She did a great job assessing the issues and providing options for the lowest cost solutions. Also, despite that she visited twice, she only charged labor hours of the install.

I called and she diagnosed my problem over the phone for $25 (didn't know that was a service option, but that's definitely something I'll be doing again). Then I ran up and picked up the part from her for $25. She was fantastic and so friendly. She even encouraged me to do the work myself instead of like other providers who want to try and nickel and dime you.

Wonderful.... Kathy explained why the line broke, what she was doing to fix it, and what she was doing differently to hopefully keep it from happening again in the near future. Very personable and friendly. AAA++ Service

I called Kathy on a Friday afternoon when my refrigerator stopped cooling. She walked me through a series of questions after I explained the problem. She was able to diagnose the issue over the phone. Since I do have another refrigerator in the basement it wasn't an emergency so we set up a time on the following Tuesday for her to come out and replace the part. On Saturday morning, she called and said she was on another job very close to me and she was able to come right over and fix it. She was prompt, fast and gave clear instructions on what to do after she left. The refrigerator is working good as new and I couldn't be happier!

Oven wasn't working. Called Fix It Chick and explained the problem and set up an appointment. Kathy was very quick to replace the igniter in the oven and also saved me quite a bit of money on the igniter. The igniter that the manufacturer recommends costs around $200 and the replacement igniter that Kathy installed was $65.There was no difference in the igniter. Would highly recommend Fix It Chick for appliance repair.

She gave me lots of great advice without charge and without even without needing to show up at the house. I will certainly call her right away the next time any large appliances in our home need service.

Diagnosed, tried a couple of things, determined it was a loose wire harness. No additional parts required. Fast, easy to work with, couldn't have asked for more!

I reached Kathy on a Saturday morning after contacting 7 or 8 other repairs services in the West Metro. I was getting pretty disappointed in many of the companies listed on Angie's. Didn't answer phones, return messages or when they did answer, their individual motivation to fix my appliance was lacking. Not Kathy. She answered my call, changed her plans, show up at my home within 2 hours and fixed my refrigerator. She, hands down, has provided the best services I've seen in the 15+ years of owning a home. Her price is very reasonable and her customer service is outstanding. I would recommend her to anyone.

I called Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. I told her I had relocated all the stuff in both the frig and freezer so she did not have to rush. Said she could come on Monday at 3:00 pm, which is what I asked. She immediately when to work. She knew the model and serial number of frig, because she asked for that information after our first conversation. She had a new sensor unit, which she said after her experience in repairing this model is the usual problem. Changed it out and asked if I wanted her to defrost my freezer or I could do it to save the labor costs. I said I would, and she showed me what to do before I plugged it back in. It works great again. I would recommend her to anyone and use her again myself.

What the reviews say is true. I give Kathy the information over the phone of my model # and what was going on. They show up with the exact part that was needed to fix the washer. Now am on my third load of wash. It feels great to have exactly what you wish for delivered.!!!!

She was very friendly, explained exactly what went wrong and what she was fixing, and she also went above and beyond by replacing our burnt out fridge bulb with one she had on hand at no extra cost to us. I would definitely recommend her.

Fabulous service from knowledgeable repair woman. Professional, prompt, reasonable. Did not mark up parts, like many companies do. Labor rate was very reasonable. When I was making the appointment, she asked very specific questions about the make, model and serial number of the appliances so she could guess what needed to be fixed and bring the right parts. She had the right parts and she properly diagnosed over the phone, thus cutting down the cost and time of the repairs. Highly recommended!

Our refrigerator stopped working on Friday night and we called Fix-It-Chick Saturday morning to see if we could schedule service for Sat or Sun. Kathy took model and serial number of our refrigerator to do some research on it and got back to us within an hour. She had two things for us to try and the second one confirmed her suspicions, a faulty defrost timer. She gave excellent instructions on how to replace it and asked if we felt confident to do it ourselves. We did so she ordered the needed part and we picked it up and are chilling again! She only charged us for the price of the part, saving a service call charge. We will definitely use her again for any appliance need we have.

She was very responsive, clearly communicated my options and had parts on hand for a quick repair She also took the time to show how to extend the life of the dishwasher with a few simple tricks I will definitely utilize Fix-It- Chick again!

My dishwasher started making a really loud noise when it ran, although it still washed the dishes. I thought I'd probably need to replace it, but thought I'd check first to see if it would be worth fixing. Based on the model of dishwasher I have, she highly recommended fixing it. She was quick and thorough and my dishwasher has worked perfectly ever since.

Kathy was very responsive to our inquiry and was able to make it out to our house immediately to fix our oven. The wait was over 2 weeks for two other companies to come out. She was upfront about possible issues with our oven and potential costs. The igniter ended up needing to be replaced. She was at our house for less than an hour and was very reasonably priced. We will definitely contact Kathy again in the future for appliance repair work.
