Not good, I asked specifically for the movers to take the antique table apart before moving it, but they ignored that even though I asked twice & then they broke it! I needed that table for my studio work so it's a great inconvenience. It's still being repaired & no discount or consideration was given me, and zero respect for my schedule. The manager actually laughed at me for asking. Worst service ever.

Move was quick and efficient and employees were professional and easy to work with

They were efficient unlike some companies that take their time to get paid more by the hour. They also did not charge extra for moving on a Saturday. There was an additional fee for a piano.m but SO worth it. The movers were pleasant to work with!

As part of booking the appointment we got $100 in supplies, which we picked up at the headquarters in Golden Valley. There, Fred talked with us about his company, how best to pack our belongings, and what processes are the most time consuming (and expensive) to have the movers do. He was fair, honest, and truly interested in doing what the most beneficial for his clients. The crew of three showed up promptly on time (8am) and were efficient yet careful. They had the truck loaded in two hours and by noon they were on their way. The guys were able to get everything where we wanted, including an elliptical machine down a narrow staircase, without incident. We enjoyed having these guys help our move all our possessions to our new home and are thankful for the courteous service they provided.

I could not have asked for better service. They were prompt, professional, friendly and extremely respectful to my client. When items did not fit in the new home my client asked them to take things to a storage unit and they were happy to. They worked late, well past what was scheduled and it was a Friday night. We had 3 movers and they were super strong - moved the refrigerator, washer, dryer, and completely filled the truck.

Ive used A-1 several time. Moves have been small, like this one but so much better than doing this myself. The team they send has always been polite, respectful, willing to go the extra mile. this last move was exceptionally warm out and no complaints about the heat. I appreciated how they stacked the items in my locker to acheive maximum use.

A-1 was very professional from beginning to end. They were punctual, polite, and came in right around the estimate. They sent a team of 3 to help with the move (we had done our own boxes and just had A1 move the larger items...BTW the boxes were provided by A-1 through a promotion). The team was very fast, with very little downtime. They had a very positive attitude throughout the entire move, and even seemed to enjoy the move. I would highly recommend A-1 for your move, as they did what I hoped for, which is meet/exceed expectations!

l do NOT recommend this moving company to anyone!!!I used them to move my things out of my town home and into a storage facility. I found 3/4 of my breakable items broken. Several of the broken items have been in my family for years and can NOT be replaced. They also broke a mirror when they came to pick up my things and set it on the side of my town home so I didn't notice it until after they left. The owner we dealt with for payment was extremely rude and condescending. He kept calling the moving men and telling them to hurry up. When I discovered my broken items and called one of the owners he said they didn't brake anything and hung up on me. Please Never use this company. They were awful to deal with and should not be in business!

They were fast and I gave the guys a tip both times but later discovered I should have kept my money. I noticed after the move to storage that the black lacquer finish on the piano they moved was marked and and had been clean before the move. During the move to the house one of the movers showed me a chair that was "already" broken and later we found an expensive desk that had the leg broken. They sent over a furniture repairman who did a really poor job of gluing the two pieces of furniture, I wish I had repaired it myself, he didn't make an effort to properly line up the pieces. We noticed later that other dressers had crushed corners and other "movers rash". I have moved across the country twice and never had so much damage and this was just moving across town. I will not use them again.

Antonio and Mario were terrific. On time and moved three rooms of furniture in a split level home to stage for selling. Went so well they were able to complete in under an hour. Well worth the cost. They could not have been better or more helpful. Will definitely use this compamy for our move.

I was able to get an appointment for the next day (with a 3 hour window) and workers called 1/2 hour before showing up. They got everything moved quickly and without damage to furniture or property. Because it was such a small move, I had to pay their 2 hour minimum.

Aaron, Carlos, and the other Carlos were on time, efficient, and professional. Job well done. I would recommend them to others.

A week before our schedule move we received a call from the owner and were told that the interstate carrier they are affiliated with (Sorenson) would be unable to move us as scheduled. They had overbooked and couldn't move us until a week later. Totally unacceptable and we were doubtful we could find a substitute on such short notice. To his credit, Fred Nichols (owner) found us another moving company (Suddath/United) that could take us on short notice and things worked out fine. I could not recommend this company for an interstate move due to this snafu, but I think Fred's level of customer service will serve you well for local moves.

It went great! I was pleasantly surprised that they were done in 3 hours start to finish. In addition to the moving they put my new sofa together, set up my bed and china hutch, and even fixed a table leg that I had broken the night before! I used this company when it was called Sorensen's, many years ago, and I'm happy to say that my second experience was also positive!

A-1 Moving sent two people and that was enough. They arrived on time an were very motivated and would run off the truck to pickup the next items. They were done in four and a half hours and you get what you pay for. Other moving companies required three people and higher hourly rates. I am very glad I chose A-1 Moving and will use them again.

The company assigned two movers to the job, which worked out fine (on a bid from a different company, he wanted to send three movers for a higher hourly rate). They arrived about 15 minutes past the arrival window, not a big deal since their charge for transit time was a fixed amount. We did a short walk-through where I explained that there were a number of items that were being left behind for the home buyer. I had marked everything, but still I appreciated that they kept it all straight. The two guys were strong and worked steadily. There was one slightly challenging piece of furniture, a sideboard with a mirror and marble top that needed to be taken apart for the move and put back together at the destination. They did a great job with that. For breakables like lamps, they removed the lightbulbs and lampshades and suggested that I take those in my car. I appreciated the attention to detail. I would use A-1 Movers again.

On time. Great communication let me know when they were on their way. Ordered a 2-man crew and they sent a 3-man crew and only charged for the 2-man crew. The rates were VERY reasonable. I shopped around. The guys they sent worked VERY HARD. Wasn't the most difficult move ever but these guys kicked a**. Couldn't be happier with their effort, the results, or the cost. Of all the crap I paid for buying and selling a house, easily the best money I spent. Thanks guys

They were great. It was really reasonable considering that we started out not moving it as much and then they took over and did what we needed. They were great! They were awesome! We had a problem and they fixed it. Their price, quality, and responsiveness were great. Their punctuality and professionalism were perfect.

The moving team was not told in advance about the boxes and other supplies they needed to bring on the day of the move. However, this was resolved. They also nicked a couple of walls in the stairwell, which is something to expect with a move. The team was very courteous, polite and respectful. They treated our things just like their own. We highly recommend A-1 and will use them again when the time comes.

Overall it went well. The movers worked very well and efficiently to get me out and in. There were a few dings which were disappointing. The most troublesome aspect was that there was one item I know for sure that I didn't get back and didn't realize it until some time after the move when I went to go look for it to use it. That is a little disconcerting, as it makes me wonder if there is anything else I didn't get back. My suggestion is pack everything in boxes regardless of size and shape.

The only problem I had was that the owner did not call me 1/2 hour before they were to arrive so I was not at the location when they arrived. However, the guys that actually did the move were very friendly, efficient, and did a great job. They also finished sooner that originally planned so I saved some money. They were careful with my belongings and even moved my plants for me. They typically do not move plants because they can't guarantee they will survive but they did move them per my request and I really appreciated it because I could not have moved them myself. The plants are alive and doing fine. I really appreciate the service these guys provided and would definitely use them again. Thanks A-1 Moving!
