+ 0 moreDakota Craftsman was one of 3 contractors recommended by a major building supply company. I called all 3, and he replied first. (One other called back but I did not request a follow-up) We made an appointment to review the project, and he called that day to confirm that he would arrive at the scheduled time. We spoke at length about pros and cons of replacing door, door + frame, or door + frame+ sidelite. Pat was very informative and thorough in his description of the alternatives, and gave estimates so I could understand each option. I ended up making repairs to the door frame instead of replacing, so did not use them for this project. I was impressed by his experience, professionalism and seemed to be a very good craftsman. I have already recommended him to a neighbor who will do a project, and highly recommend Dakota Craftsman.

+ -1 moreDakota Craftsman was fantastic. Punctual on his bid, arrival to the job site and follow up. Pays attention to detail. Felt Pat was very honest to the point he was left alone in our home to do the work himself. I like the fact that the person who bid the job is the person who did the work. The final bill was right at the quoted number. No add ons or attempts to add costs which tells me he's thorough, competent, honest, ethical and experienced. He was also very tidy, cleanng up his work area each day and minmizing the amount of dust as best he could. I don't think you can go wrong with Dakota Craftsman. I'll definitely call him again if I need carpentry work.
Description of Work: Pat did some basic trim work on our main level. Added crown molding and new casings to windows and doors as well as a taller base board.

Description of Work: Pat built a deck onto the back of my house. It turned out beautifully just the way I envisioned it. I was impressed with how quickly it was built with in about 3 days and he did it mostly by himself. Pat is a true artist in construction.

+ 0 moreThe whole process went very well, from getting an estimate to the installation. The new door looks great and we are very happy with the quality of the work. Pat was a pleasure to work with and I felt comfortable having him in my home. He arrived right on time and was very courteous. The cost was reasonable (it included the cost of the new door). We would definitely use Dakota Craftsman in the future for home improvement projects and highly recommend it.
