Description of Work: A-1 moved boxes and furniture from 2 locations. They were quick and careful with what they moved. Definitely worth the price and we would use them again without a doubt.

Description of Work: A-1 and their associate, Stevens Moving, did a fine job. They came on time in MN to our home and took our goods and furniture out in 3 hours. They loaded us on first, so it did take 8 days to get to VA to our new address. Movers and the driver, Bill, were very professional and kept track of everything. No problems at all with the move-in although it was a very long carry to our new apartment. I put a B for punctuality, but given that they had a bunch of loads to carry, that did seem reasonable. Fred helped a lot with the estimate, payment in the end and with answers to questions we had about what we couldn't bring, etc. This is a good company whose Angie's list record is very fine.

Description of Work: A-1 Movers is a really good moving service, based on my experience. Overall, they met my expectations, and then some. I would certainly use them again or recommend them to a friend!

Description of Work: They moved all of my larger furniture pieces to our new home. They were very efficient and were careful when handling larger items not to damage walls/floors. They were on time and even held my load overnight to accommodate my move in date.

Description of Work: they packed my things (1145sf) kept it overnight because i was not getting into my new place til next day, and moved me in , set up any items(bed,table) . No damage, very professional.

Description of Work: Brian took my "short notice" reservation, followed up the day before move w/ a confirmation. Two young men arrived on time, worked carefully & diligently, and got all things moved from the apartment to a storage facility without a mishap and in such a timely manner that my bill was less than I expected it to be. I am the member of a 4-generation family-owned moving & storage co in another state, and have made 6 major moves, and am kind of a picky person!!
