONE of this was an issue with Platinum. Josh built out a plan after some detailed consultation with us about our wants and needs. He always listened first, asked questions to clarify, and offered opinions when it was useful or when asked to help solidify the design. He provided realistic budget estimates throughout the project and made us aware of various tradeoffs or alternatives to guide our decision-making. Platinum always kept us informed about progress on the project and who would be doing what and when. Any issue we had (unavoidable in complex projects where not everything can be anticipated ahead of time) was dealt with quickly and to our full satisfaction. Platinum and Josh were truly amazing to work with, and we would recommend them to anybody with complete confidence. We will certainly use Platinum anytime we need outside assistance with our home projects, no matter how big or small.

Following our phone call for an estimate, Platrinum came out quickly and gave a quote. Due to insurance delay, it took us several weeks to get back to them on performing the work, which we then scheduled. Everything was completed as detailed including several change orders. They cleaned up the worksite every day and the employees were very friendly / personable.
