My fridge died over the weekend. Hard to get anyone to come out on the weekend, so Monday morning I started calling. Apparently there are a lot of people trying to get their furnaces up and running, or their air conditioners put to sleep for the winter, because most providers were giving me times of two days to a week out. Fix-it-chick said there were 5 people ahead of me that day, but she would try to get to my place that same day. She was there a few hours later, had brought parts of each of three possible problems, the thermostat was one of them, she replaced it and then made me an offer. She had other clients to go help, said I could pay her to sit there in my kitchen with a hair dryer, defrosting the back wall, or she could tell me how to put the back panel back on, and she could go get to her other clients. She gave me perfect directions, I got the back on with no problem after I had done the defrosting. I saved money and she was able to get to her other clients. Win-Win!

All went well. No complaints. Showed up same day as called. Will call again if I need appliance repair.

Was very responsive and able to determine what the range of possible problems were over the phone so she had all the parts with her when she arrived.

She returned my call and we played phone tag for a bit. But thanks to her prompt service she made it out the next day. She was willing to come later the 1st day but that didn't work for me. I am very pleased she found the problem and the fee was very reasonable ss well.

Kathy was great! I called her this morning - and she said she could be at our house at 2:45 but would call ahead of time. She was very personable and professional and fixed our dryer! (It was the igniter). Her pricing was great compared to others I called. (I called two other places and they couldn't come out to our house until later in the week - Kathy came out same day!) Great job!!! Would definitely use her again.

Not only was she successful with her task but she taught us what to do in the future, left us with a cord to dislodge items ourselves and gave us tips for cleaning for maintenance purposes. We were extremely satisfied with our service and with Kathy.

Kathy first talked with me over the phone about the problem we were having with my mother's fridge. The freezer was frozen, but the refrigerator was warm. She had me check the make and model so she would have parts available when she came. In a very short time, she had everything apart, thawed out, and repaired! We were very pleased with her services, and would be happy to do so again!

My fridge was not as cold as usual. I called Kathy to get an idea of what a service call would cost. She helped walk me through some troubleshooting. I am pretty handy and was able to take off some panels and send her pictures of various parts of my freezer and fridge and she was able to eliminate pieces of the puzzle. She is clearly very good at what she does. We were able to make some adjustments and narrow down the issue. I am giving it a few days to see of the minor changes I made help, but if they don't I will definitely call Kathy. Any future repairs I need for my kitchen appliances will be done by her. She was so willing to help me figure out my issue.

I called Kathy Sunday night and she was at my home promptly the next day. She replaced the timer and had it up and running in no time flat. I had thought I'd need to buy a new refrigerator. She saved my a lot of money. I was very pleased with her and will be sure to call her again when an appliance needs repair.

She was easy to get hold of & obviously knowledgeable since she asked for the model number, etc. of the appliance and some other basic questions. She came prepared with a fuse for the washer even though she had to modify the part because of specific model differences. This helps so much that she didn't have to order a part & wait to come back to install it! Pleasant, cleaned up & called to make sure that the time for the appointment would work out. I'd definitely use her service again. I'd checked with Service Plus on their price & they would have charged about the same per hour on this appliance ... which I didn't have covered with their service plan! So I think it will be wise of me to cancel that Service Plus pre-paid plan & just use Angies List. I can see where that will save me money at this time.

I called her and she came over and had the part I needed with her so I didnt have to hand wash those dishes that were in my dishwasher! I was very happy!
