Kathy got the job done and we were pleased. She was prompt in calling to schedule and in showing up as scheduled. She tried for the most cost-effective repair, which did not work right away. She returned the next day, and she fixed the machine.

Kathy is knowledgeable and efficient. She came the same morning I called, knew what the problem probably was with the washer, and brought the part needed to fix it.

It went very well. Since this wasn't an emergency, Kathy and I agreed that she would come out and look at the dishwasher when she was working in my area (within 4 days). She diagnosed that I needed a new motor. Kathy looked up the cost of the part and gave me an estimate. We briefly discussed repair versus replacing the dishwasher and I decided to repair it. Kathy ordered the part and came out on a Saturday to install it. We had scheduled for earlier in the week; however, she had an emergency come up (refrigerator repairs), so we rescheduled for Saturday. My dishwasher is quiet again. I would call Kathy again.

Visit went fine,a lot of debris behind the dryer that was vacuumed up and a new elbow was installed and attached to the dryer.

Kathy from Fix-It-Chick was terrific! We even called her on a Saturday -- and she answered the phone, asked several questions that allowed her to assess the problem, had me take a photo of the model number and text it to her so she could bring the right part. She came the next day -- on Sunday afternoon! -- and replaced the blown control board/panel, and was in and out in less than an hour. And on top of that, she took care to make sure our wood floors would not be marked up in moving the fridge. We hope we don't have to call her too often -- but we definitely were impressed with and highly recommend Kathy!

Overall the service call went very well and the problem was quickly resolved. After the Kenmore service rep didn't show, we called Fix-It-Chick to see if she could fix the issue. Kathy was very helpful over the phone to initially trouble-shoot the problem. It was determined a new control board was needed; she ordered the part late Saturday; and installed it on Monday. Problem solved! Will call her first if we experience any washer/dryer or kitchen appliance issues in the future. Thanks Kathy!

Kathy called within 15 minutes of leaving an email inquiry. She was able to come to my house the same day (with a couple of hours of calling). She came with the necessary parts needed to fix the washer and was very honest about what the washer needed. She replaced the parts quickly and involved me in showing me what the problem was. She works quickly and efficiently and enjoys what she does. Overall a great experience and I would ask her back when other repairs are needed.

We were surprised at how quickly she could come over to evaluate our dryer. She was over for a short time, found the problem and promptly fixed it. Her positivity and efficient manner were a plus! We'll definitely contact her again if any of our large appliances need attention! Thank you.

She stopped by the same day we called. There were no parts needed. Her experience showed in that she seemed to have known what the problem was ahead of time after my telling her the type of freezer. She showed us how to maintain what turns out to be a design flaw in the freezer. We would certainly call her again.

Cathy responded to our request for a dryer repair SUPER fast - on a Sunday too! She was able to come by after church and fix our faulty timer switch (with a part she had on hand!). She was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and use her again if at all possible. SO many thumbs up!

Kathy was great to work with! She got back to me right away. I described the issues the dryer was having and we scheduled time for her to come out the next day. After she thought about it a bit more, she called me back and thought it might be the dryer vent, and if it was plugged up, I might be able to clear that myself. I tried but didn't have any luck so Kathy came out - she was right, it was the dryer vent and she fixed it. I really appreciate that she guided me through the whole process.

She was great. Got back to me less than 24 hours after I sent her an email and was able to make it the same day. She came on time, with a phone call letting me know she would be there in an hour. She took the dishwasher apart, cleaned it, and replaced a broken piece. She was quick, nice to talk to and gave me some tips on keeping it working well. It didn't take very long and she cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend her and will definitely give her a call the next time i need something repaired!

She was gracious enough to come out on a Sunday to get the leaky dishwasher fixed. She had the part needed on hand and was able to fix it in under 30 minutes. I will be using her again

I was able to reach Kathy right away and she came out and fixed our dryer within 6 hours! By giving her the info on our dryer, she already had the part in hand and fixed it within 15 minutes of arriving. She was incredibly pleasant to work with and being a busy household where having our laundry out of commission for days is tough...we really appreciated her responsiveness. We will definitely use her again in the future.

My typical experience with appliance repair goes like this; Make an appointment a few days out, stay at home for a 4 hour period during a week day, tech diagnoses the problem on site but has to order part, part takes 3-5 days to receive, schedule a follow up appointment a few days out, stay at home for a 4 hour period, tech installs part. Total elapsed time about 10 days. That's a long time without a washer or dryer when you have 3 kids. My experience with Kathy (fix-it-chick); She took my phone call around 11:30 am on Saturday. Requested the model number, serial number, and error code so she could do some online research and troubleshooting before arriving. She called me back a little while later. The documentation indicated the most likely culprit to be a bad flow meter. She asked when I would be home -- anytime after 12:30. She arrived at my house about 1:15. My kenmore didn't actually have a flow meter. Not to worry, she had most of the parts my washer might need -- "I basically have your washing machine in a box in my van." So, she spent some time troubleshooting. She was able to determine that the water pressure was lighter than it should be, and suggested installing a new water inlet valve. Problem solved. Total elapsed time from phone call to working washer: 3 hours. Seriously. 3 hours. Cost was $85 for service call, $15 for additional labor, $69.00 for the part, for a total of $169.00. Kathy was very polite and pleasant, very methodical, knowledgeable and professional. She's earned my repeat business.

Kathy promptly responded to my email and called me to discuss my washing machine problem. She came over the following Saturday. She brought along several parts and had a plan based on her knowledge about washing machines. It turned out to be something she hadn't encountered before, an internal connector had come unplugged, but through a process of elimination she figured it out. She is smart, friendly, and works fast. I'd gladly use her services again.

Kathy was very professional and brought the parts with her and repaired the ice maker on the fridg. she works very fast and completed the job with out any problems. She knows what she is doing.I liked that she knew exactly what was wrong and had no problems or extra costs. vary fair in her prices and I did get the 10% off for angies list member..You can certainly trust her to do a complete and good job. I will definitely use her again. I called her on a Saturday afternoon after my renters complained of a loud noise from the washing machine when it was on spin cycle. She promptly called me back on the way to a family event and promised to get back to me in the morning with some potential causes. I received a call at 9 the next morning indicating she thought she knew what it may be and actually had the part on hand to stop by and take a look at it yet today. She arrived on time and quickly made the repair. She really went above and beyond as I was not expecting a service call on a Sunday especially considering she was heading out of town that night. She definitely did not have to do that, but wanted me to be able to find a replacement if the suspected cause wasn't correct. Luckily for me I didn't need a replacement washer and My renters are able to continue to use the washing machine. She is awesome!

Kathy repaired my refrigerator -- she was very knowledgeable and helpful. She had the necessary part on hand to do my repair which saved a lot of time. I feel her customer service was great. From the initial phone call through the repair she was very friendly. She called in the morning to give me a ballpark of when she would be coming so I didn't have to hang out and wait for her, then called when she was on her way. Her price for the service call, labor, and part were very reasonable. I will absolutely use Fix-It-Chick for future service!
