We discovered some significant ice dams in our gutters that appeared to be close to lifting the shingles on our roof. We did not have any leaking problems, but knew we probably needed to address the problem right away. We called The Ice Dam Guys and they said they would be able to come out to our house within a few hours. In the meantime, my husband climbed the ladder to inspect the dams a bit more and called a friend who had a similar experience. The friend suggested a couple options before having someone come out to professionally remove them. We called The Ice Dam Guys back to let them know we were going to wait and see before we decided to have the work done, and they were very understanding. They had no problem cancelling our appointment and said to let them know if we had any questions. We really appreciated their willingness to help and understanding when we decided not to pursue the job further.

Company responded quickly after my call and someone arrived within three hours to perfom work. Job was finished same day.

They did a great job. I highly recommend this company. They were able to come out on the same day I called, which is always impressive. They were professional, nice, and did everything needed. The price is a bit high, but they do use top-quality equipment and get the job done properly. Extra thanks to Mike, who did the project himself. He was very thorough and very friendly. A pleasure to interact with. I also appreciate that he shoveled the roof-ice off our sidewalks when he finished. The person on the phone (our first contact) was also courteous and helpful.

We had a leak coming in through a light fixture in a home that is less than two years old. We thought there was an ice dam so we called to have someone come out to steam our roof. Josh showed up promptly at the time we were given and determined very quickly the issue was not an ice dam. He went up into our attic and determined there was a pipe that went from our furnace up thru the attic to e vent in the roof. It was leaking near the roof of the house, dripping down onto the plastic, into the insulation and down into the light fixture. He suggested we contact our builder since our house is less than two years old. Everyone I spoke to starting with Jay who first returned my call, to Joe (the owner)', who called me back regarding some questions I had and last but not least, Josh who completed the work, they were all extremely helpful and professional. We will call these guys in the future. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Not e least expensive but you get what you pay for.

I called them last year and got a quote on some work. This year I called them back and pulled the trigger. Joe responded back to me right away every time, and we set a date for the work to be done. On the evening of that date I got home to Joe's crew just finishing up, and I was very happy with the results. This was definately one of my lower stress engagements with a contractor in a while. I am absolutely planning on using them again.

I called around 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday (when I noticed the issue) and called them up. The women said it would be approximately 1-1 1/2 hours before someone could get there but a technician would call me in the next 20 minutes. Both were true although I think it was closer to just an hour for the guy to come. He then hooked up to the water faucet and set up. He shoveled the areas above the ice dams and then cut the ice into chunks and it came down. They have a 2 hour minimum and he was there for 3 hours, but at the 2 hour mark he asked if I wanted him to continue or what I wanted. He worked even while it was dark and did great work! Very professional and hard working. I would definitely recommend them, they did great work and were very punctual. I didn't do a ton of research on price because I was more concerned with someone coming to clear our ice dams to prevent further damage.
