This company is following up well with us regarding a tune-up we had done in August. Changed ratings to reflect our improved satisfaction with their customer service.

I called around noon and they were here by two. Impressive.

Metro Garage Door was prompt and reasonable. They were out early the next morning and quickly finished the job. Dan the technician was courteous, very prompt and profession. The springs were replaced in no time and I would definitely use them to replace my door when that time comes. Thank you Metro Garage Door.

everything went fine after we had a little trouble getting the time right

Yesterday morning we couldn't get the garage door to open. The motor would work to get the left side to come up just an inch, but the right side didn't move at all and the motor would quit trying. I called Metro Garage Door around 8AM, and agreed to a service window ending at 12 noon. The repair guy was there by 10:45AM, and completed the work by 11:30. He had all the necessary parts in his truck so no running around. Nice guy, worked quickly and answered all my questions. Great service.

My garage door opener stopped working one night; the motor ran but the chain did not move. It is a 11 year old unit, so some problems can be expected. I called Metro Garage Door, and they scheduled a tech to come out the next morning. (They did offer emergency service right away at a higher charge, which I did not need.) They gave me a "8am-noon" morning appointment, which is a tight a window as they schedule. Tom, the tech assigned to the work, called me about 20 minutes before he arrived, which I liked. He arrived about 10:45 and spent about a few minutes diagnosing the problem, then quoted the estimated repair cost of $205 including parts and labor. I approved the estimate,and in about 45 minutes.he replaced the broken gears with new ones, and verified the door opener now worked as expected. He also adjusted the door travel distance, and explained to me how to monitor and adjust this in the future if needed. He was all finished before noon. Tom is knowledgeable and has a nice personality. I had used Metro several years before. I found they delivered as expected again this time.

The technician was very professional and efficient. Finished the work as quick as possible. Mine was done in 30 mins. Great job!

Our house was struck by lightning. Our garage doors would close but not open. We called Metro and they came the next morning to assess the damage. They recommended new openers and replacing the chain drive with belt drive. Metro came back the next day to install the openers. While there, they replaced a rusted rail and some rollers that were worn out. Now the doors work like new. I appreciated the fast and friendly service. The doors are more quiet now. Our old openers were over 15 years old, so it was a good time to replace them.

Appointment made, service person arrived while I was at work, phoned me to report on findings and conduct PM & repair.

I wasn't home when the work was performed. To my knowledge, everything went fine.

We've used them quite a bit for garage door maintenance, so they were the only choice, really, when the old garage door stopped working. The service people are always friendly, and the door they installed has worked great. They gave us two choices, and we chose the nicer door.

I was quoted $162 for the spring. The installer lubed the cables and never said it would be an additional $41. If I had known it was going to cost $41 for something that should cost less than $5 and something I could do myself, I would have said no, but he didn't even give me an option. Just went ahead and did it and then I see I was charged the additional $41, so I called and the manager said he would credit me. It is now May 14th and I have yet to see a credit. As a professional you really should stick to your promise.

Well, I thought it went really well on Monday because he said our unit was fine. I thought a replacement was going to be needed, as you guys had been out before(last year) and stated there were issues with the unit, but it was still working. So $122.39 was great. Until the unit stopped working again that night. They came out VERY quickly on Wednesday and decided replacement was necessary. They did not charge me the $47 trip fee due to them being out on Monday, and they did give me $25 off of the replacement. Replacement was another $446.

The company was very responsive; I even got a same-day appointment. I was told the technician would call when about 15 minutes away, and he did that, and arrived on time. Very friendly, easy to work with. Explained all the adjustments made.

Not very well, because what I purchased I didn't need. I paid for the service that I thought I needed in advance through Angie's List. The technician came and diagnosed a different problem that cost me less. He said he couldn't refund me because they didn't

Everything was as expected. They did the work and my garage door was now safe and worked well.

They performed the work while I was at work and when I got home I was able to use my garage door. It is perfect! The lady that took my call this morning was friendly and caring of my situation. Came up with solutions to get my door up and running. I know that everyone has a garage door, so use this company they are amazing.

door still doesn't operate correctly at times

They came out to look at it. They ended up replacing a sensor. It is working fine now. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them.

They did just fine. They came on the agreed time. They did everything that was expected. Only one person came out. There was nothing to clean. It was a good experience. They were on time. The fellow was friendly. Nothing sticks out negative with the experience. I haven’t had any issues with the garage door.
