The gentleman was prompt and on time to fix our garage door which was installed incorrectly by another company. He fixed everything that was done wrong and now the door works perfectly. We previously hired this company to install a new garage door opener and they did a fantastic job. I would've hired them to install the new door, but they had a wait of a couple of days in the middle of winter so we unfortunately hired a different company. I would use Metro again and again. Nice work and thank you for your responsiveness.

Scott was very professional, did the work really fast and also explained what went wrong and how. It is all labor work, no parts involved. High quality work.

The gears in one garage door opener sheared. The technician, Steve, offered to replace the gear or install a new unit. A new unit with an internet coupon was about $100 more. Since he didn't have an 8' rail in the truck, he offered to come back or use the existing one, saving $35. The pricing was fair, with no pressure to up-sell. Steve was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. I would use Metro again.

They came in and did a safety check up on the door. The technician showed me where I would need to grease areas and went over what he was doing. We did not have any issues with scheduling with them and they contacted me right away.

In the midst of our out of town move, our springs on the garage door broke.......not a good time!! Called Metro and they came out within a few hours and had the springs replaced. Chad was a super nice guy/very professional. This was a LIFESAVER!!!!! Used the coupon and got a great price. Cant thank these guys enough

Very knowledgeable technician arrived on time and diagnosed problem within 10 minutes of arrival. After leaving to pick up parts, he had the door fixed within 30 minutes. He was also honest in his diagnosis and said my garage opening unit is a good one that should last several year!

The garage door works again so overall it was fine. Worst part was that I was charged $136 for a set of 7' cables that are available on Amazon for $6.72. The $40 tune up consisted of spraying everything with a can of oil, so not really worth the money there either. The serviceman was professional and did what he said he would. Not shy about recommending a LOT of things we 'should' replace, even though it wasn't necessary - typical for sales. Just a ridiculous up-charge on the parts.

It was a waste of our money. The person who came was fine. He was a nice person but we could have done exactly what he did to our garage door for the $59 with the $3 can of WD-40. He really didn’t do any work. It was a big deal purchase. We did not spend more than the $59.

This turned out good. I needed something repaired and they were able to do this for me. The technician was great.

He came out promptly, and had the work done in a very timely manner. The gentleman that came out to fix my issue was very kind and friendly. The prices are very comparable, I would recommend this company to any Angie's List member.

Scott was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job in all areas. I was amazed because when the cable broke, the garage door went crooked and bent the side rails. I was sure side rails would need replacing. It was good to deal with someone who did not try to sell me something I did not need.

The spring on the door broke. Metro garage was very responsive. I called and they fit us in. They also let me know they had a "deal" offered on Angie's list so I could purchase it to help me save money. They were so easy to work with - meeting the timing of our complex schedules and arriving 15 minutes early. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. I would definitely hire Metro Garage again - without shopping around.

It’s a big deal purchase for $59 for garage door tune-up but I ended up having to replace my garage door. That was probably a year and a half ago. That was a great service. They did a great job.

They were okay. They seemed to be doing the standard stuff, but it wasn’t a very personal service.

The service person came and checked one of our garage doors and also sprayed the rollers with a lubricant. The deal included a new set of rollers. However, the service person said all of our rollers were in really good condition so if we wanted, he could do an inspection and lubrication of one of our other garage doors instead (which we decided to do). He also was able to lower the sensors on our garage door to a safer level, as that was one of our concerns and one of the main reasons we wanted to do a garage door inspection. He did say normally there is an additional charge for adjusting sensors, but he was willing to do it at no additional charge. The price seemed a little high for the amount of time he was there and the work that was done (it was all done in about 20-30 minutes). However, it gave us peace of mind to have the sensors adjusted and to know that our garage doors and openers are functioning properly. If you are looking for a garage door tune-up and inspection, I would recommend this company.

Metro was great. My door came off the track Friday night and Saturday morning at 9:30am I called metro. The woman on the phone to schedule was pleasant and professional. Metro was able to have Randy come out for the repair later that afternoon. He called about 30 minutes before he arrived. He knew exactly what was wrong in seconds. He gave me multiple options of what I could do to fix the problem. Since I am moving soon I took the cheapest of the options. He was in and out in 30 minutes. Very pleasant to work with. I will always go to Metro for any further garage door needs.

It was fine. Everything about them was good. The work that they did turned out great and they really did what I expected. My interaction with them was very good. I bought a garage door opener from them for an additional $300.

The service turned out fine. They did what they needed to do, and they were very courteous when they came out. I paid an additional amount over the $59 of the big deal, but it wasn't very high for me to go ''wow''. I can't say anything stand out good or bad. I have had several garage door people, and they were in between, nothing exceptional or nothing to make me think I don't like the service. It was what I expected. I think the price was fair. It was a good promotion and the price was good, I was happy about that.

They were thorough and got in and got out without trying to upsell me.

I called the company asking for free estimate to repair our garage door. we needed to have the rubber piece at the bottom of the door to be replaced as well as the vinyl sealer that goes around the door. On the phone I was told that free estimates are given over the phone only. If a technician comes on site, there will be a $72 charge if I don't use them. When I asked about the free estimate listed in the AngiesList, I was told that is only true for if you want to have a new door installed. I decided to go for the $72 deal since this company has a high ranking in Angies List. The technician came - he was very professional. Looked at the door and told me that a few fixes are needed besides the bottom rummber. A couple of hinges were rusted and should be replaced. A tune up is needed as well. The vinyl searler needs to be replaced but must be ordered and installed whem arrives. He fixed the rubber at the bottom of the door, did the tune up and changed the two rusted pieces. This was on Friday 3/21/2014. On Tuesday, 3/25, they contacted me and informed me they could come on the same day and they did. After installing the vinyl in barely 30 minutes, I was charged additional $50 just for the installation. Overall, the job was well done and I am happy with the quality. Due to that I don't feel bad about the over charge in my opinion.

The guy was really good. It was a good deal. He came out and he tried to upsell us which I didn't go for. I just didn't feel like we needed that insurance. The work he did was really good. It was fine. He did a great job. He was in and out here really fast. It worked out really well. It didn't cost more than the big deal purchase. We were pretty content with the work that they did. It was exactly was advertised. I have a good impression with the person who came. He showed up when he was supposed to show up. They were smart. They left a tag with their company name on my garage wall beside the door opener. I called them back soon.
