Used their emergency service, two guys came over promptly and helped temporarily put together a garage door that had broken. There was timely followup with their sales person Chad who was professional and helpful. We decided to replace all three garage doors. They did a good clean job. Everything looks and works great.

The service went well. They completed the job in 1 day with one technician. We had 3 bids and their deal was the best for the price. The doors still work just fine to this day. They did a good job and I have no complaints. There were a few things that they needed to come back to fix. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling their service.

Our garage door broke on a Monday afternoon. When we called Metro later that day they were able to send someone out the next day. They offer 4 hour windows for appointments. You don't have to be home but someone needs to let them in the house. (They will not just go in if you leave the door unlocked). We had a neighbor let them in so we didn't even have to take off work to just let them in. Since we were not home at the time of the service, I cannot comment on the puntuality or professionalism but have used them before and have like their previous work and professionalism. The door works great. Other than having the door fixed, you wouldn't know that they were even there. They warranty their work for 30 days but did not have an issue the last time we used them.

Very professional. Cleaned up well. Garage door works very well.

Service technician was very professional and thoroughly explained to me my issue and possible options for resolving as my issue was not a simple repair.

It went great. I scheduled the appointment the day before, and their scheduler was prompt, polite and clear on when the technician would be able to arrive. The technician arrived 15 minutes earlier than he said, and was really prompt in identifying the problem and outlining a quote. He had the work done in about 30 mins, and took the time to explain some simple ways to maintain the garage door opener for the future (using WD-40 to grease the wheels every 3 months, setting the garage door to a lower height to prevent wear and tear to the springs). Overall an excellent experience.

The service was done quickly and the gentlemen offered suggestions on what I can do throughout the year to keep the door working smoothly.

They quoted the approximate price, they showed up on time and did exactly what they said they would do. A few days after the repair - the door was closing slightly our-of-square. I called and they pleasantly came back for an adjustment without charge and/or complaint. VERY good service and I would HIGHLY recommend.

One of the coils/springs on our garage door broke and the door would not operate. I called Metro and they scheduled an appointment for the following morning. Scott showed up on time and replaced both springs. The job was completed quickly and with no issues. The door is working fine and they provided a 60 month warranty on the new springs. We will use Metro Garage Door again if needed.

I bought this service as a "Big Deal". Service tech arrived on time, performed his work professionally.

Sales person showed up on time and provided us with a good selection of doors to choose from. He inspected and measured the garage area but failed to notice the old garge door opener was powered electric wise via hot wired. We had a set budget to spend for this type of work. We selected a more expesive door than we had to based on what we budgeted. We waited a couple weeks for the door to arrive and ended up having to put down payment of $700 for the order. The installer arrived on time and witin 30 seconds of arrival stated he could not install the door opener because it was hot wired and he was not an electrician. He said the sales person should have saw this upon his inspection and informed us of this. The sales person's remedy was for us to run an extension cord from the opener to our wall outlet. He admitted this was not meeting code and we would eventually need to have an outlet install next to the opener upon selling our home so it meets code. Our whole purpose for replacing the door was to put our home up for sale and we wanted to improve the home's appearance from the street. Had we known we needed to have an outlet installed it would have influenced the type of door we selected cost wise. Because the door we selected was ordered and we put $700 down we felt trapped / obligated to stay with this company and seeing the work through. I asked for compensation for the incompetent inspection by the sales person but was only given $50 credit. I spent $265 to have an electrician install an outlet. The installer for Metro did a nice job. We are happy with the work performed but not happy with the sales person and the company's response to our concers. They credited us $50 dollars for $265 added cost. Bottem line, we ended up paying more than $200 more for someone's poor performance.

The contractor did a good job and was friendly and professional. He provided information regarding the potential need for replacement parts.

My experience was good. They had installed our garage doors originally. They were quick and the work was simple.

Great. They came home after a couple of days from request. Technician was knowledgeable and polite.

After calling, a tech arrived in about an hour. (This after another company I had called didn't even return my phone call.) He got the spring replaced in about a half hour. He worked for a while trying to get the wiring for the electric eye to work. (He obviously knew what he was doing with the whole system.) He eventually said that he couldn't get the electric eye to work and that our system was probably about 20 years old (it was 25) and that he couldn't get parts for the electric eye or anything else on our system. He recommended replacing the whole mechanism that raised & lowered the door. It would not just repair the system but would give us capabilities of a modern system). He had parts and a replacement on his truck and I told him to go ahead and replace it. He got that done in about an hour. The system works great now. (He also check the whole system and tightened all screws that were loose and lubricated the whole thing. I couldn't be happier with the time it took for him to come and complete the work. I stress that he clearly knew the guts of the door system and was clearly using it.

It did not fix the problem. I began to open automatically again in a few months. I purchased a new opening unit. I think that should have been suggested.

Tyler the Tech. was very professional and a pleasure to talk with. I was amazed at how fast the old door came down and the new door was installed. Would have no problem recommending Metro Garage Door and Tyler to family and friends. Excellent experience!

As it turned out, all we needed was a good spray of WD40, which he demonstrated so I could see the immediate fix. Unfortunately I had paid upfront for the deal so he was honest enough to tell me next time just to call them first and I could have saved some money upfront. He also let me know we didn't need new rollers, but since I had purchased them as part of the package, he advised me to keep them for future potential use.

The technician arrived on time, knew his stuff and was able to repair my garage door within 30 minutes. If I have any trouble in the future with my garage door, I know that I will be calling Metro Garage Door Co again.

Metro Garage Door was very professional. The price was more than originally quoted over the phone, but salesman explained that's because I needed an additional part. It was suggested that I maintenance my garage doors (they squeak a lot). It would have been a nice bonus if that service had been offered for free. The door is working very well now.

He came right on time, within a few hours of my calling. He told me what he saw and what he thought was wrong. He said if anything else was wrong upon inspection he'd let me know. He fixed and readjusted and reset everything so it runs smoothly now. He was punctual, friendly, and effective.

The door opens so quietly and smoothly now. I think he saved us from a more costly repair later.

I requested a refund as the timed the provider was available were not convenient for me.
