I called Excelsior when my washer stopped mid-cycle. They were very friendly, and scheduled a service appointment ASAP. Robert arrived on the early portion of the appointment window. He was very professional and courteous. After thoroughly investigating the situation he determined a small sock had become lodged within the mechanisms, which had jammed up the entire machine. He removed and repaired, and my washer is as good as new. He left the laundry area cleaner than when he arrived. I highly recommend Excelsior, and will hire them again if the need arises.

I expected an easy repair for the dishwasher, and it went better than expected (part repair versus replacement). The challenge was finding a part for my vintage stove. They found it and repaired quickly. I appreciated they were up for the challenge and didn't just write it off as an impossible task.

Well, appliances these days are not made to last. Replacement cost is around $300. $89 service call seemed a worthwhile risk. Kyle the service tech said a transducer was stuck. He has it working for now but to fix the problem we would need a new board. The cost for the board and repair would be similar to a new microwave. So we will buy a new microwave when it stops working again. Kyle also looked at our washing machine, dryer and upright freezer. He said they are old but as long as they are working fine, keep them.

They were on time and recognized the problem right away. My dishwasher was an older model so he had to improvise to repair. He did a great job.

I know the guy so I got a pretty good deal on the cost. I don't remember what it was. They're very good, very responsive. I went over to the warehouse for the Kitchen-Aid, Whirlpool, and I picked it up. That way I saved some money. I brought it out to the house and he came out and put it in. It took probably about an hour to install the dishwasher and about 20 minutes for the microwave. He just had to take the other one out and put the new one in the same spot. It was very good. I think they've always been very good.

It went very well. The technician assessed the problem quickly, helped clean off the coils, had the electronic part and fixed it very efficiently.

I actually figured out what was wrong just minutes before the repair person got here. He quickly confirmed my diagnosis, checked a couple of things, and just charged the minimum fee for a visit. This company made time in their schedule to come the next day, since I had no cooling in my fridge. The other company I called would have required me to wait 3 days.

Repaired without issue. Seemed expensive. Fixed several issues in two visits, one diagnostic the other was the actual repair. Like using smaller local company.

Very well. A part needed to be ordered and a return visit for installation. They came in the timeframe they had indicated and completed the repair.

Service person did a thorough inspection but could find nothing wrong with the range. Temperature problem persists.

We had to wait a couple of weeks, but when they came he solved all of our issues. Figured out problems that other electricians haven't been able to do.

I spent the better part of a Saturday afternoon in the store looking for a new dishwasher, an unexpected expense after moving into a new house. The sales lady on duty that afternoon was more than helpful. She spent much time researching various models - their in-store inventory, appliance catalogs and online to be sure I was getting all the features I wanted at a price that wouldn't break the bank. After bringing home a variety of print-outs to review with my husband, we decided on a model. When I called the following Monday to inquire how long it would be before the unit I desired arrived in their store, I was happily informed that they actually had one in stock and could install it the next day. First thing Tuesday morning, Ryan, a friendly and courteous technician, arrived on-time and with a smile. He removed the old dishwasher and installed the new unit in no time, took the old washer and loaded it on his truck and he was off. Before he left, he ran through all the and quot;good-to-knowsand quot; about our new dishwasher and provided some useful tips on keeping it working like new. (He even took a moment to check out an issue with our refrigerator water dispenser, which we found to be working just fine. Must have been his touch, because it wasn't working properly before he got there.) This was the second purchase we have made with Excelsior Appliance (we had to replace a previous blown dishwasher at another home we lived in years before.) Both times we experienced great service, prompt delivery and courteous employees. Will definitely use again, just hopefully not for another dishwasher! ;)

Our microwave indicated that it was on and did respond to buttons. However, when we pushed the start button to heat food it would not start. We searched on the Internet and found the problem closely matched what other people have been complaining about based on our symptoms which was a faulty and quot;door switchand quot;. We called Excelsior Appliance and discussed the problem with someone over the phone. The end result was that a technician (Larry) came to our home and verified what we assumed. He took the microwave back to the shop and worked on it. Once the microwave was fixed we scheduled a date for the microwave to be brought back out to the house. Very good experience with Excelsior Appliance and the price feels about right. Even though the issue was just a and quot;door switchand quot; the technician did have to remove the microwave from our wall in order to repair the unit. As a side note, the and quot;door switchand quot; problem we encountered is not unique to GE microwaves and you can find plenty of examples on the Internet of other people experiencing the same problem with other brands.

The dryer is quieter than when we moved here 4 years ago. Awesome! Had the part and came back,ASAP. Love them!

I was very impressed with friendliness, courtesy, expertise. These guys are the whole package. They were up front that it would be a costly repair and that replacing the washer might be a more economic option. They were professional. I will definitely call them again. We called to report a loud noise in dishwasher at the end of a wash cycle. The repairman came out the next day, diagnosed the problem, and had the part with him. He was done in less than an hour, and the dishwasher has been working fine since then.

My dryer stopped working on the 16th. I called and they were able to schedule me in the next day to get my dryer fixed. They gave me a four hour time period as to when Kyle would arrive to fix the machine which was helpful so I could run some errands before he arrived. He identified himself by the name the told me when I scheduled the job. He then looked at the clothes dryer. He discovered that the belt had broken. He explained what was wrong with the machine and what it would cost to fix it which included parts, labor and tax. I okayed the job and he fixed the machine in a timely manner.

The response from Excelsior appliance to our request for service was fast and no nonsense. Technician showed up on-time, analyzed and fixed the problem quickly and provided a written summary of the repair. Fast, efficient and reasonably priced.

Larry's attitude was serious and unfriendly. Asked him nicely to park in the driveway and he told me that he wouldn't have parked in the driveway if his truck leaked. All business after that. He charged me for a and quot;power stripand quot; ($130) before notifying us. When I questioned him about his hourly charge, he told me not to question his billing. He also said that he'd been repairing appliances for 33 years and this type of refrigerator needed these strips repaired frequently. When I told him that the power strip worked fine before his visit, he told me that it was just coincidence that it failed at the same time as his visit. Overall, descent workmanship. Excellent service from the office staff. Poor attitude from Larry the service tech. Recommend asking for a different tech.

I called Excelsior Appliance on Thursday. Larry called Friday morning to let me know that he could fit in a service call on Friday instead of waiting until Monday. He arrived on time and repaired the drain pump on the Kenmore Elite front loader. He did not recommend replacing the washing machine because it was fixable. Then he helped unclog a drainpipe from the upstairs bathtub. Larry was serious and helpful. He worked quickly and professionally. I really appreciate his knowledge. Great service!
