The movers showed up right on time with a huge truck (bigger than they needed, but it was better than showing up with a truck that was too small). I had made arrangements for only two guys to help based on a phone quote with the office, and my move was perfect for two guys. They did a very professional job. We had the items moved out of the house in about an hour. i was amazed at how quickly (and professionally) they worked. The final location was a condo on the third floor, so it took considerably longer to move the items into the new location. The two guys worked well as a team unloading the truck, schlepping through the hallways and up the elevator, and bringing items into the small condo.They were *very* patient as I decided where to put specific pieces of furniture (and then changing my mind). I appreciated that they disassebmled and reassembled my bed. One tip for movers, though -- have baggies available for the hardware. One bolt for my bed was lost in the move, and I felt like it slowed down the move to look for it. Overall, I felt like they took good care of my belongings. Nothing was dented or scratched. They were careful going through doorways. Plus they were friendly and easy to work with.

We had only one inexpensive floor lamp damaged and there was a miscommunication with the insurance. I had said I had wanted insurance but they forgot to charge me for it. They told me that I could pay for the insurance after the fact and they would replace the lamp, however the insurance was more expensive than the lamp so I replaced it myself. They came at 9:00 in morning to pack up my house, I left to go to my closing and when I returned around 1:00 pm they had packed up my whole house and my storage locker and were waiting for me! They were always on time, very professional, I never could have done it all myself. I would use them again.

Fred came to our house and give us an estimate, which we accepted. He left us a large number of boxes for packing. The moving truck arrived exactly on schedule. They moved everything perfectly without a scratch. The three movers were very professional. The moved us into a condo building and did an excellent job of moving through the hallways and placing everyting perfectly. They were awesome. They were a little more expensive than was estimated, but they did a great job. They worked really hard and were a great crew of guys. It was a hard house to move into in terns of stairs and things. They were careful, courteous, and fun. I would use this provider again.

When I called to get an estimate, they were very friendly and helpful. My husband was the one who met them at the home and was there during the loading and unloading. They did their job efficiently, and professionally. My husband was very impressed with their attitude, and work. We will definitely call them again.

Well they were great, easy to deal with. They were recommended, they were very professional, and made what we needed to do, they did a great job.

I was very satisfied with how easy it was to use A-1 Moving. They loaded all of my packed items and moved them to my new house. Then the unloaded my belongings at my new house. They made the job fast and easy. I will give them an "A" on everything.

They arrived on time for their scheduled appointment. Everything was packed nicely and nothing was damaged or missing when it finally reached us. They coordinated everything with the long range movers. They told us it would take 3-11 business days for the long range movers to get to Santa Fe. We arrived 3 days after they packed up our things so we would be ready. It was difficult to get information from them on when our belongings would arrived. We finally were able to find out that they left Minneapolis on day 11 of our promised expectation. It took the long range mover 10 days to reach Santa Fe.

There were three of them. They were extremely careful and we didn't find any scratches etc. They were very helpful and would ask where we wanted the furniture. They were more than willing to move it if we weren't happy where it was placed. They were cost conscious and would let us know what we could do to lower costs.

They were on time, helped me put some items in my car as I had smashed fingers and was rather useless. No fooling around or wasted time. Also assembled Ikea bed for me, which is no fun. Cost and time were less than I had budgeted for, which is nice. Highly recommend.

They were very good about communication, moved date from Friday to Monday - did not seem to be an issue. Movers showed up on time as promised, two men moving team. They seem to know what they're doing. Everything was moved and packged into big van (a little too big for my mediocre stuff) and wrapped. Once they were done they followed me to the drop off point and unpacked and moved everything as directed. They laid out the paper so the house didn't get dirty which was very nice. Overally everything was great except for the pricing structure. I actually did a lot of the moving the weekend before Monday and so only the "big" stuff were left, under 10 items.I got a quote online and it was actually cheaper than what I paid while quored with more items. I'm not sure what the deal was but I was a little shocked when I saw that the bill was for almost $500 to move about 10 items 3 miles away. I was actually expecting a lower price - I asked about the cost before they moved and they said that once they get all the items loaded in they have a "tally" system (points 1, 2, 3, etc...) and will provide that once done. Would be great to actually see a breakdown of what was what and/or why I was charged higher than quoted. Overall good service, might not use nor recommend them again due to the price discrepancies and value.

Did a great job coordinating our move as well as providing interim storage. Worked with us to reduce the cost by providing local climate controlled storage until we had finalized our out-of-state move until cheaper fall rates took effect. Both packing and unpacking crews were very professional. Final Delivery truck driver was very good, conscientious and professional. Would definitely recommend again.

The packers arrived on time and did the packing the day before my move. They were polite and good workers. I moved my stereo equipment myself and they gave me some pointers on the packing boxes. The move the next day was accomplished in a much shorter amount of time than I expected, and again, the movers worked quickly and efficiently. The move also came in under estimate. There was a charge for boxes but it is refunded if you return them and I did. I would refer them to friends and would use them for future moves.

I was very pleased with both moves. I was particularly pleased with the move back into the house. The movers were very careful of my newly refinished floors, and asked whether I had felt that they could put on the feet of my furniture to avoid damaging the new finish. I didn't. When my move came in at less time than the two hour minimum, the Sorensen's employee who was in charge of the move suggested that I should get the felt to protect the floors so that they could put it in place. He then went with me to a local hardware store, where he showed me the felt that I needed, which they then put on the furniture. He totally went above and beyond. He saved me from my own ignorance, and I very much appreciate the service. I recommend them without reservation.

They did a great job. The 2 guys who came really knew what they were doing and got the job done very quickly. Price was higher than I had hoped but seemed to be the going rate.

When I called for information, a rep came out to my home to do a quick estimate. We were right on the borderline between one truck and two trucks, so we talked about how we could get it down to one truck. The day before the move they confirmed a window of 8-8:30 the next day. One guy showed up early and just waited in his car for the other two guys to show up with the truck, which they did at 8:30 (and it was a very rainy day, so I imagine they might have even had some slow traffic). They were quick, efficient and careful moving our household. They got everything in the truck in 2.5 hours, including an old, heavy player piano. On the way to our destination, they agreed to pick up a sofa sleeper we were buying on Craigslist. We were moving from a house in Rogers to an apartment in St. Paul and they had considerably more challenge moving into the apartment. They couldn't get the moving truck into the parking garage so, they had to park very far from our apartment. They moved everything in the elevator and took a very long walk down the hall to our apartment. It took almost 5 hours to get everything moved in. Nothing broke or got scratched. It seemed that one of the guys was in training because the other guy was giving him guidance, saying things like "handles are for customers. We don't use the handles" regarding some handles on an old trunk they were moving. I was very pleased and would use them again.

I gave them pretty short notice (three weeks) that I needed help moving at the end of the month, and they were able to fit me right in despite how busy they are with moving several people at the end of the month. Very friendly. I received a confirmation call the day before the move. They showed up at 8:45a for an 8a appointment. Moved me in two hours, so very quick and efficient. Weather was very hot and humid, but that didn't slow them down. They were very enjoyable people, and I would use them again in the future.

It went very well from beginning to end. They very friendly when I went to pick-up boxes and throughout the move. They were careful not to scratch anything and had everything carefully wrapped, They also all moved at a quick pace. They took their lunch break while I finished my closing at my new place so I didn't get charged for that hour. I also liked the fact they recycle the boxes and you get your money back.
