It went like it always does, as easy as you could ask it to go, and with all the work terrific. I am terribly not handy and I hate dealing with fixing things or handy work in the worst way, which is why it is an enormous relief to have Troy’s number in my phone, who will get it handled, and quickly, and if some little thing went wrong, he’ll get that handled even quicker. We tried to do the work ourselves in places this time to save money, but their quotes are reasonable enough we gave up on most of them and just had the company handle it. Our go-to resource for like 95% of house problems, they’re the best.

Terrible. The contractor walked away from the project leaving both myself and the subs hanging. Refused to return calls. Refused to refund deposits paid. I would never recommend this contractor to anyone in the future and strongly recommend no one hire this firm and also that they lose their contractors license.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had with an Angi Service. I heard from the company quickly and was able to confirm the service needed and it was scheduled within a business week. Since it was water damage I was so thankful to get it fixed. You will also get an invoice to help with insurance. The techs who showed up went right to work and it was all done in half a day with a pristine clean up. Until the next storm of the century brings on another six inches of rain. Thank you Troy!

I needed a contractor to work on my basement project. I received several quotes. Most of them I waited days before getting a response and then weeks to get the quote. Troy responded immediately and we had a date on the calendar for the same week for him to look at the project. He sent me the quote by the end of the day. His professionalism was the reason I hired him. I wasn't disappointed as the project went exactly as he promised. His crew was on time, hard-working, polite, professional and clearly had a strong work ethic because they did an amazing job! I would recommend Mudslingers to anyone that is looking for a reliable contractor that does great work!

I dont even know where to start but whatever you do DO NOT hire this company! I have never written a bad review in my life but I was completely burned by Troy and his team. I hired them 1 year ago to finish a room and a hall way with in addition to install 3 new doors. Every part of the process was done poorly and incorrectly. The doors were crooked, and installed with only 2" brad nails with nothing more to support the door! The drywall tape was filled with bubbles and was peeling up in several spots. they didnt bother to take outlet face plates off they just cut the drywall holes around them leaving 1/2" gaps around them!! They threw away my antique vent covers. The worst part of all of this was the fact that they cracked and entire wall of tile in my bathroom, a room they didnt even do work in! Initially they offered to repair the bathroom at a discounted rate. Given I had no other options, I agreed and we signed a contract for the work to be done mid last summer. When the time came they were a no show. On top of that they didnt respond to my emails, calls or texts. During the first estimate Troy boasted about how honest and responsive they were. Dont be fooled by this crook! What a disappointing experience.

We just put up sheetrock in our basement and were looking for someone to mud and tape it as well as texture the ceiling. We looked at Craigslist and reached out to a few local businesses. It can be overwhelming. A friend of ours recommended that we contact Mudslingers Drywall. They came out to our house quickly, were very knowledgeable, answered any questions, and their pricing was very competitive. We quickly felt like they were the best fit for our project and at no time did we feel pressured to go with them. They did a tremendous job. They finished the project on time, their crew was very friendly, and there were no surprises or additional costs at the end. They covered the floors when working and there was no mess for us to cleanup afterwards. We will definitely use Mudslingers again for any additional projects moving forward and would highly recommend them.

Mudslingers is the embodiment of renovation nightmare. They are by far the worst contractor experience of our entire renovation. Both my electrician and painter commented on the amateur quality of the work despite Mudslingers specifying level 4 quality in their contract. Not only did the owner / general contractor / project manager never show up during construction, but the drywall crew didn’t speak a word of English.

I contacted Mudslingers for some work on our building. Troy not only responded quickly, but kept me informed about the project the entire time. It was done in a very timely manner and the quality and professionalism of the job was outstanding. I have since had them do another project for me and have referred him to others. He is a very honest and upstanding businessman. Thanks for the great work.

I heard about Mudslingers through a friend who owns a remodeling company and was one of many companies I received a quote from. I needed our walls mudded, taped, and sanded. I have been general contracting the building of my own home and have been working with many contractors and have communicated with so many I lost count just getting estimates from. Troy has been one of the most responsive out of any contractor I’ve worked with. When I needed a form signed by him for our bank, he emailed it back to me almost immediately. I couldn’t believe it. He’s the only contractor to actually send me a schedule of when they were going to be out working and what they would be doing each day. The pricing is very reasonable and the crew did a great job. I get compliments on their work from other contractors. Troy has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is right and anything that makes building your own home easier is a relief.

Amazing job by Mudslingers. We had some plaster ceiling in our 105 year old house begin to crack and partially collapse. Contacted Mudslingers and they demo'ed the remaining plaster and replaced it with sheetrock. The work also included removing two ceiling fixtures (one ceiling fan and a chandelier) and they replaced them after ceiling work was complete. The entire quoting, scheduling, and onsite services were amazing. Obtained a quote from them that was less expensive than the other two contractors we contacted. Scheduling communication was very clear and well laid out between various stages of the project (demo/sheetrock/mud/sanding), and the project finished up way ahead of schedule. During the project we received multiple phone and text message updates from the team, and all of our questions during the project were responded to within minutes (even on a Sunday evening). As someone who purchased a 105 year old house a few years ago, we've hired nearly a dozen contractors for various updates around the house. But Mudslingers is easily the best experience we've had. Definitely an A+ experience

Absolutely loved Mudslingers. They came in after an unpleasant experience with another contractor and were a dream to work with. We needed to replace ceilings in two rooms after some water damage caused rather large holes in both ceilings. They communicated clearly and regularly about what was happening and had a clear timeline for work that they stuck to. Troy was great to work with and walked me through things in a way that was easy to understand for a first time home owner and clearly had our best interest at heart with his suggestions for both those rooms and our upstairs that experienced nail pops when another crew replaced the roof. Their crew was very professional and took great care to protect the floors and rest of the home as they did their work. Wish I had known about Mudslingers sooner!!

As a smaller landlord with 3 properties, my project needs are maybe not on a scale as many larger commercial projects, and in my attempts to hire drywall professionals, I was turned down by 3-4 other drywall vendors. Troy at Mudslingers was also booked, but reviewed his schedule, and after listening to my situation, took my project on, squeezing me into their already booked schedule. His team came out, and quickly demoed out the old kitchen wall material, re-rocked, and then sent out the follow up team for taping and sanding. In addition, the bathroom needed to be rocked as well, so he was able to work me into his schedule again, getting my bathroom done, which was a bit more complicated, as I needed the recessed ceiling redone as well. He had an expert that was able to complete the ceiling work as well, along with a few window crank replacements we needed repaired. All in all, Mudslingers really came through for me on these unforeseen projects. However, they even went beyond the call of duty. On another property that I just began work on, upon demo of the cabinets from the kitchen, there was also a strip of decorative formica about 2 feet wide that was on the walls between the counter top to the bottom of the upper cupboards. I had the Demo done on a Wednesday, with the replacement cabinets to be installed on Friday. On Wednesday night we had removed the formica boards and unfortunately it ripped off parts of the wall. I called Troy to see what he could do, figuring I might have to cancel my cabinet install, which could take another week or two for a rescheduled date. Troy, after reviewing the video I sent, said they could "skim coat" on Thursday, 2 coats. He said the cabinet guys could still come Friday to install the cabinets, and then his team would come back to sand to complete this emergency need. His willingness to get my crisis done on a 1 day turnaround really saved me, to keep my other projects on track. I was so appreciative given I know how booked they are on other projects. At Mudslingers, they really treated me like an important client, even though I'm not a large apartment or commercial property owner. The work was all top quality. I give them 5 stars for quality of work, and 5 stars on customer service! Now I have a contractor for all my future projects! Tim Landlord
