I originally called Sears on a Thursday, and was advised that it would be Saturday before they could come out, and in addition they tried to up sell me to a service contract. I called Excelsior and they came out the same day (great, because I had loads of baby clothes to wash!) and fixed the problem. He was very professional ad courteous.

Found unit needed recharging, called for approval and was finished a day or two later

He was courteous and prompt and very efficient. I have since called them back to fix my dryer and that went very well. I will always use this company for appliance repair!

We had a great experience with the repair from Excelsior. We scheduled them in for a refrigerator repair, and they were on time, and quick as well once they got to the house. The tech was polite, and easy to work with. no problem since the repair, very happy overall

I called on Tuesday, Excelsior Appliance came out on Wednesday. They quickly diagnosed the problem, defrosted the freezer, and cleaned the gunk out from underneath the freezer. Also replaced the water filter. Price was fair, job completed quickly.

Our fridge stopped working just before the weekend and few companies were willing to come by the same day to fix it. Excelsior went out of its way to route a serviceman our way to get the problem taken care of. Unfortunately, owing to some confusion, we were unaware when he came to our door and did not respond. They still made another effort, unsuccessfully, to have another technician come over. Were very impressed by their responsiveness (as well as the fact that they first attempted, over the phone, to help us troubleshoot and fix the problem by ourselves). Based on this experience we would not hesitate to use their services if ever needed.

It was the rare case where they were able to diagnose the problem over the phone, and I could fix it locally with a simple adjustment. They have earned all my future business! Nice folks who have been in busy many years and very honest! Highly recommend.

They were good people but we had a little bit of an issue with people getting the wrong parts. He took care of it, it's just that we lost time. You wait 4-6 days for them to come out then they come out and didn't have the right thing with them. Then they have to order the right part and your oven is down that much longer until they got the right part. They only charged for one trip of course, since the second trip was their own fault. They handled it the way they should have handled it, it was just disappointing because we couldn't use our oven. They literally brought the wrong control panel. The guy messed up our kitchen floor when he pulled the oven out, he scratched our wood floors pretty badly. We had furnished card board and expressed that we were concerned about the floor. The owner came out to look at it and gave us a big discount on the work we were having done to make up for the cost of the repairs from the scratch on the floor. We would go back to them because the owner was a real stand up guy. I think he gave us $150 back. He wasn't defensive, he didn't deny it, he came out and looked. He never got defensive, he just took care of it which I loved. I would tell others to use them and make sure you have a way of contacting the owner, if something goes wrong don't mess around with the workmen. Things aren't always perfect with these service things, as long as the company is willing to stand behind their work and do right by the customer. Just go to the owner and he'll take care of you.

When I called Excelsior Appliance, they could not schedule service until the following day. However, I was told that if the serviceperson finished his appointments early enough, they would make every effort to come out that same day. Kyle did come over later that afternoon and he was able to properly diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, the repair could not be made the same day because the part was not available. As promised, several days later, Kyle phoned to say the part was in and we scheduled service for early the next day. Overall, this was a terrific service experience. Kyle is knowledgeable, personable, helpful, and reliable. The next time I need to purchase a major appliance, I will definitely see Excelsior Appliance.

Had a cracked glass in the door of my self cleaning oven. I called and received an over the phone analysis of my problem as most of the door had to be replaced. They gave me an estimate to repair over the phone(either in their shop or in my home). They also guided me in removing the door so I could save the cost of $80-90 in service fees by bringing in the door to them. Everything worked out as I brought in the door to their shop and it was ready for pickup in about a week. They were up front and very helpful. I was impressed.

Received next day service, had the parts on hand and completed repair within the scheduled time. Very nice service technician.

They were very courteous on the phone and were able to come out the day after I called them. The repairman was very prompt, professional and knowledgeable about our dishwasher model. He did not have the necessary part with him, but he assured me he would be back within 2 days with it. And he was. He showed me how to by -pass the bad switch so I could use the dishwasher until he returned. It's a small, family business with a few employees. The same repairman came out for both trips so there was no issue about him not being acquainted with the problem. I'd definitely call them again.

Excelsior Appliance is awesome at getting right back to you and coming out to diagnose the problem. I did have concerns that the first service tech wasn't as familiar with dishwashers as I would like and wasn't convinced that the repair he suggested was appropriate. After follow up in a couple of months, a different person came out and pin pointed what the problems could be and gave me a "quick and cheap" fix to hopefully solve the issue. If that didn't solve it, he suggested 2 other things it might be (too much soap being put in the dishwasher or another part that might eventually need replacing...which he pointed out to me). Overall....I was pleased with the 2nd visit. The first guy was fabulous with the dogs and a nice guy.....but didn't feel his diagnosis was "right on".

It went very well. The person was on-time and was very professional in his work. He had all the necessary materials that were required to fix my dryer. Was very pleased and satisfied - would most definitely recommend them for service or sales.

They were very responsive and able to schedule a same day appointment. The experienced service tech was on time and promptly completed the task. I like that they charge a trip fee and break labor down into increments so that I did not have to pay for an entire hour of labor for this quick job. I will use them again if I need appliance service--a local business with excellent service and fair prices.

It was fine. they were on time. It was a fair price. I took care of everything in one phone call.

Excellent overall experience. This dishwasher is a top of the line Bosch model. When we came to the store in the beginning of July, the dishwasher was not yet available for shipment from Bosch warehouses. Excelsior Appliance were in contact with Bosch to arrange the shipment and then called us to schedule an installation. The installation was very smooth. The installer was knowledgable, accurate, and very detailed. He did an excellent job.

My auto ice maker had stopped producing ice. I called Excelsior on the Friday prior and they were able to schedule a service call on Monday. Service man arrived at appointed time. Identified the problem and had replacement unit on truck. He estimated the bill at $250 but at the completion of the work total came to $216.

I don't remember exactly how much I spent. They wee okay. My only complaint is they didn't install it as well as they should have. It shakes a lot. I never called them back to come back and fix it. There was some missing screws and things weren't screwed tight. They came on time and got it done quickly.

On all occasions the technician was on time, pleasant, knowlegeable and thorough. When a situation arose where the tech could have recommended a costly part replacement that would have put money in their pockets, he instead gave me a quick fix and told me that I could wait it out and may never have a problem. I appreciated the honesty!

Very professional. On time. Repaired leak in dishwasher. Straightenen unit since remodelers apparently installed incorrectly. Checked over the rest of the unit. Ordered a part that had broken in the dish rack. All in all....very satisfied with the service that was provided.

This man is honest in his dealings. He told me to go check out other refrigerators and then come back and see him. He has many brands to choose from. When they installed it, they had to take out the old one, which was in a very tight spot. They didn't mark up or ruin the floor at all. We did have trouble with our ice maker and he came right back out and fixed it. He also repairs refrigerators and is honest and reliable.

It was a wonderful experience. Its a small company and we feel like part of the family. They were quick, clean, and very informative. He was great with suggestions and very honest.

I called five minutes before closing and spoke the owner, who fit me in the next morning's work schedule. I was impressed with Kyle's knowledge and attitude. When we were talking about price so I could make a decision on whether or not purchasing a new garbage disposal was cost effective, he verbally ran through the costs, which I added up in my head and confirmed that it would be $275 total for all parts, labor and service call. He agreed. When one of his coworkers, Larry, performed the work the following week, the final bill was $335--$60 more than Kyle and I had discussed. Larry couldn't do anything about it so Kyle called me the next morning. We both remembered the conversation differently but I asserted that I did not expect to be charged that much more. He said he didn't have $275 written in his notes. I spoke with Joe, one of the owners and we worked out a compromise of $310, which was $35 more than I'd planned and $25 less than their bill. Lesson: get quotes in writing!

Excellent. I called on a monday and they were booked. They called the next day to see if I was in, an arrived at our door within an hour. The owner, Joe, did the work and made the follow up phone call.
