Troy and his crew did a great job on the drywall hanging, taping and mudding in my basement walls and ceiling. The crew that was here was all very respectful and polite and my basement looks great!

There are few businesses that impress me anymore. My former profession encompassed every facet of maintenance, welding, Hvac, Pluming, Electrical, flooring, roofing, windows, painting, sheetrocking, etc...and sniffing out charlatans became almost a second profession. After all, when you work for a multi-million dollar corporation as their head lead supervisor, you deal with many vendors who are always wanting your business and it is up to you to make sure those selections are productive with quality and timing in mind with reasonable price of course. You may wonder why I bring all of this back story into this review. It is quite simple. With a combined experience of over 50 years with myself and the painter who will be painting my garage, the results Mudslingers produced impressed us beyond words. The first crew that Troy sent out, were three gentleman who hung the sheetrock. They worked and cut sheetrock around obstacles that normally are never present on the ceiling and walls of course. Watching them work was like watching a finely tuned watch operate as each person completed a task and the efficiency was unbelievable. The gaps of seams were non-existent. The cuts around boxes were tight and without gap. Screw lines were perfect up and down, side to side and overhead was no different. The true sign of professional rockers, is the gap and the cut finished with straight screw lines top to bottom. Shady contractors will leave massive gaps in the rock with cuts that are ridiculously wide around electrical boxes as an example and then expect the tapers and mudders to come behind and close those gaps with mud and tape. What do you think happens over time to those huge gaps covered in tape and mud? When the sheet-rocking job was complete, a person could have simply left it as is due the fact it looked amazing as it was. The tape and mud crew showed up next and with only two visits, completed one of the most amazing flat wall and ceiling spackle jobs we had ever seen. The quality of work and craftsmanship was on full display as there was not one single fault I, or the painter, could find in their work. The floor was taped with paper protection on the entire floor and not just spots here and there and having this type of quality work, make it so much easier on the painter and that flat-wall appearance that only the best can produce without flaws. The end result is one of the most phenomenal jobs I have ever seen and it speaks volumes to the perfection and OCD style work that I performed and expect from others. To have a company with two work crews that work in such cohesive harmony and perfection with each other to produce these results, is rare. My garage will look better than most peoples kitchens or living rooms due to the high quality flat wall process they produced. Anybody that expects perfection at a reasonable amount of money with timely completion, one only needs to look at Mudslingers. If I ever have to have any other work done inside my house, I can assure you that job will go to Troy and Mudslingers.

Troy and his crew were the best. Quality work, fair pricing, and great communication. All work was completed on schedule, if not sooner. We even had a couple of last minute additions we asked to have done, and Troy managed to work them into the schedule. We highly recommend Mudslingers.

The crew did a great job from the top on down. Easy to get in contact with, tolerant of my goofy questions, professional and easy to interact with while they worked etc. Somehow they managed to create what I'd seen in my head for years as I dreamed about getting those rooms done. Can't compliment the crew enough for the great work they did. We are already planning on calling on them again for another room we are wanting to get redone.

Everything was seamless - requested a quote and had a competitive estimate provided at no cost the next day. Work started within 2 weeks of the initial request and finished substantially ahead of schedule. The work itself is fantastic, and the team that did the work was punctual, polite, and professional. I would recommend them without hesitation!

Troy came up with a great layout for the walk out level that included a half bath with access to a large walk-in laundry area, and a wonderful triangular storage area. The remaining space is a large family finished family room. Troy was easy to work with and helped us define exactly what we wanted, which included replacing the hollow-core doors with solid wood, removing a portion of a wall to open up flow, and even included an additional outside electrical outlet. The garage and storage space got drywall, insulation where needed, and given a finished taping so that the walls and ceiling could be painted. Additionally, shelves were hung in the garage. In order to avoid the cost of a storage space during the project, Troy broke the project down into 2 parts, the garage update (where everything was stored in the unfinished walk-out space) and then the storage space and family room/half bath/laundry room (which everything stored in the garage). I am sure this slowed down the project for Troy, but it really made life during the projects easier, and cheaper, for us. All of the workmen who came out were very professional. They did their jobs, asked questions when they needed information, and answered our questions. I never had a concern about any of them being in our home when we weren't there. True craftsmen, very pleasant people, and hard workers. Because of the scope of the project, we often came across changes/additions we wanted to the plan. Troy always was willing to listen to what we wanted and very willing to make changes. He even came up with options where were less expense than originally thought. Even with the problems of doing a large project during COVID and its shortages, we only had one delay in getting product (the carpeting) on time. The only caveat I would make is that the plans given to the workers were not super detailed. But the workers often asked if they were unsure "Do you want the lights to have a dimmer, door to the left or right, etc." For me this was not a problem, but it may be disconcerting for some. Whenever there was something which needed to be addressed (a chip in the veneer of the door frame, etc) I just contacted Troy and he had someone out quickly to fix it. All in all Mudslingers took my dark unfinished walkout level and converted it to a light, warm, and welcoming family room. The garage and storage areas are also much better, finished, and have increased storage capacity. We have been very pleased with our remodeling projects and would definitely hire them again.

Troy and his crew were phenomenal! They kept to a tight schedule during Covid and did a great job. Any time something came up they were quick to address and were very easy to work with. Everyone on his team, including sub-contracted work were excellent and very helpful/knowledgeable. Troy was always accomodating for our tight budget and helped us get what we wanted within the agreed upon budget with no surprises. Will be hiring again for more work. Work done: his team finished our basement (1000 sqft), including framing, electrical, HVAC, insulation, drywall, mudding, water lines, painting and carpentry work (doors, trim, etc.)

We hired Mudslingers for several projects, removal of popcorn ceiling, interior painting, and staircase remodel. While the removal of the popcorn ceilings and painting were completed to our satisfaction, we had a very disappointing experience with the staircase remodel. Mudslingers required a large down payment before starting the project (we were verbally informed this was in order to purchase the materials to be installed). The project started on time with the removal of the existing staircase walls and railings. After the walls and railings were removed, the contractor went to buy the materials for the new railings (i.e. posts, spindles, and handrails). Per our contract, the materials to be used were to be maple to match our hardwood floors. However, the materials in maple were not available when the contractor went to pick them up after removing the walls and previous railings. While at the supplier, the contractor phoned us and requested to replace the maple materials with oak. Put on the spot, we agreed on the condition that the oak could be matched to the hardwood floors. The alternative was to wait an undetermined amount of time for maple (and live with the demolished staircase until it became available). We were assured that the materials could be matched. After completion the contractor admitted that the grain of the oak does not match with the maple flooring and stair treads (a different contractor completed the stair treads). Mudslingers agreed to replace the oak with maple. After months of back-and-forth, the contractor brought samples for the replacement railings by and told us that the samples were maple. Upon further investigation we noticed the contractor had forgotten to remove the SKU label that indicated the wood was not maple, but in fact poplar. We notified Mudslingers that the wood was still not correct and since then they have stopped communicating with us. In short, we do not recommend Mudslingers for any carpentry work.

It went very well. We had to fix our basement bedroom after we had a basement waterproofing company deconstruct walls to install structural supports, water barriers, and a new sump pump. I was very impressed with Troy, who presents as clean-cut, competent, and professional. He provides great customer service with clear and regular communication. Everyone on his crew was very competent and well-organized, and they kept the work area clean. We were very pleasantly surprised that they were able to complete the project within a week or two and so close to the holidays. Everyone showed up exactly when they said they would, focused on their work, and followed the plan. The price was also very fair for the outstanding quality of work and service. Troy even went the extra mile to provide us with new baseboards despite the added cost to Mudslingers (they were more expensive than his bid had anticipated). He also primed the new walls for us even though we're planning to paint them. We couldn't be happier with their services and the end result!

Troy and his team are hardworking consummate professionals. They are responsive and flexible. They met their timeline and gave us a beautiful finished basement. We couldn't be happier.

We had MudSlingers patch up our ceiling in our basement and the team was so great to work with! Troy was quick to schedule a consultation and was able to get us on the books to complete the work. The team did a great job and left the space clean. You would never know we have any type of damage now. Thank you!

Troy's team was super easy to work with. He was super responsive and got our project (completely drywalling a small closet, re-drywalling above the fireplace to install backer board, installing an electrical outlet, two switches, and a light) swiftly. The price for the work we had done was also very reasonable. His contractors were punctual and polite. I'll recommend them and call again for my next project.

They came out to provide a free quote and worked around my schedule for this. They had no problem compromising on the work we wanted to complete ourselves. We wanted to complete all the finishing painting and trim. We got a few quotes, some cheaper, some more spendy, but they were by far the most professional and responsive. Communication was great. The owner and project manager came back out before starting work to make sure we were all on the same page with what was expected. Work was completed within the projected timeline and exceeded our expectations. Every day they came the sheeted everything off to avoid as much residual dust and cleaned up completely every afternoon before they left. Everything took about a total of 6 working days (a couple necessary breaks between per our request and to allow the mud to dry. My husband was home the whole time, but this was not necessary. They did not require us to be there. This was not nearly our first experience with contractors. We worked with many contractors to completely build our last home from the 2x4 skeleton on up and had many different experiences with all kinds of contractors. This company has been one of the best ones we have had the pleasure of working with. Everyone was professional and very easy to work with. The final outcome of the work that was done is impeccable despite the house being 80 years old. The guys who came out to the house are very good at what they do and were nothing but respectful of both us, personally and to our home. We will absolutely keep them in mind for future projects and also recommend them to any family and friends in need of their services.

From day one Mudslingers surprised me with their professionalism , Troy came to my house gave me an accurate explanation of how the job was going to be performed and his team executed the project as agreed on time and very well done. The guys were very respectful of my space, I asked one of his team members for how long he was working for Mudslingers and he said 10 years and he was happy with his job. Fantastic! Troy and his entire team were great. Very responsive. Communication was timely and clear. Work was done faster than expected, and they even did more than was originally discussed without adjusting the quote. The entire experience was wonderful. My wife and I are relatively new home buyers and have heard the horror stories of having repair work done. We only hope all our experiences are this good.

Better than I expected which is literally all you could ever ask from such a situation. They’ve done great work for me twice, they came in under my insurance company’s estimate twice, they’ve help me complete or coordinate extra, unrelated work twice. They’re terrific. Will only use them moving forward.

These guys are the best. All the way from the initial consultation through the process and the finished product, they exceeded our expections. After a very frustrating experience with another contractor that I had to fire, Mudslingers has been a breath of fresh air to work with! They are in the process of redoing my laundry room and flooring due to water damage. I will update this post with photos of completed work when they finish, but so far they have been great to work with!

Troy and the team did a fabulous job. Very responsive and were on top of their stuff. Little delay due to weather but the kitchen looks great. So worth it!
